I've never had a cactus, though I'm sure I'd probably kill it as well. I can't have flowers though. My cat eats them. :cry:

I know how that is, Jeanie. Balloons, flowers, stuff like that can't be kept, cause the cats will eat them all.

Though, for some reason, we have a plant that has survived from last year, even though my mom hardly waters it, and the cats love to eat the leaves.

@ Wendy: I think Mayor Lucien has even said himself that he's used to being called so many different names, that it doesn't bother him.

Funniest true story I have about a cactus...Err sorta about a cactus.
In botomy class a fellow student was overheard saying they didn't like a cactus, because they don't flower. So oo...funny I remember it to this day.

Personally... I think I'd rather find someone on a gaming site than say, at a bar or club. At least then I'd know we had something in common. *shrugs* It's worked well for my mother-in-law & step-father-in-law. At least... in meeting online somewhere where they both liked the games or something. *forgets where now exactly but it's really not important*

I just wish I could do more clubs. Going to clubs I'd like takes so much driving.

My clubs are basically:
- Hiking club.
- Fishkeeping club.
- Untiarian ( well it's more the equivilent of a church then a club).
- Veg*n club. I try hardest when I go to a veg*n meet because I want a veg*n date.
- Would love, love an arts club, but nothing like that exists. Being an artist is too much of a niche profession.
