Shikamaru waited until her presence was gone. "The sound is in there I bet." He whispered shadows started to what looked like to be eating him but it was just protection. "What now?"

Sonta looked on at the village with a stern look in her eyes.Something was definately not right about this."We'll move in at the South."She finally said before biting her thumb,causing it to bleed,before pulling out a scroll with a few whispered words and hands signs before running her thumb over the opened scroll.With a puff a large black panther appeared."I need you on this mission,Ritzu."She said to him."The usual?"He asked before she nodded."Alright then."He hopped down from the tree and disappeared into the shadows of the trees."Let's go move to the western side for now.Ritzu will find us."

Kiba looked over att he panther."Wow..What a summon."He mutter under his breath as he jumped down and walked over to Sonta as she jumped out of the tree she was in."Let's go then."He said with a more serious look on his face now.

Shikamaru just fallowed aimlessly. He wanted to know why the sound would want her. "Troublesome." He whispered as he walked behind the two trying to sort things out.

Once at the western side of the village,Sonta leaned up against a tree and waited."You're not the only one who thinks this whole situation is troublesome.I've heard of some missions being nothing,but a trap.Just to make one village weaker for an attack."She said folding her arms now.

"So what should we do then?"Kiba asked looking at Sonta.

"We have to watch each other's back and make sure we get out of this alive if that's the case.Don't worry,I will not let anything happen to you two."Sonta said with a small smile towards them more or less trying to reassure herself than this mission wasn't going to be a trap.

"The girl is your sister? And she is a rouge?" He finally thought out loud then wish he hadn't. It was none of his business all he was suppose to do is do exactly what he was told...like normal...somehow he was just curious.

"Was,I thought I killed her five or six years ago.She turned her back on her own squad,killing her two teammates and then turned on me."Sonta said closing her eyes at the memory."Her name wa....Is Kanna.She's at least two or three years older than you boys.Guess she finally snapped after our mother died of a broken heart..Only a few years after our father was killed when the Kuubai(sp?) attacked the village.Most of you gennin were either babes or not even born back then."She sighed running a hand through her hair now.

Kiba looked away.'Damn.Guess she's tougher than I thought.Just to be able to put yourself up to killing your own sibling.'He thought folding his arms now with a sigh.

"Hmmm and you think that she is part of the sound correct?" Shikamaru thought he might have this all down... In fact he thought that Kanna in deed wanted to come home so Orochimaru decided to hold her hostage...well kill her... "I think we need to infiltrate fast if this is what I think is happening....." He looked up at the sky "Troublesome really!" He hated the sound with a bloody passion.

"Sonta.."Ritzu's voice said from the shadows as he came up."The Southern side is clear of guards."He said with a nod."Thats good then.Thank you Ritzu.That'll be all for now."Sonta said with a smile and nod."It might now be her he is holding,just a decoy to lure us in.We'll check it out and if it is,then we high tail it out of there before we're noticed."She said confidently to them."So I'm going to need your noses Kiba,Akamaru."

"You can count on us to sniff out the danger."Kiba said with a smile."We won't let you down."

"Then lets go before dawn comes."Sonta said as she and Ritzu headed South now.

Sighing Shikamaru fallowed. 'Why do wemon always avoid questions?' he thought to himself mumbling "Troublesome as he fallowed.

"Clear as can be."Sonta siad once they got to the Southern side of the village now.Ritzu's information was right on the spot and the feeling of danger was less over here than towards the northern side."Let's go in over here."She pointed out to a gap in the back gate.Sh went through first to make sure everything was clear before signaling for them to follow.

Kiba went through next once the coast was clear.Once to the other side,both him and Akamaru sniffed the air."It doesn't smell like ayone has been around here since sunset."He pointed out quietly.

Shikamaru fallowed behind slowly. "Why would they look this is like their dump." He said pointing to the old broken and borded up houses with large what looked to be body bags. "Are those bags with bodies in them?" He asked a little disturbed now.

