"It's alright," Lelouch answered. "If anything I believe you were a little harsh on beasts when you called her one." He looked around the bedchamber and had to admit that it was quite nice. The blues and creams were very calming and tasteful, not over the top, ahd from what he could tell the view from the balcony was stunning. He wouldn't be surprised if the whole kingdom was visible.
"So," Lelouch said. "What do you intend to do now, Your Highness? Hide in here until it is safe to venture out?" his tone was light and teasing and he was astonished with himself for being so informal with teh prince.

Rayne blushed and looked down. " well that was the plan." he muttered embarassedly. He always Hide when people who suited him came and stayed . His parents tried to get him to assoicate with them and atleast have dinner not hide away like some scared bird . Well he was scared and he liked birds so why not be a scared bird! Atleast he's a safe bird. " is it bad that I don't want to take a chance of running into her?" he asked looking up with those pretty gold eyes shining on lelouch . He wouldn't run from this male if he started courting him.

"It depends," Lelouch answered simply, taking off the heavy annoying cloak and setting to down on the floor before leaning against the wall and crossing his arms over his chest. "It depends on who you're hiding from and why you're hiding. If you're not comfortable around someone then the best thing is to either avoid that person or tell them to leave you alone. It's when they don't isten that things can get...complicated. Still, there comes a time when everyone has to stop running whether they want to or not."

He listened to his gaurds wisdom he was so smart. He smiled and watched him relax and get comfortable on the floor and he pulled his knees up hugging them cutely. He wasnt comfortable with most of the world he wasnt normal he hadnt been able to see for the beginning years of his life. " most people make me uncomfortable and then i dont feel okay around them but she doesnt seem to understand i dont like females let alone her , shes to obsessive and scary. " He muttered softly . " ive told her time and time but she wont take it seriously. " He added sighing. His pretty gold eyes lingering on lelouchs eyes for awhile it made his heart race .

"Well," Lelouch said, smirking slightly at the young prince. "If she won't listen and if you feel threatened by her advances then, as your knight, it is my duty to protect you and to ensure that no harm comes to you. If that includes dealing with her than I will be more than happy to." A small gleam came into his eyes at the thought. His ears pricked up and stood out from his head and his tail swished slightly behind him as he pushed himself away from the wall and walked towards the prince.

Rayne watched the male approach and blushed softly. " You would do that for me?" He asked softly he felt honored and hopeful of the girl gettign the picture if a wolf guy told her to stay away threngthen her maybe. He felt his heart beat race more as the male got close rand closer his eyes locked with the males.

Lelouch knelt before the prince and stared into the gold depths of the young heir's eyes.
"I would," he answered simply. "You are my prince and it is my duty to protect and look after you. I atke that duty very seriously and if I must ensure your safety by keeping this female away from you then so be it. You have my word as a Knight that I will not allow any harm to come to you if I can prevent it. This I swear to you, your Highness." Lelouch bowed his head to the young heir and his ears and tail lowered in a sign of submission, a sign that he accepted the young heir as his alpha and would obey any order given.

Rayne blinked at the male submitting to him and he smiled reaching out and petting the ears again . " Your really sweet lelouch ." He muttered and ran his fingers over the soft hair and fur . His head raced at hoiw the male looked so deep in his eyes before it was intoxicating being this close. " you dont have to bow it makes me feel weird."

"I bow before you because I wish to, not because I have to," Lelouch answered simply, continuing to stare into the young prince's eyes. "And as for me being sweet..." a smirk played accorss his pale lips and a gleam entered his eyes. "That only applies to certain people." He leaned into the prince's touch once again as he had done when they were alone in the gardens and enjoyed the feeling of the prince's slender hand running rhrough his hair and touching his ears.

The boys breath was hard to find as he looked back in those eyes. His eyes noting the smirk on the male lips it made him blush and looked away. He couldnt see thing far away but up close he could see everything . He could see how handsome lelouch was and how deep and mezmerisinfg his eyes were and he had to look away . He kept his hands petting the mael as he focused on brething and looking out the window. " What kind of people?" He asked about the sweet side of lelouch . Wanting to know why it was so hard to breath around him.

