I always worry when I hear the neighbor screaming at her kids. they are both under 2 and can't have done anything to deserve getting screamed in the fast at nearly daily. you know, I can be under the most stress of my life (and trust me, I have for the last 6 months) and I would never have dreamed of taking it out on my son like that!

I'm afraid to. all my trouble this year was because of CPS. and for all I hear her yelling, I never hear the kids crying. I can't even really make out what she's yelling.

in other news, our snow is melting.

Oh dear. I dread the snow melting here. I just know that it's gping to freeze over, and I'm going to take one step outside, and then slip and fall on my behind. Ice and my lack of grace so does not mix.

my dad was taking my mom out for dinner the other night. mom went to step up on the side rail and it was sheer ice. so she began to fall and there was a car screaming down their road and MUCH more than the 25 MPH posted and she had to, while her ankle was throbbing, roll UNDER the truck to avoid being run over! she went to the doctor today and said it was just a really really really really bad sprain and he put a boot on her!

meanwhile, this morning, my dad whined at her as she was heading to the doc today for the x-rays about how when he went to the door to let the dogs out her mop fell off the wall peg and almost hit him in the eye.

I love taocs <3 My grandma lives in a home, but it's a small one run by this lady- so it has a homey feel to it, not so much like a hosptial/old folks home. Every once in a while my mom picks her up and she watches a movie with us and eats dinner. She was here yesterday and today. That's the main reason for us all sitting down together and eating.
