"Um... I'd rather not wait to find out... Can you help me up?" Ookami asked softly as she looked down at her legs for a moment hoping they wouldn't cave just as they had when she was in the storm. She then looked back up at Rae hoping that didn't bother him to help her if she needed it...

Rae smiled at her, "sure." he said as he wrapped a arm around her gently. He then slowly brought her to her feet. "now tell me if you feel as if your going ot fall or if you feel any pain." he said as he looked at her. If she started to fall he would catch her and if she felt pain he would find the source of it and try to figure out how to stop it. He then let his arm fall from her so that she could stand on her own for a little bit.

Ookami gasped sloghtly after a moment of standing... After she had thought she would have been fine... She quickly grabbed back ahold of Rae's arm as her knees unexpectedly caved. 'Well feeling... That can't count when you have non can it?... I think... My knees are still frozen..." she said softly with a small pathetic laugh as she looked up at Rea sheepishly.

Rae looked at her worryed, "I think we will have to get them warmed up then." he said as he smiled. He then gently layed her down and went off. After a few seconds he came back with some deer skin and wrapped them around her legs. "deer fur will keep you very warm now so hopefully they will warm up her knees." he said as he looked into her eyes. He hoped taht her legs would warm up since it would be hard on her if they didn't.

"Thank you... I don't see how any part of me can still be frozen... My powers should have already taken care of that..." Ookami said softly as she grabbed the cover she had had on before Rae tried to help her up and wrapped it back around herself suprising herself by how cold she was. She laid her head back down and stared up at the ceiling for a while without diverting her gaze... Then she finally started blinking and looked at Rae softly still thinking though.

Rae looked at her, "maybe your powers are just weak from your ordeal." he said as thougth about this. He had no idea why her powers weren't working but hoped that they would come back. "hopefully your knees will be okay even thought your powers arent working." he said with a smile as he looked at her. He then wondered what she was thinking about since she was looking at him and the look on her face told him she was thinking.

Ookami blinked a few times angain as she turned her head so she was looking back at the ceilling and rubbed her face as she continued to think. "Hey... um Rae do you mind if I shift into my wolf form and see about my legs then? They might be okay in that form..." She said softly as she looked back to him still thinking slightly though waiting for his responce...

Rae nodded, "go ahead." he said as he looked at her and hoped that she was okay in that form. he wondered why her powers weren't working thought. He wondered if it was something dealing with the storm or that she was injured that badly. "hopefully your legs are okay in that form." he said as he smiled at her and really did want her legs to be okay.

Ookami took a small deep breath and her form dissapeared to only be hidden under the covers. "Eh... um... Need a little help here..." her voice was higher pitched now... Somewhat squeeky though she truly couldn't be seen... The only thing that could be seen from under the covers was a rather poofy wolf tail that twitched back and forth rather quickly as she squirmed being stuck in the deer skin.

Rae chuckled when he saw her squirm under hte covers. He then pulled hte deer skin off of her and smiled at hte wolf under it, "so how do your legs feel?" he asked as he smiled at her. He had to admit she looked cute in her wolf form and he wondered why no wolf from her fathers pack wanted to mate with her.

(Well she never said they didn't XD they'd just have to give a lot for her father to agry... Then there's the fact of her powers and the wolves are kinda scared of those XP )

Ookami sat up as he pulled away the deer skin and slowly stood taking a few steps then started walking a little bit though had a bit of a limp. "Much better." she said softly as she walked back over to sit on the blankets her wings sretching slightly then folding back to rest on her back as she looked up at Rae.

Rae smiled, "good." he said as he looked her over. She looked cute with her wings and he couldn't take his eyes off of her for a little while. He then finally looked away when he heard someone come in. It was Lily and Veronica coming back. Veronica came over to them and sighed, "I am sorry but we coudln't find your friend." she said as she looked at her. Lily nodded as she walked over. "we are very sorry." she said softly.

"It's okay... My brother probebly found her... if not you would have found... her... dead..." Ookami said softly and curled up on the covers using her wings to cover her up slightly. She seemed rather confident on her brother finding her friend though still seemed to be just a bit worried.

