His arms closed around her shoulders, his hand on her cheek, as he hugged her close. "This just feels too right," he smiled lightly to himself, closing his eyes in the embrace and resting his cheek against the top of her head.

"Crystal," Anna's grin was too cheerful for comfort, moving to one side of the table to stack empty pots that they would need later on. "I already thought you would have much more important things to do, Mr. Finch. Not to worry - we'll behave."

"I know," Leane answered softly as her smile grew from the happiness that consumed her, "Everything will always be heaven when we are together, I'm sure of it."

Mumbling about how wretched students waisted everyone's time, Finch left the greenhouse and Mrs. Norris jumped up upon a shelf, peering down at the two students with a face that looked as if she were sneering.

Drew rolled his eyes as he walked over to Anna, "Great, now Finch is gone, but how on earth are we supposed to do all this? I wish Sai were here . . . she was always good with Herbology," he added with a sigh, his eyes filled with longing.

A warm, gentle laugh escaped him, and the chest underneath her cheek shook lightly because of it. "Aren't you being a bit too romantic at the moment?"

"Honestly, it's not that hard," Anna laughed, reaching across the table to pat him lightly on the shoulder. "And I do think you wanting Saiyuri here has nothing to do with her skills in Herbology," she added, almost as an afterthought, though the smile on her face showed it to be otherwise. "Look, just watch me do it."

The Belgian girl really had never done any Herbology, but growing up with an affectionate mother had soon forced her to aid said mother in the garden - thus making her familiar with non-magical plants.

So as Anna put fresh ground into one of the empty pots with one hand, she couldn't have expected the plants' leaves to lash out at her as she attempted to dig out the roots with her other. "GAH! What the hell is this thing?"

Leane rolled her eyes as she laughed softly, "Not at all, that's against my nature, remember? I simply stated my thoughts on the matter; and every word I said was true. Do you not believe me?"

Drew laughed as he quickly grabbed a pair of gloves and handed them to Anna, "I'd say they're Fanged Geraniums. And as for Saiyuri, you're right. I hate being apart from her! It's driving me insane not being able to know how she's truely feeling, all I'll have are her words, I won't hear her tone, nor see her eyes. I'll surely be driven insane before December!"

"Everyone is a bit of a romantic," Fynn disagreed gently, a smile on his face as his cheek remained resting on her head. "But I have no reason not to believe you."

"Isn't there some magical way to contact her?" She spokes absentmindedly, smiling in gratitude as she accepted the gloves and put them on, before tackling the plant again, her fingers dinging into the earth around the plants' stem to dig out the roots, before repotting it in the already prepared pot. "So that you can at least see her face or hear her?"

Leane nuzzled her cheek against his chest, "Don't go spreading that around, dearest. It'll make everyone test my guard; and without Sai here to stop me, I may end up kicking a few students around; you being the first," she added teasingly.

Drew sighed as he put on his gloves and followed Anna's lead with another plant, "Yeah, there's always talking through the fireplace; but that's dangerous. Anyone could ease drop and I'm sure her father wouldn't appreciate my speaking to her the way I do. But to be honest? I'd love that more than anything, seeing as how floo powder is not an option, though that would be my first and favorite option. But.. I shouldn't risk it. Maybe Kane is watching some of us, and if he knows we know where Sai is.. it puts her in even more danger.."

He smiled fondly, his hand gently pressing against her back to hug her closer "Keep that spirit for Quidditch, Leane. But I wouldn't mind you assaulting me."

Somewhat troubled by this, Anna proceeded to reach underneath the leaves with a small knife, cutting off the seed pods one by one. "It's a shame that electrical appliances don't work here - it would've been so easy to just grab a cellphone and call her."

Leane sighed, sadness clearly heard as she spoke, "Mm, Quidditch.. It's not going to be the same without Sai... But at least it's only a few months and not the whole year. We'll have tons of playing time together once she returns, I'll make sure of that."

With a smirk, she shifted so she could look up into Fynn's eyes and place a tender kiss upon his lips, "Don't tempt me, my dearest Fynn, I might just do it so we may make up again." Laughing softly as her smirk turned into a smile, she couldn't help but place another tender kiss upon Fynn's lips, lingering for a few seconds longer as her lips entwined with his.

Drew froze mid-transplant, simply staring at Anna as a smile crept across his lips, "My cell! Of course! Anna you're a genius!" Quickly finishing the transplant, he quickly took off his gloves and searched his pockets, "I've completely forgot about it, I haven't had the need to use it often. I think I might have the thing with me; it works here and only in a few rooms back in the castle. Do you think Sai has hers with her? She never uses the one I gave her for her birthday; she only agreed to take it when we were apart because she knew I felt more at ease with her having it. Perhaps it's in her trunk . . . Did you see it in her pocket when you were seeing her off?" he inquired as he finally found his phone, the eagerness and joy of hearing Saiyuri clearly present in his voice.

