Kana smiled and walked to the kitchen. She sat at a large rectangular dining table and looked over at Kioshi. "What would you like to eat? Anything you want, really." she said smiling at him. She watched the maid come in and look at them, waiting for their requests.

As Kioshi looked at Kana sit on the kitchen table, he lightly tilted his head looking at her sit there. "Well....arent you lively?" he said with a smile looking at the maid waiting for a request. "Please....would you happen to have any herbal tea?" he asked bowing his head lightly in respects.

Kana giggled a little at Kioshi's comment about the maid, who shot a look at Kana with a glare. Kana stuck her tongue out, showing the exact opposite of Kioshi's polite respect. "Just get me some water please." Kana chimed into Kioshi's request.

As Kioshi looked at Kana stick her tongue out at the maid he smiled a bit as he just shook his head slightly. "Thank you...." he said back towards the maid.

Kana nodded and smiled at the maid as if it were a thank you and looked back over to Kioshi. "So...are you pushed away because of your special ability? Are you loved because of it?" she asked.

As Kioshi heard Kana's question, he frowned a bit looking back down at his hands. "I am hated by my own village......thats why I left with my parents...they are the only ones who ever still cared for me.." he said with a sadful tone.

Kana put a hand over her mouth and looked at the tablecloth. "Kioshi...I'm sorry, it won't happen again." Kana assured. "And...if it matters...I care for you..."

Kioshi shook his head to Kana as he smiled a bit. "Kana, dont apologize...you didnt do anything wrong. You were curious, nothing is wrong with that." he said as he put his hand onto her chin and raised her head to look into her eyes. "Th-thank you.....Kana...that really means a lot to me..I'm really happy out of everyone to care for me....you do." he said with a soft and gentle smile.

Kana smiled and slowly removed her hand. "It seems I'm always curious...and get in trouble for it," Kana said as she rolled her eyes. She swung her legs like pendulums under the table. She was still very much like a little girl, she always had to be knowing things and was always a questionable girl, some people even think she's much younger than she is.

Kioshi smiled as he looked at Kana kicking her feet. Maybe mother...and father were right.....she is quite beautiful...and really energic. he thought to himself as he tilted his head to the side. "So......whats your story?.....you seem to be really young....but you must be older then you look since your marrying me." he said as he leaned over and sat down next to her.

Kana shrugged a little and smiled. "Well, how old do you think I am?" she asked, interested in what he thought. She knew he would probably guess a few years older than what he really thought. 'He's not bad at all, I could get used to this.'

Kioshi looked into Kana's eyes as he tilted his head a bit in thought. "Hmm......19?" he asked with a playful little tone standing there slightly leaning to the side. I wonder when mother and father are planning this wedding?....... he thought as he smiled still looking into her eyes.

Kana laughed and shook her head. "I'm only 18. Where did 19 come from? The highest anyone's ever guessed my age was 16!" she said, trying not to make him look bad.

Kioshi blushed bright red as he looked down at the ground trying to hide the redness in his face. "oh....uhm....I'm sorry." he said as he felt a bit down from seeminly sounding if he called Kana a bit older then she really was.

Kana realized she just totally ruined a perfectly good conversation. "No, no, no, no! Don't be sorry, I take that as a compliment!" she said.

Kioshi looked up towards Kana as he noticed that she really didnt mean it in a bad way. He smiled a bit softer as he leaned over and kissed her cheek gently. "Thank you.....for....taking it in such a nice way."

Kana nodded and blushed a little. "Well why would I take it badly? I can't think of a reason for that." she said.

As Kioshi smiled and pulled away from Kana's cheek he tilted his head a bit. "I thought......I thought you would take it bad....about being a bit......older then you really are, many people have hated me for that." he said as he looked at his feet for a moment then back up to her still smiling softly.

Kana shook her head and laughed. "No, that only means that I look older and act older. Everyone tells me I'm immature and a failure of life...but I just ignore them and look for the rainbow in every storm." she said smiling brightly.

Kioshi smiled and nodded to what Kana did when people talked to her like that. "I cant understand why people would do that.........your the best person I've ever met, you know that joy and love are what bring people together in this world." he said with a little soft tone as he leaned over and ran his hand down her cheek.

Kana kept her smile, but it lessened a little. One of Kana's favorite things was smiling, it was just fun to her. It cheered herself and others up. "Thanks..." she said blushing.

Kioshi hadnt noticed that Kana was blushing but he did notice how her smile slightly began to become more softer . He smiled a bit as he tilted his head to the side and took away his hand from her cheek a bit. "Its no problem..." he said as he looked around the room for the maid. "Hmm....hope that lady comes back soon.....I'm dying for my tea..." he said with a soft little laugh.

Kana smiled and shook her head. "You could run 20 laps around this place and she wouldn't come back by then. She's a bit old, almost retirement age." she said. She shrugged, and just then the maid walked in. She handed Kioshi his tea and Kana her water. "Thank you."

As Kioshi had his tea, he smiled and bowed a bit again making sure he didnt spill his tea. "Thank you..." he said as he looked back towards Kana and drank his tea a bit. "mmmm....this is really good."

Kana laughed."She may be old, but she can still cook well." she said. She kept swinging her legs and sipped her water.
