Today is a lazy day for me as well. Doing some laundry at a friend's house, watching movies and trying not to melt in the heat.
Emma, there will be other items available for raffle at the end of the three weeks. Got some nifty items...well I think they are nifty.
Had a good burger from a kosher deli sit down place. The meat was tender and soft, melted in the mouth. Tasty tasty.

I look forward to them! :D
I have a lot of the MCs, though, and I'd hate to enter the raffle (and possibly get the item) when I already have it, ya know?
Kinda defeats the purpose of the raffle lol!
Though - I will say - your raffle got me on the kick of snapping up some cheap items from the MP to put towards a possible charity :3
Honestly tempted to just put my quest on the side and work up some funds for a charity, ya know?
Like, whatever I make gold-wise put half for the charity, half for the quest :3
Only thing is, I'm not on Mene much so I wouldn't even start the charity in the near future xD;
So, I'm not really sure if it's pointless to start working up an inventory for a charity or if I just keep to the questing instead lol
What are your thoughts?

Not sure...perhaps staying with the quest is the best idea for now...but you can tuck away items for future endeavors of charity.
That's what I did for a few years before doing the giveaway.

Thing is, I really have nothing to quest for that isn't MIA completely, or beyond ridiculously expensive to the point where I refuse to pay it lol
(ex. 10-20k for the Century Scythe)
So it's kind of just mindless saving at the moment since it's mainly 2007 V-Day & St. Patty's Day EIs I have left, ya know?
It's kind of a catch 22 lol
I save, basically kind of do nothing on the site, and wait for items to come up~
Or,
I half save/half spend, have less for when/if the items pop up, and work towards starting up a charity lol
Ah well - who knows haha
I guess I'll just see how this semester goes first, with work and college - and see how much time I have to Mene and then go from there :3
Seems to be the easiest/only thing to do at this point haha
So what're you up to? :)

Hanging with my friend and her family. Rodd and I had not much else going on today. Did donate platletts, but had a strange reaction to the machine they use and the process they perform for the collection. Feeling a bit off.
Thinking tonight will be off to bed early since I have had late nights and early mornings all weekend. Sucks. Feels like the weekend went by way too quickly. Thankfully next weekend is a three day weekend. Having a monday off will be nice and relaxing.

I hope you feel better hun! <3
Yay!
Days off are always a plus <3
I know what you mean though - I haven't been able to get to bed until like, 5-6am - even though I go to bed around 1am :/
When I sleep it's restless, and when I wake up I'm exhausted -- it's not been a good week for me lol
It sucks - but I'm starting to get used to it lol
After all, I still have my college classes, don't I? :P

Sometimes we just need that one thing to hold onto our sanity. Been having a rough week, dealing with idiots at work, missing my parents and adjusting to the heat. The people here are very standoffish and I am not sure if it has to do with the fact that I am from California and lots of people in Arizona blame Californians for coming into the state and ruining the housing market. Seems that the property values were lower here so people bought them as investment property or even a second home and then the housing market fell out causing lots of divisions to become empty. Plus it made it very hard for people to get houses at a decent price.
Don't really know a lot of people at work because they don't really talk to each other. There is very minimal interaction with each other. Not that I am not a huge social butterfly, but it would be nice to know a little something about the people around you.
Rodd and I were over at my parent's house on the weekends, watching football with them, going swimming, shopping or just having dinner, so it's hard to not have them around all the time. This is the furthest that I have ever lived from them. Having my husband does help with the transition, as does my friend Karen and her famiy. Still kind of depressing. Just takes a little time to adjust is all. *sighs*
Menewsha helps too...being able to talk to everyone here. Gives me some sense of stability.