"I'll come cheer for you - at least, when you're not playing against Gryffindor," he smiled gently after the kiss, his hand cupping her cheek tenderly. "You just enjoy flying on that broom, for now. And about making up..." His hand slid down her cheek to the back of her neck, and his tongue came out to slowly move over her lower lip, before kissing her again. "We don't need to have an actual fight for that."

Her smile was somewhat crooked as she looked at Drew, checking to see if he was serious. "I didn't exactly pay attention to it at the time," Anna said dryly, continuing her job, and gathering the seeds in a glass jar. "But you can always try."

Her eye fell on Mrs. Norks, and she added in a whisper, "Though you may want to wait a bit until I create a distraction for the little girl."

Leane smiled, "True, I can't expect you to go against your own house, even if your team isn't half as good as ours," she added teasingly, "But I do love the speed and feeling the wind blowing through my hair. And I do love seeing the look on the chasers' faces when the bludgers are coming at them - it's too tempting not to laugh. They know very well Josh and I will keep them away, they honestly have no faith in us; and can't say I'm fond of the uniforms, either. They should be darker . . . much darker," she added with a laugh.

Grinning widely, she peered up at Fynn with a sly look, "However, Fynn dearest, that statement goes against what you've been saying so far. What happened to 'we must keep from contact and kissing or we'll never pay attention to our studies'," she mocked in a deep voice, her laughter not able to stay repressed as she said the last few words. The grin fading to a smile, she brushed her lips against his, her tongue lightly caressing bottom lip, tongue, and then his top lip.

"If you keep kissing me as you do, and saying such statements, I may be forced to steal you away on the weekends and keep you to myself just so I can curl up in your arms without having to worry about classes."

Drew quickly shoved his phone back in his pocket and threw on his gloves before Mrs. Norris turned her head back to them. As he begun work on another plant, he whispered back, "Maybe it's not such a good idea.. What if Saiyuri's father picks up.. I don't dare imagine his reaction.."

Biting her lower lip lightly, he grinned back at her, feeling ridiculously elated at all she was saying. "My weekends are, obviously, dedicated to holding you in my arms - though I'll defnetly find a way to keep you from slacking off at school."

Her eyes rested on Drews' face for a moment, before shaking her head at him lightly, mumbling, "Fuckit". Her hand sneaked into her cloak as her lips moved silently into a spell, and a small moment later, a mouse happily came running past Mrs. Norris. "Now you call her, or I will." Anna's hand came back out of the cloak to hold out her gloved hand to Drew, to take the cellphone in case he didn't call.

Leane wrapped her arms around his neck, her hands sliding through his hair, "Mmmm, I definitely like the sound of the first part; though I'm not too keen on the second," she added with a laugh.

Leane quickly turned her head into her shoulder, trying her best to stifle a yawn.

"You've made me sleepy now," she said softly as she rested her head against Fynn's chest, "but I don't want to leave just yet.."

Drew shook his head as he continued with his work, "No. I will not chance it. If Saiyuri's father sees that we're more together than he thought, he'll do everything he can to keep us apart. I couldn't bear that.. Could you bear to be parted from Liam under such circumstances?"

Hugging her back, Fynn gave an indulgent smile, his hand slowly caressing her lower back. "Then stay for a while longer, and then go sleep."

Contemplating this, Anna shrugged after a moment, walking around the table to grab the cellphone out of Drews pocket - pushing away his hands automatically. "Liam and I are different; but I do know what you mean. So rather, I'll call, and if her dad picks up, just tell that you wanted the cellphones so that she could call you when she was in trouble. You are supposed to keep her safe, aren't you?"

Leane smiled, "That might not be such a bad idea if we weren't supposed to be up in just a few short hours. I'll surely be sleeping through the first few classes, even if I do sleep soon. Besides, I'd rather be with you, like this, than in the common room; though I'm sure Josh has fallen asleep by the fireplace waiting up for me again," she added with a groan. "I swear, that boy treats me as if I'm still a child! I may be a few months younger, but that's still no right to check up on me as he does! He'll surely have a field day when he finds out where I've been all this time," she added as her forehead creased as she scowled.

Drew hesitated, "Well, yes, but . . ."

Sighing, he took his gloves off, "You call. If her father answers, he's more likely to give the phone to her if it's you, instead of me. Her number's already programed, it's the only number in it," he added with a blush.

