I'm here, too! I usually am able to logon in the later evenings (8pm Pacific time) and most weekends, though this weekend I'm away again. (Decided not to buy the cello I thought I'd be buying, so I have to drive baaaack up to Portland from Los Angeles. It's suuuuch a loooong drive.)

Honestly, it would really help me if we had a posting order, and some structure as far as what events are happening. Bethany, can you sometimes post as a GodMod-type narrator, to keep things in some kind of order?

Actually, maybe I should just contribute a few of my own ideas:

1) arrival at Hogwarts: *really* getting to know each other's characters, perhaps setting up some rivalries and relationships. Reactions to the castle & its ghosts, and McGonnagall's speech about Sorting.

2) Sorting! I think it would be really cool if each character had a conversation with the Hat.

3) Dinner and bedtime, with more relationships/rivalries set up, amongst like-Housed characters.

:P Sorry if that's too many ideas. They're just suggestions to keep the RP a bit more structured.

Bethany, will you be doing dialogue for the teachers, or are they fair game for the rest of us? I kind of can't imagine the HP world without students taking classes.

I would whole-heartedly approve of a postponement. I'm graduating in a week, and I kind of need to get my ducks in a row.