I hate people who do that - it's like low income housing in NYC - the rent can't increase so the people who own them discriminate who they'll rent to and they leave the buildings like trash. It's just ridiculous how people get when it comes to real estate and money >.>
When people let houses go to ruin and turn into sites for rapists and murderers, instead of keeping them up and either selling or renting the houses, it's no better than the jerks to run low income housing like the one I just mentioned :/
I can completely understand -- I moved only about 30 minutes or so from home and I was constantly coming home for periods of time or on the weekends lol
I'm really close with my Mom, so it was really hard on both of us when we couldn't just yell down the hall to get each others attention or walk down the hall to talk lol
Even that was a big adjustment - so I can only imagine how it's going for you :(
I really hope it gets better hun!! <3
Haha At least you know you can always depend on us to be here no matter where you move to ;) <3

Hate to say it this way, but it's the truth in my eyes and my husband agrees, that of my sisters I am the favored child. Probably because I am the most stable and any money that has been borrowed has been returned...for the most part. Money for school doesn't count, according to them. That gets paid back when it can.
My older sister and younger sister tend to borrow money and can't always pay it back. Money for bills and living because they over extend themselves, or don't save for the future. The older sister made a bad decision in regards to a boyfriend and lost a grip of money. But that was her bad choice and my parents had to help pay for it. The younger sister just has issues with making a budget and sticking to it. Right now she is back to living with the parents because she has issues with roommates and hasn't found a place she can live for more than a month. It's kind of sad really.
My mom and I would go out for walks and talk about things going on and making plans for trips in the future, or where to go to dinner that weekend. Dad and I had this thing about walking out onto the 4th hole and would play the 4th hole until someone came along and then we'd get out of the way and watch the other people. Had a nice little routine, kind of missing that right now.
Very true. The people here are a nice steady constant for me right now. Glad that I have you here as well Emma. Life would be dull without you.

Aww - thankies hun! <3
-snuggleluffs- <3
Same goes for you! It's really nice knowing you have someone who will listen and who you can talk to without them getting wrong impressions or whatever - it's really nice having that sincerity and reliability, ya know? :)
Don't get that very often!!

Not much is new, Ze. Same shit, just a different toilet, ya know.
Emma, sincerity and honesty are hard to come by these days it seems.
My parents love and support me in my decisions, even though one of those choices was moving here, but they fully understand that we need to be able to survive.
Work is offering all kinds of overtime right now and I am taking advantage of it big time. I have 9.5 hours already for the week and I am going in early tomorrow to rack up even more hours. Going to need the money since the payroll department has decided to deduct extra money from our checks since they failed to do so for the past 2 months, or 4 checks. They are being courteous though by spreading the repayment out in 8 checks instead of 4. Makes life a little less stressful for me.
All right, time for a shower and then crawling into bed. Gotta get up butt early, before the sun rises. I shall talk with everyone later. Hopefully more people will enter in the raffle.

@Mole: Not much really - trying to survive my Microeconomics class and wonder how in the world I'm going to LOL
Oo - a party sounds fun!!
Sad that your friend is leaving though :(
@Andais: I know right?
And usually when you think you find it - it blows up in your face lol
I've had that happen more than once recently xD;
That's always a good thing :3
I have very few people supporting me here, so it's definitely something to be cherished and to respect - I know I've come to think of it that way :3
Yikes!
At least they're not taking it all out at once and are spreading it out - that's definitely a caring company, so to speak :3
I bet if it were my previous employer they would have taken it all out of my checks at once xD;
Night night hun!
Talk to you later! :D
Sorry I haven't been on much the past couple of days :gonk:
Trying to get all of my work for this week done now because Thursday I'll be gone all day for doc. appointments, and Friday I'll be in the city all day shopping with my Mom and brother (who needs school clothes) :3
I'm really hoping my 2 Wii games come in tomorrow thoughhh!
They so could be delivered tomorrow, but they'll probably be held over in the city all day tomorrow and not delivered until 9/1 because that's the day Amazon said it would be delivered >.>
(they did that before to me, held 2 packages until the day it was supposed to be delivered, which was like, a day or two after they arrived at the post office)
I'm really excited to play the Epic Mickey game ('cause it reminds me so much of Kingdom Hearts) as well as the Toy Story 3 game because it's so reminiscent of the Sega Genesis Toy Story game <3
-so excited-