"Well..." Lelouch trailed off, considdering his answer. "So far I believe that you and possibly one other have seen it." He continued to smirk and watched as the prince's golden gaze moved from his own. His smirk grew slightly but he didn't say anything more, just enjoyed the feeling of the prince's hand running rhrough his hair and touching his ears. A sigh of contentment passed through his lips as a certain spot behind one ear was brushed by the prince and his head tilted ever so slightly more into the hand.

the young prince blushed at such a thing. Really him and one other only that was all. He looked at the wolf when the sigh was heard and he tilted more into the boys small hands . He blushed and his pretty eyes fell to half mass as he pleaned forward as he petted seeking his warmth he didnt know why he was but he couldnt help but kiss the males cheek and smile . " i feel honored then." He breathed.

Lelouch's eyes had closed a while ago but now they opened as he felt the press of the prince's lips against his cheek. He stared intently into the half open golden eyes, searching for something. He wasn't sure exactly what he was searching for though. There was something inside him urging him to look though, something that was telling him that he needed to find something within the prince's gaze.
"It is I who should be honoured," Lelouch replied simply. "I am honoured to be the one chosen to keep you safe."

the young prince blushed at the way he said it and those eyes that trapped his own. His golden eyes filled with compassion and love for this wolf already . He didnt know you could fall so fast and hard for someone. God even if it was frowned apon he was in love with a male a animal man a wolf his knight .. what a princess always though of a night in shining armor ..

"Am I really that facinating to look at?" Lelouch asked, amused despite himself as the prince continued to stare at him. He could not resist teasing the young heir. He would not normally do such a thing but it was really quite hard not to, especially when the prince's cheeks were dusted with red from the blood as the prince blushed. Yes, teasing the young heir was definitely far too easy.

Rayne blushed alittle more finally looking away the teasing made his heart race like a rabbit chased by a bobcat. " I dont know ." he mumbled cutely and glanced out the window when he noticed birds flying by . How he wished he could fly away from here he hated being kept in the castle like a caged canary. He didnt even sing like one anymore , yes there were times he was happy like earlier in the garden he rarely got them anymore. His eyes clouded more then normal when he turned his sight off of zoned out. " Your eyes are mezmerizing though." He added after zoning back in the birds far out of his sight range.

Lelouch noticed the prince's eyes drift elsewhere and noticed the birds. He resisted the temptation to snort to himself. That would be rather rude. He didn't like birds much. Perhaps it was the wolf in him but he just didn't like them at all. Either that or it was because of the encounter he had had with the eagle when he was younger.
"They are?" Lelouch asked, turning from his thoughts as he heard the prince speak again. Well taht was news to him. As far as he was concerned his eyes were perfectly normal and so he told the prince so.
"There is nothing special about my eyes," he stated simply.

Rayne blinked turning his pretty eyes back onto lelouch. " that's not true your eyes are such a pretty color ." he stated and reached out touching the males cheek with his small hands . " I've never seen any one with purple eyes before not even adorn had such an uncommon eye color." he blushed softly as he spike not realising how close he was to the male. " and your eyes are special you can see in the dark right and you can see things faraway to! I can barely see things up close properly so that makes your eyes really special." he never heard himself talk so much or even without being embarassed or told he was out of term . His heart raced as he spoke or was it because he could smell lelouched dark and warm intoxicating scent.

"An eagle's eyes are far sharper than mine," Lelouch pointed out. "And I am not the only one able to see in the dark. Most large cat type hybrids also have the ability. I am nothing special."
He was telling the prince the honest truth. He had seen hybrids with much greater sight than he posessed. As for the colour of his eyes...he hardly ever looked in a mirror so he never saw them that often. He was not taht interested in his appearance. He was told that he looked very regal in his outfit, especially with the cape, but he couldn't careless about such things. All he really cared about was his duty and that was all.

