Alex scoffed at him "You can't just make me the general. People will talk. Make me a soldier, and let me earn it!" Alex replied before she stopped talking altogether. Arctic had pushed her down on the bed, and was taunting her by looking down from above at her. The very sight of him took her breath away and made her feel very warm and happy. She lifter her hips off of the bed and pushed against him. She loved the King so much. She pulled him down closer to her and linked her legs around his back before kissing him erotically.

Arctic smiled happily as he kissed her back and slowly leaned back and pulled her into his lap. He gently ran his hands over her body trying to memorize it. He just loved the way she fit into his body. "If that's what you want my love." he spoke the words against her soft lips as he played with them. The smile didn't leave his lips as he let his fingers play around in her hair.

They heard a knock on the door, their happy time was over, it was time to reenter the real world, but now together. "Let's go King." Alex said, standing and leaning out a hand toward the king so that he might pull himself to his feet. It was showtime afterall!

Arctic frowned and then glared at the door wishing that it would disappear. He took her hand and stood up with a bit of her help. He walked over to the door and found it was his friend. "Oh! This is great. You're up and about today. Good. Cause you have that meeti-" he stopped when he saw her. He smiled. "I told you that he needed you." he said before he turned and walked away. "Be there in five minutes." he told his king as he turned left down another hall.

Arctic sighed and looked back at her. "Would you like to join me?" he asked her.

"No, I have work of my own to do." Alex remarked as she began to walk out the door, leaving the King's grasp, "I have a job and an apartment on the outside of these walls I have to get back to."

Arctic pulled her in for a quick hug and pulled her shoulder of her sleeve down and gently marked it. "I cant let you leave if I haven't done that. I want to make sure if anyone slips your shirt off they'll see that you're loved by someone already." he said as he slipped on his shoes and then grabbed his coat and watched her wondering if she would give him one too.

"Wow. That was fucking creepy and possessive. We've just re met each other. Honestly." Alex said before pushing the King back and away from her and leaving the room in a hurry. It turns out this had all been a mistake.

Arctic looked down at his feet. He was just trying to be cute...not creepy....He went to the meeting but really wasn't paying attention. He didn't care for it anymore. He wished his brother would have taken the crown. Wait that was it. He would get sam to do this for a while and he would just leave. He needed a break and since it seemed like she didn't want to marry him he needed to find someone that would....He had to...he was creepy.

That day Alex returned to her own home, and looked around. Though it wasn't grand like the palace, it was where she belonged, it was comfortable and small, with all the things that made up her life. When she had thought about the King for as long as she could take she went to her bathroom to take a shower. She saw the mark that he had left still clear on her skin. This just made her so angry at him. She wanted to be with him, but she didn't want to marry him the very day that they reunited, and she certainly didn't want him branding her skin. She got in the shower to wash the day away, leaving thoughts of that stupid ruler behind.

Arctic laughed to himself as he thought about his plan freaking out the people in the meeting cause what they were talking about wasn't funny, and making a few others worry about his sanity. The meeting ended a few hours after that without to much of a distraction and then he went back to his room and stood on the window sill of his room and looked out at the country he owned. Why did this all have to cause him such pain and heartache. He sighed a bit as he leaned against the left side of the window and waved to a few people who seemed to worry about their king who seemed a little....stressed....or that's what they hoped.

Alex got out of her shower and dressed, deciding to go sit home and read a book. It had been an odd enough day already. Her book was very interesting and after only a few chapters she fell asleep. Dreams of the King danced at the edges of her consciousness.

Arctic ended up making the plans for his trip. He decided to let the others know since he was planing to go away for a month. He rested on his bed as he thought of what he could do. Maybe extend his kingdom further with agreements from the others. He let his mind go as he fell asleep.