Emma - Aw, I love microecon. I'm an economics major, so maybe I could give you some tips? :D
And yeah, the party was a blast, but it's sad to have to say goodbye. At least it's not for good - she's going back to Spain, but she said she'd come visit us before I go home to the USA in December. :]

I'll pass it, the instructors just a jerk and her assignments are seriously ridiculous and limiting lol
-seriously LOATHES economics-
I honestly can't stand it XD;
I have to take Micro and Macro, though, for my finance degree, so I'm stuck no matter what :(
I'll get through enough to pass, just like I did Intro to Econ - but that's about it :P
As long as I get in the 2s I'll be happy xD;
If I ever get seriously stuck, though, you'll be the first one I message :)

Oh yeah, I told her she's welcome to crash at my place, so it will hopefully be a sweet reunion... on my couch. XD
Ah, I had to do the same with accounting. I had to pass accounting 1 and 2 before I could declare my econ major. I actually started off thinking I would do accounting or business administration, but accounting is from hell, and after a macroecon class, I was really excited about it and changed all my plans. 8D
So finance, eh? You are my opposite. XD
And you're welcome to message me anytime with questions - just know that I'm in Germany [six hours ahead of EST], so do your homework early in the day in case you need to message me. xD;;

Annalesia, get here when you can. We all understand about school and the time it takes away from having fun.
Ze, Germany you say? Whereabouts? Had a German exchange student for a year when I was a sophomore in High school. Christian and I would fight and rib each other like brother and sister. We were off the chain, capping on each other and having a grand ol' time. He's been back to the states a few times, mostly for school. His last time here was for 12 months on a mathematics scholarship from San Diego State University. Christian is beyond brilliant with the math stuffs. Algebra was enough for me.
The husband does math real well and my mom is in accounting. I can remember numbers really well, but calculus and physics...they are not my forte at all!
Emma, no worries about being here all the time. Appreciate whatever you can spare. Shopping sounds like fun, even if it's for your brother. Been thinking I am going to start getting mom and dad's Christmas gift together now. Found a couple of big picture frames that are perfect for making a family collage. Mom really likes that kind of stuff.
And now it's time for me to hit the hay. 12 and half hours is a loooooonnnng day. *dies*

I'm staying in Mannheim - it's between Frankfurt and Stuttgart, in case you know where that is. We had a lot of German exchange students come to our high school as well, though I wasn't allowed to host them [no room in the house], so I didn't get too close to anyone.
I love German people though - they're so friendly and courteous. <3
Unless you host them and they become like siblings, apparently. XDDD

Roz, by all means, the raffle is still open. It will be open until September 9th.
Ze, Germans are wonderfully awesome people. My great grandmother was an immigrant to the US just before world war 2 broke out. She stopped talking german when the US entered the war.
Christian and I still talk via yahoo messenger and e-mail. Still ragging on each other too. Very harsh things, but funny at the same time. Very envious of their public transportation though.
I hit upon the perfect gift for mom! Christmas gift that is...a beautiful picture frame that is a large collage of photos. Now to find the family photos I want to put in the frame. Deciding if my sisters deserve to be included in the "family" portrait selection. They both have the potential to piss me off to no end.

Well, the majority is for him -- I was just tagging along to see if I could get some manga deals :3
Buttt - I decided not to go because I seriously need time away from him - he's so mouthy and condescending and just absolutely ridiculously wretched that I just can't stand him anymore and would seriously punch him if I were in the car for 3 hours with him each way :/
Sooooo I'm staying home and giving Mom a list of manga to see if she can find :3
Haha I bet!
Sounds like the nearly 24 hour day I had the other day xD;
Had to stay up in order to try and get my sleep schedule back on track :3
Hopefully it worked!!