No,it was a village at one point."Sonta said as a chill ran down her spine.'This was a thriving village at one point,but waht happened here?'She thoguht as she walked over to one of the bags,pulling out a kunai,and slicing it open a bit.She pulled away as a face appeared."Th..Those bastards.."She said horrified and pissed off as she noticed the Solar headband on the woman's head."They killed the whole village."She glared around att he body bags."Those are the villagers and the ninjas here....."

Kiba looked away when Sonta sliced open the bag,revealing the dead woman inside."Who..Who could do such a thing..?"He asked as his fisted clenched in anger."This is uncalled for."He growled quietly.

"You can say that again little ninja boy."A chillfully cheery girl's voice called from the shadows."I see you didn't die from that wound I inflicted on you before you 'killed' me dear sister."The voice chuckled.

"Kanna.."Sonta said under her breath angerly.

Shikamaru sighed as he turned and looked at the girl who spoke. "Ah so you're her....actually...." He didn't say anything...he was sure that wasn't Sonta's sister.... it was just something about her...

Sonta closed her eyes for a few minutes before opening them."There you are!"She growled throwing several kunai and shuriken in a direction.It was clear atleast one of the weapons made contact from the sound it made.

"Damn you woman."The voice sneered."You've been getting better since we last met."She finally chuckled as she stepped out of the shadows behind Kiba,quickly putting a kunai to his throat.She was almost a younger version of Sonta except she had short light green hair and bright lime green eyes.She wore all black with a sound headband tied around her forehead.

"What the..?!?"Kiba said stunned and pissed at not sensing her sooner.

"Damn you,You're suppose to be dead."Sonta said looking back at Kanna and Kiba."Let him go.This only concerns us."

"Not exactly big sister."Kanna chuckled."Lord Orochimaru want all of you dead by noon and he's sent me to do it.Along with a few others."She chuckled coldly.

Shikamaru shrank into the shadows sending a couple of clones to go tell tsunade as they hopped off into the shadows he sunk back further. Covering himself in shadows and more shadows. One this line that that was almost undetectable made it's way to the girl slowly as not to attract attention.

Kanna chuckled a bit as a few other sound ninja came out of their hiding spots,revealing the fact they had them surrounded as they entered the village."So,shadow boy wants to play hide-in-go-seek,huh?"SHe grabbed the back of Kiba's hood,holding him close with the blade even closer to his neck."Come out now or your little friend dies right now."She warned with a snicker.

'Damn,I knew I had a bad feeling about this whole thing.'She thought trying to figure out a way to get them out of this safely."I said let him go!"She demanded,glaring at Kanna,she had to keep her head leveled and try to get her with her guard down.

Shikamaru's shadows thickened as they pulled her hand away from Kiba's neck as they tried pulling her towards him. His eyes filled with anger and every bone in his body telling him to kill. Meenwhile his shadow clones made it to Kakashi's little sister Katima...Shikamaru's best friend... She had a demon in her that controlled three elements...Fire, water, and darkness. She started off going to save her best friend with her giant fox summon carrying her all the way.

"Hey,Tuya.You can show yourself anytime now.Lord Orochimaru didn't put you on the team to lounge about."Kanna called with a chuckled before she disappeared into a cloud of smoke,just a shadow clone of her."You think you can get the best of me?"Kanna asked with a cold chuckle behind Shikamaru as lights were turned on."I know all about you and your little shadow trick."She then pulled back both of Shikamaru's arms and pulled them back violently dislocating them from his shoulder joints.

Kiba looked back in time to watch Kanna dislocate Shikamaru's arms."You bitch!"He growled as he charged at her with Akamaru at him side now.Rage filled him at the sight of Shikamaru getting hurt.

"Not so fast little boy."Kanna laughed as she spun herself with Shikamaru and threw him right into kiba,sending them through a thin house wall."To easy."She snickered before looking at Sonta,who was fighting amongst several Sound ninja.

