Th figure grabbed Jake's foot. "My name was Jacob night, and you stole my life!" He lifted Jake into the air and slammed him to the ground.

Niome looked outside her bedroom window to see the commotion. Fear struck her heart seeing the two fight. As much as she did not want to, she could not just leave the man out there. Quickly Niome went into her dresser drawer, pulling a revolver out and loading it before heading outside. "Leave him alone!" She said from her porch, holding the gun up. Quivering a bit from the thought of killing somebody. Niome quickly recognized the person as Jake. A newer person in town.

The figure turned and starred at Niome. "You shall suffer the most for the sins of your forefathers!" He let go of Jake and marched towards Niome.

Addessea has lived in the town for years, she isnt an only child, but has three younger siblings she's forced to watch after now since her parents reciently died of mysterious circumstances. She's odd and different, but has one of the best singing voices you could hear in a long, long time. She has no idea of what her predecessors did to Jacob. At all.

While all the action was going on, Addessea was at home, feeding her three younger 'kids' - Forever, Oblivion and Trance. Two of the three were boys, and Forever was a girl. As usual - Addessea had no knowledge of what was going on outside of the walls she was locked in.
She had no idea what happed in the past, nor did anyone mention it at all. At this point, the thing with her parents dying was more important.

Niome watched the figure. Stepping slowly inside of her kitchen while still holding the gun. "Leave me alone! I have done nothing to you!" She said to him. Lowering the gun a bit in hopes to maybe have some sort of peace offering.

"You shall suffer!" The figure picked up his chain and started swinging it.

Niome gasped as he started to swing it. Without even really thinking, she picked her gun up and shot towards his hand. Hoping to knock the chain from it.

The chain was knocked from the figures hand. But he still marched towards Niome.

Niome stayed where she was. Like a deer catching headlights. Though the pendent around her neck started to glow a bit. Not that she noticed. How could one see while the dead was walking towards them.

The figure reached out and grabbed Niome by the throat.

Niome froze once he did. She tried to breath in, but could not. "I am sorry on behave of my ancestor.." Niome choked out before collapsing in his arms.

The figure picked Niome up in his arms. He carried her back to the swamp.

Niome remained limp in his arms. Not even a dream crossed her mind. Niome was not dead, but instead just sleeping from the lack of air.

Katrina no longer felt safe. She decided to start moving. It was only a matter of time before the monster would come back for her. She was still crying. She had nowhere else to go. She continued to walk through the park in hopes of finding someone who could help her.

Addessea put the kids to bed and stepped outside to smoke. She enjoyed the cool air, the smell of the swamp near by. Sitting down, she put the ciarette in her mouth, she lit it up.

The figure arrived back in the swamp. He set Niome down on the ground.

Niome came to as she was set down. Though still dazed. She saw the being above her, and moved quickly. Still sitting in the spot he had left her in. "Wha- do you want with me?"

"I want to show you suffering" Roots emerged from the ground, gabbing Nimome's arms and legs.

Katrina had a bad feeling and somehow in her wondering she came across the swamp again. She began to cry when she noticed her teacher in trouble. She was terrified but knew she had to help her. Katrina had found a knife while in the park and she took it out and ran to Niome. The figure stood there. She quickly cut away the roots so Niome could escape.

The figure grabbed Niome by the hair and pulled her back. "You will know pain!"

Niome did not know what was going on. She saw Katrina and focused for a second. "Katrina! Get out of here. Please, go find Rochell and Tomas!" Niome pleaded as her hair was harshly yanked and was was pulled a bit. Niome reached up behind her and grabbed the man's wrist, letting off some of the pressure from her scalp.

Addessea looked toward the Swamp - hearing faint yelling. "The hell?" she asked, locking up the door and making her way to the very area she heard the yelling, making faces as she made her way through it, the cigarette -amazingly-still stuck in her lips.

Another root grabbed Niome's arm. "The two of you will suffer together!"

When the branch came up, she tried to pull away. Why was this even happening? Why not in the past when her relatives were alive??

For over a hundred years, I was a prisoner of the swamp. Now the same fate will befall you!" The roots started to pull Niome underground.
