nope the app is completely free. and it even has some free pedometer app you can hook up to it. which i can't get cause i have a tablet that doesn't have the bounce technology or whatever it is that's needed to track steps.??

the app lets you just scan the barcodes of the foods. you can even make your own recipies and input them. not everything is perfect of course. But they're close enough that it's a wonderful guide :D
