I'm not anti abortion! The stage they are able to tell you a baby has issues like you are talking about is far far far too late on!

Iunno. My opinion on this largely depends on what they considered "disabled enough" to quality a woman for a late-term abortion.

They bend the rules for a baby in uterine with 'abnormalities' most of the babies born at the stages they still allow people to abort the baby has a high chance of living :/.. Also if baby was without issued they'd never have terminated anyway so why does because what a doctor says might be the out come then make it OK :(, I'm sorry I guess it just hits me on a personal level.

when i think of abortion i cannot keep morality and religion out of my thoughts. but i do, in spite of that, believe it's up to each woman. especially where health is in jeopardy. i disapprove of abortion as a form of 'birth control' i'm not sure how i feel about the morning after pill. i suppose it's better than abortion. even though that is basically what it is.

@ BBE - The important thing here is- What KIND of abnormalities? If they're severe enough, and the abortion won't harm the other, then I think the mother should have the option to terminate her pregnancy.
@ Hums - As long as you understand that how you feel on a religious and moral level is not what should be imposed on other women, then power to you. I respect your views as you respect mine.
No, the morning after pill is not the same as an abortion. It ONLY works if a fetus has not yet formed- If it has, then its too late, and the pill does nothing.

I think the morning after pill is OK in my opinion.. I fell pregnant with twins when my 3rd child was 6months old.. I wouldn't of ever considered termination but the pregnancy wasn't successful.

I know one woman a family member of my friend who was 28 weeks pregnant when they found out their baby had downs syndrome.. She terminated...

i'm sure it does, Bbe. i think if the baby doesn't terminate naturally it's supposed to be born. i do prefer giving the baby up for adoption. but this abandonment issue make me sick. like i would not do that to a dog or a bunch of puppies. my dad says i;m a bleeding heart, maybe. but i feel ever life is important sorry this got so intense. i just love how that father love his son unconditionally. he's a beautiful boy and i hope he has a wonderful life

i wouldn't be able to take it, personally. maybe if, God forbid, a rape had occured. but who know what one would do until you walk in those shoes, right.
i'm sorry your lost your twins. but wow, five kiddos all under four.

I know lol sillyness on my part but I was very much 'I made my bed imma lay in it' I thought it was only one baby though.. Until I had some bleeding at 8weeks and I got an emergency ultrasound and there was 2 babies on the screen ... I was terrified but the pregnancy naturally ended. I just think fate and what's meant to be will be.
