"The single room, which I have here," Velo informed her, taking a bite of his pizza. "Mm." He arched an eyebrow when he noticed Zoya wasn't eating. "It's cheese on bread, with tomato sauce."

"Looks and almost smells disgusting. And I will deal with the single room - I will simply sleep on the floor." she offered, just stairing at him and the then the food with disgust then back to him. Zoya fidgited in the chair, her leg bouncing lightly as she sat. The energy drinks she slammed earlier were begining to wear off and it was taking everything she had not to fall asleep.

"Unless you want to go hungry, I'd suggest eating some of it," Velo muttered, seriously. "In this place, you'll be lucky to get any food at all unless I sneak it to you. This isn't a five-star restaurant...just deal with it."

"I'm good," she said slowly, her face portraying the emotion of not wanting to die from it. It looked like a poorly made grease ship on cardboard.

Velo shrugged and took another piece. "More for me, then. You're going to have to eat sometime." He nibbled on his new piece of pizza, then eyed her curiously. "Erm...since we're going to be stuck together for a while, why don't we get to know each other a little more?"

Zoya's dark eyes shot to him. "Ask away." she said, moving lightly in the chair. Random thoughts ran through her head and, being as paranoid as she was, it wasnt helping. Voices told her that he was going to kill her in the end, but she ignored them and focused on the blonde in front of her.

"Er..." Velo shrugged. "I guess I'll ask something, and you ask me something in return. I'll answer what I can. What's your favorite color?" It seemed like a simple, unnecessary question. But since this boy was so smart, it could have meant any number of different things. His seemed innocent enough on this, judging by the simple expression on his face.

Zoya knew not to fall for any of his innocent facads. A boy in her land could seem so innocent, and you'd let you guard down only to end up with a knife in your throat. It was one of the first things she was taught as a five year old. "Black. Yours?" she asked and stated simply at the same time.

"Electric blue. Real light, arctic blue. Love it. Black's all right, though." Velo paused, running things through in his mind. He didn't appear to be plotting, but he could put on a facade as well as any FBI agent here. "What about your favorite animal?"

Zoya thought. "A dog - specifically a Syberian Huskey. Yours?" she asked, keeping her eyes on him and not blinking at all. She was just that type of woman - she was observant and watchful.

"Cheetahs. African Cheetahs." Velo's eyes swam with affection. "I rescued an orphaned young cheetah in the wilderness the last time I was there--I was there for about four months. Nursed it back to health, and then when it was old enough to take care of itself, I let it go. Cheetahs belong in the wild, anyway..." He fell silent again. "Hum...favorite day of the week?"

Zoya listened to him intently, knowing how it felt... somewhat. But he could immediatly tell that he was a fan of cats... and not just any cat, bit kitties that could kill you with a single bite. Dangerious little things; Zoya's favorite type "Friday - I was born on that day." she answered simply, blinking lightly. "Favorite scent."

"Favorite scent, huh. I'd have to say the smell of burning wood, or strawberries. Both smell real nice..." Velo drifted off for a second or two into a world of his own...his memories. Then, he shook his head and grinned, amused. "Favorite author or poet."

"Too many too choose from. Favorite... ah, what's it called... Video game?" she asked hesitently as if she were to get it wrong. Zoya didnt think she did - but she was careful anyway. Zoya had one - Dead Space. It was fun, bloody, violent and she loved the overal story line and almost creepy-ness with a few of the moments.

Velo's expression seemed to light up.

"Oh, so many to choose from! Right now, my list includes Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed (One AND Two), Alan Wake, ALL Call Of Duty games, Darksiders, Modern Warfare, Prototype, Bayonetta, Hunting Games, Dead Space, Bioshock (One AND Two), Mortal Kombat, ALL Grand Theft Auto games, Little Big Planet, My Sims, Sims 3, Primal Prey, Sherlock Holmes games, Wolfquest, Wolf, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Scribblenauts, Pokemon (all of 'em), Yu-Gi-Oh, Legendary--"

Velo's list went on for quite a while. He ended it with a game called Dragon Quest, and bounced up and down on the balls of his feet. "That's a nice list. Okay, uuuuum...favorite flavor of ice cream!"