They both nodded and left quietly. Rae then looked at her, "lets just hope that your brother found her and not a bear or something." he said since he didn't want any of her friends to be hurt like that. He then took a blaket and used it to cover the her up since she had tryed to do that with her wings.

Ookami nodded softly as she curled up in the blanket some feeling a bit better now that she was in her wolf form and could move her legs normally. She of course both wanted to go home and didn't at the same time... she wanted to see if her friend was okay though knew if she even got close to the city her father would come to find her... so she didn't want to risk it.

Rae smiled at her and stayed guard but as he did he smelled the Alpha come in and growl. After a few minutes the alpha was at the cave enterence and looked at Rae. They both glared at each other since the alpha wanted the orb and the girl and Rae wanted to protect her. "rae step aside, she looks better now and I want her now." The alpha growled ant Rae stood up and stayed between him and her. "I am not going to, I promised to protect her and I will." Rae growled and the Alpha growled deeper, "you dare go against the alpha's wish." he said and you could tell he was about to attack, "yes I do." rae growled and The alpha lunged at him. Rae cought him and they started to right right there but it soon traveld outside.

Ookami had looked up when the alpha came in and sat up when the two started fighting and the fight was taken outside. Her ears sat back on her head as she stared at the entrance of the cave waiting for one of them to come back in praying it would be Rae. She was definitely scared of the alpha and had a bad sick sinking feeling he heard what she had said and knew she held the orb. She was shaking some as she continued to stare at the mouth of the cave praying quietly that whoever came in wouldn't be the alpha.

Lily and veronica walked over to her and sat down, "this is the first time they are fighting." lily said and you could hear the fear in her voice. They usually got alone and this never happend. Veronica nodded, "yeah, it is scary." she said and she whimpered when she hear yelps form outside. Soon you could see a figure headed inside. There was only one and just by the looks of it the person was hurt badly. But it was Rae who came in and was bleeding pretty badly.

Ookami felt even worse now knowing the two normally got along and knowing that the only reason the fight even got started was because she was there. She felt her heart stop for a moment when she saw the figure though relaxed slightly when she saw it was Rae... though he was hurt and bleeding badly. She looked at him for a long moment then looked at Lilly and Veronica.

Lily and Veronica ran over to him and wrapped a arm around him to support him. "we better go tend to your wounds." Lily said and they both started to take him to the back. But then rae said weakly, "Veronica stay with her, I am not sure if he will come back or not." he said and they nodded. Veronica went to Ookami side while LIly took Rae away to tend to him. "dont worry he will be okay." veronica said.

"I feel like this is all my fault." Ookami said softly as she shifted back into her normal form and looked after Rae and Lilly hoping Veronica was right. When she had shifted back the orb glowed for a split second then stopped and staying dark almost as though it were trying to hide without being hidden from the eye.

Veronica looked at her, "it would of happend sooner or later anyways so dont feel bad." she said as she looked at her. "ben is alph and Rae had the potental to be alpha. So Ben would of felt like he had to protect his title and changed Rae soon. So dont think it is completely your fault." she said and hten saw her collar flash and wondered what it was.

Ookami nodded as she listened to Veronica then looked out the mouth of the cave her hand sub-conciousely pulling up to grip around the orb lightly as she thought. She would do this almost every time she felt a little unconformable or upset in some way... She never thought it was noticeable that she did it...

Veronica looked at her, "dont worry, everything will be okay." she said and could tell she was upset by how she clutched her collar. Veronica smiled at her and then turned her head when she heard Lily coming. Lily came out from the back and smiled at the both of them. "Rae will be just fine. HIs owunds are minor and he should be up on his feet in no time." she said as she looked at htem adn hoped that it would make Ookami happy.

Ookami looked up to Veronica and nodded softly though kept her hand on the orb. She then soon looked up to see Lily and smiled a little at her words and nodded softly. She looked back out the mouth of the cave and thought quietly her fingers unknowingly fiddling with the orb as she thought.
