I really, really love Tokio Hotel. One of my friends got me into them. One of my favorites of theirs is Scream...I also really like 'Final Day'.
I'm trying to listen to more of their German songs, but not knowing an ounce of German, it's hard to know what songs to look for...

I'd love to learn German just so I can truly appreciate them and not just be stuck with their american songs and just a few German ones. ):

Okay. I've been sitting here for five hours drawing and just listening to Tokio hotel. All of the songs never get old. Never. I'm so in love with the music, i'm considering marrying it. I Just can't wait to see the band live. I would pay $500 for a backstage pass, i don't care how much it costs. It's soo worth it. <3

I listen to Tokio Hotel a lot, but am NOT an avid fangirl. I agree that their song "Durch Du Monsoon" was pretty good, but only in German.

Does no one know about their new album....? It definitely surpasses Their old one. They have all grown, and the music is just better as a whole.

I kind of like Tokio Hotel, but they're not my favorite band.

Well, here I go!

1. How did you become a fan?

Well, I first heard about them in 2007 as a high school junior. I thought they were a J-Pop band, though, and having never been a fan of Japanese music, I just kind of ignored them. In 2008, I found out they were German, but I kind of forgot about them anyway. It didn't really matter to me. Then in mid-2009, I met some people online who were really into Tokio Hotel. Annoyed, I went onto YouTube and listened to "An Deiner Seite (Ich Bin Da)," then listened to "Spring Nicht" and "Don't Jump." I kind of thought the band was okay, but I didn't think they were OMG good. But after having "Spring Nicht" and "Don't Jump" stuck in my head at the exact same time for two days, I went and purchased Scream. It was love. xD

2. What's your favorite song(s)?

"Wir Schliessen Uns Ein." I found it via YouTube and have loved it since the first listen. It's this really calm song, but there is such an edge to it.

3. What's your favorite album?

I haven't stopped listening to Zimmer 483 Since I got it in January. I have a passion for each album I possess, though, so I don't think I can choose. (I will some day own you, Schrei! *waves fist in air*)

4. What do you think of Tokio Hotel's "new" sound in Humanoid?

I really like it. I think it shows a lot of growth. I know a lot of fans who were disappointed with it, and to be honest, it wasn't as spectacular as I had imagined (I, for whatever reason, thought it was going to be American Idiot-epic.), but it's different. I think it's more personal and mature than the past albums. That's not to say they weren't great, but I just really like the change.

5. Have you ever seen or do you plan to see them in concert?

I have never seen them before, but a friend and I are saving change in a jar in order to go. xD Currently, we have over $200, with another generous donation being made by my mother at some point this year. Otherwise, all of the money came from change from purchases we've made or change we just found. We're going to hopefully go to LA to meet some other Tokio Hotel fans. It's going to be a blast!

Someone on a forum was talking about them and posting pics. I thought Bill had cool style so I downloaded a few songs to see if the music matched. And it did lol.

Monsoon, Instant Karma, Scream, The Edge, World Behind My Wall.

Don't know. I haven't been able to buy any yet.

I don't own it yet so I can't really say.

Nope and I probably wouldn't. Not really a concert goer.

I had a friend who started obsessing over the band (especially Bill's hair) and so I gave them a listen and thought they were pretty good.

I love the German Version of "Don't Jump" and a lot of their stuff from Devilish

I like the song "Automatic," but I definitely preferred the music from their last CD

I haven't seen them in concert, and I don't plan on going unless they come closer to my area than NYC or if I get a free ticket ^^;