"French Vanilla, cotton candy, and chocolate chip cookie dough." she answered simply, but was impressed at the length of the list. How could one spend so much time on a GAME... but she couldnt talk. She didnt get off of Dead Space until she had beated it. Mortal Kombat was fun, she'd admit that, Final Fantasy bored her, Kingdom Hearts was fun but childish at the same time. Zoya shook her head, forcing herself to focus. "When I am getting out of these handcuffs?"

"I like rocky road and rainbow sherbet..." Velo had a blissful look on his face for a moment, and then he cleared his throat. "I guess when you tell me what they want you to tell me, or I can trust you. I don't know when we're getting out of here." He stared pointedly at the mirror on the other side of the wall. "You guys are indecisive prissies."

Zoya twitched. She wanted out of here. Now. Normally - she wasnt picky, but she wanted to be. "I'd like out now. I wish for a shower, coffee and a bed. That'd be heaven." she admitted, stairing pointedly at the mirror, as if she expected the key to just come floating over to her and she'd make a grand escape. But alas, that's not what was to happen.

One of the higher-ups behind the mirror stepped into the room to fetch Velo. They were gone for a few minutes, and then Velo returned, looking sheepish, with his hands behind his back. "They'll let you out of the room--but not the handcuffs, not yet--if...you let me put this on."

He pulled his arms out in front of him. In his hands was an ankle bracelet...much like a house arrest ankle bracelet. An alarm would go off and she would be shocked if she tried to escape. A warning alarm would also sound if she went near any guarded areas or areas with many weapons in them alone.

Zoya twitched more. Ultimatly, she decided that it was the best... at the moment. Unhappily, she lifted up her right leg and slammed it on the table. Zoya wouldnt help with the removal of her boots -if it was neccessary- and if it was - she wished them luck. Twitching more, she was still in the process of figuring out how to get out of this mess.

"Oh, relax," Velo huffed. He didn't bother with removing her boot. Instead, he half-tugged it down without bothering with the zippers and ties and then put the anklet on directly above it. It fit snugly. "At least you aren't down in Columbia with most of the other terrorists." He folded his arms across his chest once he was finished with the anklet. "Apparently, since torture is illegal here, they take people elsewhere. It's really quite terrible." He perked up once he heard the sound of the door unlocking.

Zoya wanted to run out that door and scream FREEDOM! But, again, alas - she knew it wouldnt work that way. Giving that up fairly quickly, she took a breath to cool the intense desire that suddenly overwhelmed her. She said nothing nor looked at anyone - keping her eyes on the door.

Velo reached out to gingerly touch her arm, and he led her through the door. The hallways were bland. Most of the important things, and information, were kept in rooms that were locked at all times, even when people were in there and there wasn't a sign of a threat. Velo quietly led her down a few hallways, and then stopped at one of the doors. It was his room--a small, but cozy, apartment-like room with its own small kitchen and bathroom. "Here you go."

Zoya tensed at the touch, not really wanting him to touch her. Bad memories came back of her allowing people to touch them... and end up in a fight not only for her life but whatever else was at steak at the moment. Zoya grit her teeth, shut the voices up for a few more minutes and pressed on, ignoring the effects from not having her medication. See - Zoya, by all the law's standards, should be in the nut house. MPD, voices that werent apart of the MPD, and just utter instability that came from where she was raised in. As soon as they got there, she looked around, quickly memorized everything and nodded lightly, not speaking anymore.

"You're probably tired," Velo hummed, settling down to rest in one of the bean bag chairs he had laying around in his room. "You can have the bed. Take a nap, if you want...I'll let you out of the handcuffs if you want to nap."