Katima arrived watching the scene unravel. "Someone likes to show off a bit to much." Her smirk was cold and yet a tad insane. "Why must you touch Shika-kun? Your fight is with that odd woman not him. Sides in all honesty I find this all idiotic and a waste of time."

Shikamaru looked up at Katima as he relocated his arms breathing in deeply each time. He looked up at her. "Your always trying to get in a fight." He said looking at Kiba to see if he was ok.
"This is pointless shika and you know it." she said as her body was surrounded by some sort of black mist. It looked like it was pissed itself in a way.

"Oh,look.Another Leaf ninja come to get killed as well?"Kanna chuckled looking over at Katima."This just gets better and better."She chuckled.

Kiba sat up cursing under his breath as he rubbed his head a bit before getting up to his feet."Are you alright?"He asked looking at Shikamaru."How'd you get here so fast,Katima?"He asked looking over at her.

Sonta quickly finished off the last three Sound ninja that attacked her and looked at Kanna."You know she's right."She said with a smirk as she started at her sister."This time I'll hit you dead on with it."She took in a deep breath before letting it out,making a few quick hand gestures,stretching out her left arm as lightening started swirling and crackling,it was her trademark jutsu:The Rasendgan/Chidori combination jutsu.If wielded wrong it could be deadly for both parties."It's finally perfected and there's no escape.Shikamaru,hold her still before she gets away!"She then held her elbow straight with her right hand as her chakra started to build.

Both shikamaru and Katima held her down as Katima shielded Kiba Shika and herself not knowing what the strrange woman was doing. "Daraar brought me." She sent to Kiba.

Kanna looked at Shikamaru then at Katima."You're both weak."She chuckled as her eyes let off a small green glow before quickly wiggling out of their grips and spinning quick,knocking them both away from her with a fist to each of their faces before she turned and charged at Sonta as she charged at her.

'One shot at this.'Sonta thought as they charged at each other now,the ground getting scorched by the chakra lightening coming off of her open palm."This time you won't live!"She said as her hand collided with Kanna's chest.Her facial expression told her everything right before Kanna puffed away."A clone.."Sonta gasped as a kunai dug deep into her back.She looked back,glaring at Kanna who looked up at her with a twisted smirk before she tore the kunai out of Sonta's back and pulled away."Damn you.."She growled as she held her left arm,it was slightly scorched from her finger tips to just above her elbow and it was hurting.

Kiba and Akamaru were both busy fighting off a pair of sound ninja who ambushed him back into the house he was slammed into.It wasn't much of a fight against them,the two ninja didn't come out of the shadows standing on their own two feet as Kiba and Akamaru walked out of the house."Looks like we're up,Akamaru."He said before he pulled out several shuriken as flung them flawlessly at Kanna,who wasn't able to dodge them all att he angles they curved in at her.

"Didn't you mother teach you not to play with sharp toys?"Kanna asked now behind him."To slow."She whispered in his ear as she brought the kunai up to his throat,again."Looks like your the unlucky one of this group,kiddo."She chuckled coldly."The unlucky ones always die first."She taunted.

Shikamaru was pissed now. He got up off the ground and brushed off the dirt watching the scene unravel.
Katima was mad...she walked over to shikamaru. "What should we do?"

(Sorry,I didn't realize I was doing that.It was just an idea I got in my head yesterday.)

Sonta straighten up with a false serious expression on her face.She saw something no one else did,it was Ritzu hiding in the shadows."You're not going to win this time,Kanna."She said before flexing her hand a bit,secretly signaling for Katima and Shikamaru to take either side of her."We're going to keep her distracted"She whispered quietly to them as she kept her eyes on Kanna.

Sighing Katima reached out her hands as fire and darkness started to wrap around her....the fired started to disapear and ice started to wrap around her....hard....
Shikamaru only nodded stretching out his arms like Katima as his shadows started to wrap slowly around her neck.