Fynn made a slight face, considering this. "Maybe you'd rather not tell him? I mean..." He sighed, his finger unconciously slipping underneath the hem of her shirt and caressing the bare skin of her lower back. "I don't know how he'll react to us... And the overprotectiveness is probably just because he loves you a lot." It wasn't an easy thing for Fynn to say - after all, he'd always believed that Josh' love for Leane was more then brotherly affection, but he was attempting to understand it now, for the sake of Lee. "But really, I should let you get some rest."

"Look at you being all adorable shy and such," Anna squealed, grinning teasingly at Drew as she chose Saiyuri's number before hitting the green telephone button. "Besides, if it is her dad," the brunette added, holding the phone between her ear and shoulder as she continued working with the plants, "I can always lie my way out of it."

Leane bit her lower lip as she smiled, her hands slipping down his shoulders to clutch his chest as his fingers touched her skin, "I know how hard our relationship is for you to understand, but I appreciate you trying; it means much more than you know."

Nuzzling her head against his chest, she laughed, "Anyways, he'll find out eventually. Better from my mouth than others, you know how Slythies like to talk. But if you keep slipping your fingers down my skirt and shirt as you do, I'll want to leave that much less," she added with a grin.

Saiyuri curled up on her bed, her wet hair sprawled out upon the pillow. A few hours earlier, they had stopped and transfered into a more modern muggle vehicle -- a black limousine with tinted windows -- and had driven to this hotel, where they were staying for the night. Her father had told her that they were on their way to meet a friend of his before they headed for home; further details than that, he wouldn't give.

Sighing, Saiyuri closed her eyes, knowing her father was already asleep in the next room over, and tried to sleep. Just as she began to drift, the startle of her cellphone on the stand next to her ringing caused her to sit straight up and turn on the lamp. Smiling, she eagerly grabbed her cellphone and flipped it open, "Drew?!"

He smiled lightly, glad that she realized that he really didn't get the bond she had with Josh - his fingers never leaving her skin. "It's your own fault for being so tempting."

"Anna, actually," the brunnette grinned to herself, teasingly adding, "Drew was too paranoid about it being your dad to call himself. Silly little boy~"

Leane laughed, "I'll take your complaint to my aunt, for they say I take after her."

"Yes, that is Drew's nature. He always did fear my father, though he does have good reason. Is he there?" Saiyuri laughed as she added, "Not that I don't love to hear from you, but I was hoping it would be Drew. I do miss him . . . I hate being away this long!"

Drew glared at Anna, "Anna! That's so not true!"

Saiyuri laughed, "Is that him in the background? How on earth are you two calling me in the same room anyway?" She asked, a smile creeping aross her lips, completely oblivious to the detention she was supposed to have that night.

"You do that," he smiled, hugging her a bit closer for a moment to kiss her again. "Now, shoo. I have some prefect things to do before I go to bed."

Sticking out her tongue at Drew and completely ignoring him, Anna innocently replied, "You dork, of course he's here - how else would I have gotten his cellphone? There's this thing called caller ID, you know. And you'll get your lover boy in a sec, he's all anxious to talk to you." With a dramatic sigh, she added, "He's so in love~"

After pushing at the dirt around the newly repotted plant, Anna shook off one of her gloves, grabbing the cell between her fingers and adding, "The us being in a room together has to do with detention - we're gathering potion ingredients or something, I don't have a clue."

Leane kissed him softly on his chin before stepping back from him, "Blech, Prefect duties are no fun. They're like charms; dull and boring; unless you're taking points away or giving someone detention, that is," she added with a laugh before turning to leave.

With a smile over her shoulder, she winked at Fynn as she threw her hair back up into a pony tail, "See you in the morning! Don't stay up too late."

Drew rolled his eyes as he put on one of his gloves, chucked a bit of dirt at Anna, and then slipped it back off.

Saiyuri laughed as she curled her feet close to her, her blankets curled up against her chest, as she leaned back against her pillows and headboard, "I never pay attention to caller ID, you're lucky Drew programed this to where I can open and shut it to answer and end calls! Otherwise I'd be clueless and you may not have gotten me!"

With a sigh, she apologized, "I really am sorry for getting you two into detention. It was somehow my fault, though I don't remember everything; all I remember is some guy and you two beating up to a pulp. I still wonder who that guy was . . . But anyway, I bet Snape's just being wretched and making you do things for nothing, seeing as how he keeps stores of everything in a room behind the bookcase in his classroom. What plants are you working with?"