Rayne sighed and tried not to laugh. " im complimenting you lelouch dont be such a downer. plus ive never met an eagle or a real cat only a lion man but he passed a few days ago . Anyway you still have better sight then me , i can barely see the wall over there." He gestured to right acrossed from them . " Some days i cant see anything at all." he added he should for warn him about that he guessed . " and you are special you make me happy not many can do that . well living people anyway." He leaned forward resting his forehead against tthe males shoulder he was so warm god why were all hybrids so warm like personal heaters!

"Do I have to explain about the boosted senses or your ability to judge people's characters?" Lelouch asked, amused again. "And be that as it may it does not make my words any less truthful." He felt the prince lean against him and unconciously he accepted the additional weight, little as it was, and adjusted his position to accomodate for taht. He glanced out the window before quickly making a snap decision. He reached around, gently grabbed the prince and lifted him into the air. He was accross the room in a few strides and he was setting the prince on the bed after having pulled back the covers. He had seen from the sky that it was nearing night fall and, as the prince had no wish to leave the room and it was getting late, they had both get some sleep.
"Do you wish me to go to the kitchens to fetch you something?" Lelouch asked, tilting his head slightly as he waited for the prince's response.

Raynes eyes widened when picked up and a small eep formed . He blushed as he was was carrried to the bed of course bad things passed through his mind from things he had seen and heard throughtout his life . He watched the male tuck him in after setting him down and he relaxed more he was so tired today . Being happy took alot out of the usually sad and lonely prince. He shook his head. " im good " He muttered . " If you get hungry you can go down there whenever you want to eat and such ." He added incase the male was hungry or thirsty he didnt eat alot , or he ate very lightly like the bird he was. He couldnt wait to let lelouch meet his tutor a very creepy man handsome but like the girl he had a thing for the boy who he called My dove ... creepier not even kaiden had liked the man but he was the best tutor in this land or the next.
The boy soon was asleep his chest raising and falling slowly and not a peep came from him as he slept cuddling his pillow.

"I will return to my own room," Lelouch told the prince before he fell asleep. "I am just in the room next to yours in case you need antyhing. Do not hesitate to come to me if there is something troubling you."
He waited until the prince had fallen asleep before he exited the room, closing the door carefully behind before he made his way down to the kitchens and was able to get himself a late dinner. Most of the residents in the castle ahd eaten by now but some of the servants were just receiving their meals and, as he entered, Lelouch was able to get some bread, cheese, meat and a small glass of water. That was more than enough and he quickly ate his meal before returning to upstairs and entering his own room.
His posessions had been moved and sat neatly on his bed. He began to unpack the small bags and placed his belongings into the drawers provided before removing the formal garb and changing into his night clothes. He slid under the covers, closed his eyes and fell into a light sleep, his ears always pricked for any sign of danger.

Rayne slept through most of the night till he sat up and looked around. He didnt understand why he had a bad feeling but he did and chewed his lip. Probably from having a bad dream and he blushed as he got up dugging off royal attire and pulling on more comfortable silky pajamas and causiously went to lelouchs room. He made sure he didnt make a sound as he shut his door and slipped into the others. His heart pounding with the fear of what could be hudden in the dark he could see into. He walked up to the bed and looked at the wolf wondering if hed let him sleep in here. He hadnt been able to sleep in dads room since he remarried.

Lelouch was woken by the sound of his door opening. He could tell that whoever it was they were doing their best to be quiet. He'd heard a door open earlier but he was usnure who it was right now. He didn't open his eyes, just allowed whoever it was to continue to think that he was askeep. As they stepped closer he began to inhale their scent as subtly as he could. He was surprised to note that it was the prince's scent. Was something wrong? The prince was now beside his bed and as thoughts raced through his head he lay still for a moment, debating with himself, before finally opening his eyes and meeting the prince's gaze in the dark room.
