If you read the front page you can see how you can get some free items here while saving up your :gold: to put torwads an item you would really like. Additionally, your signature is a little slice of awesome if I say so myself. The site is in the middle of an event right now so things are more chaotic than usual. If you have any questions at all, we're here for you!

dessertdesiert: There's nothing that says YOU can't give the item to a good friend, or even re-sell the item in the marketplace, or perhaps give it to somebody who is perhaps questing the item. Free is always good, and the item was determined by the roll of the dice. If you've been around for a while the higher the chances are you will get a double of something, but that doesn't mean that it has to be useless to you.

Paranoid Doll: You see, that is going to be my argument in my Site Feedback thread. Right now I'm glad that menewsha is finally doing more to help new users in terms of clothing. There is a shop that is selling a few items for very low affordable prices. However, with my system you learn to post, you learn that longer posts earn you more gold, you learn to read the front page, you learn to REALLY read the front page (you'd be surprised how many times I've had to decline an application for being incomplete for not containing the key phrase even when I tell them they might need to re-read the RULES for SOMETHING IMPORTANT that might be in RED), they learn to PM comfortably, and they can get questions answered in an environment with minimal anxiety of 'feeling stupid'. By going 'click, click, CLOTHES!'... all of that is lost =/

the one thing i found bad beginning menewsha is that
after they let you set up your account, there's no real
'walk through' to the site, so, you're not sure if you
should go here or there… i just came to the charities

@ dessertdesiert- HurriCon is a "new" Anime convention in Miami. :) It was the first HurriCon ever, so I went. :D I hope they have it again next year. ^_^; It was fun, but they need more vendors though. :S

It will happen in time... My college had an anime convention, but I did not go to it because I forgot about it.... :(

I only been to one other official con and that was YasumiCon, they use to have it at a University. Now it is no longer a con anymore. :( I been to "cons" at public libraries located in the county above me. Unfortunately that county's library system no longer has cons. :(

Yeah but my friends that go to cons usually go to the ones far away and I can't go to one that is so far away I want to go to one that is closer by.

just tell your friends that you want to go to a con, but don't
want to travel so far~ i'm sure they'll understand. o u o

and unless you live near a big city, for all of the offical cons,
you'll probably have to do some travelling. o n o

but yeah, give it a shot~ and if you have some really good
friends, just make them stay with you and go to a con that
is at least closer~

@ Paranoid Doll- Hm... Are they not appealing to you? Also I heard of Yaoi-Con but never been to the west coast. I would go, but I am more into Shounen-Ai though. :) The hardcore stuff isn't for more, although I like the story lines. :-X

@ dessertdesiert- Usually at most events I try to get a spare set or two to give to random charities. This one is one of them. This time the event was a short notice one. That's up to you though. ^_^; Those eggs are going to be super rare from what I can tell. :shock:
