Going by Mene's twitter, it seems the Celes Paradi event will be starting soon. Is anyone planning on opening a thread for the hangout during the event?

I did not know Mene had a Twitter. I would have signed up for it. D= I'll go look for that now

Oh well, Mene making Mene cash just makes me sad and I'll probably be quitting the site. Real money for site cash just makes participation worthless and is a bit of a slap in the face for longtime members. (Which is different than putting out monthly collectibles or offering real world items for real world cash like t-shirts, etc.)

Anyway, I probably won't make a quitting thread or anything, but just won't show up anymore. I was going to wait until after the Halloween event (It would be easy to see if the site is going to suck by then) but I might not wait that long after all.

I know the Mennies are weird, but really they're just for getting the CI's.
Well, right now, anyways. I don't think this place is going to turn into a money hog like Gaia.

on my side I find the mennies a little bit useless, cause I wouldnt pay for clothes in the stores with real money, only for collectibles :D

I kinda think the Mennies make sense.

Like, in the explaination post, jelly (I believe it was her) explained it to almost be like a savings. Like, maybe one month, you could only afford to give $5 to Menewsha, but another month, you can do $20. So, you can do that, and then you can spend the Mennies whenever you want, not having to spend them all on that collectible that month, if you happen to not like it.

either way, I cant buy any!! I wish they could add like pre paid credit card THEN I could buy my own collectibles each month :)

yeah I used to buy with paypal but it takes like 1 week to get money on paypal since I live in Canada -.-

and we finally got pre paid credit cards here so, it would be awesome if we could use them!