He watched her go with a sigh, holding his hand up in greeting with an absolutely smitten expression on his face. "Sweet dreams, Lee." He waited until she rounded a corner, before turning away and making his way back to the Gryffindor common room - his head filled with Leane, rather then what he was supposed to do.

With a laugh, Anna tried to avoid the dirt, but still got most of it on her shoulder. Mock-glaring at Drew, she tried to reply to Saiyuri, broad smile still on her face. "You actually expect me to have a clue? Honestly sugar - you're overestimating me! Also, don't you worry about the detention thing. Besides," as one of the pods popped open, Anna jumped away, barely escaping a cloth of goo to hit her, "I don't mind much; it's kinda fun. And Snape looks so surly - I just want to put bunny ears on his head and give him a snuggle."

The smile she gave Drew was more of an insanely happy grin then anything else, and she added to Saiyuri, "I am lucky Drew changed that, though I'm quite amazed that a non-muggle knows such things." Of course, completely forgetting her own pureblood status.

Leane sighed as she walked into the common room. As the door closed behind her, she leaned against it, a broad smile still on her face, her heart a flutter with thoughts of Fynn; his touch, his lips. With a soft giggle she moved away from the door and began walking across the entryway into the main area.

Josh quickly stood up and walked over to her, "Where the hell have you been Leane Supton?!"

Leane rolled her eyes, "What are you suggesting?"

"What I'm suggesting is, you've been doing something you shouldn't. What have you been doing?"

"Is it really that important?" she teased him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, "You'll be mad if I tell you."

Josh rolled his eyes, "Tell me."

"I was with Fynn," she replied simply.

Josh's eyes grew wide as he shoved her away from him, "What?!"

Leane sighed, "Look . . . he's not what you think!"

"Bloody hell Lee, what on earth are you thinking?! All he's done is hurt you, have you completely gone insane?!"

Leane clenched her fists and teeth and she glared at Josh, chin jutting out, her hair crackling with static, "Josh, I love him! It's just been a misunderstanding! He thought we were a thing, and by the time he realized we weren't, it was too late! He still doesn't trust us - he still thinks we mean more to each other than what we let on!"

Sighing, she sat down in the nearby chair, her hands resting on her lap, her head bent down, "Josh.. I love him, I can't change that. Please forgive me and try to understand."

Josh sighed, knowing he had hurt Leane with his words, and walked over to her, kneeling beside her chair and taking her hand as he spoke, "Lee, if he means that much to you, I'll try to be nice to him. Don't expect much though, okay? You know very well you've always been like a younger sister to me, and as your older brother I will not go easy on him if he hurts you again; and I know many people who won't hesitate to help me kick his ass, got it?"

Leane laughed and kissed his cheek, "Don't worry, love, everything will be fine, I promise. Now, I'm sure you haven't gotten much sleep; what with your little rendezvous with Kal today and waiting up for me all night," she added teasingly as a sly smile crept across her lips.

Josh laughed as he stood up and ruffled Leane's hair, "And I'm sure you haven't gotten much sleep either; what with you snogging Fynn all afternoon," he teased back.

Leane laughed, "I was not!"

"Lee, I know you, you're passionate, and if you get the chance to kiss the one you love, you're going to do it and not want to stop."

Leane rolled her eyes and laughed as she ran towards the Girls' Dormitory, "Oh shut it Josh, you don't know a thing!"

Laughing, Josh watched as she went into the Girls' Dormitory before he headed for the Boys', 'That ass better not hurt her again. I'll kill him this time if he does.'

Saiyuri laughed, "Don't let Snape hear you say that, Anna-chan! He'll surely hate you and make your life miserable! As for Drew, we grew up around muggle things all our lives. I was more into staying with the animals and keeping in doors due to my health, but Drew spent his time figuring out all the muggle gadgets so he would have something to amuse me with while he was there. I never cared much for it, but it amused him and it was great fun watching him play with everything!"

Drew sighed and held his hand out impatiently. He was beginning to get angry with Anna for teasing him so, "You know very well I want to speak to her! I'm gonna throw more dirt if you don't hand it over!"

Saiyuri laughed as she heard Drew in the background, "Anna-chan, I do believe you're making him angry. I wonder what he would do if I said I would rather talk to you than him? Think he'd kill us?"

"I'm too high right now that not even Drew being mad at me can bring me down," Anna's voice still carried a smile, but her eyes were a bit colder as she looked at the boy across the table from her, wondering why on earth he was getting so annoyed, and dislike this aspect of her new friend. "But lets not risk it, shall we?"

Shoving the cell into Drews' hand, the brunette muttered, "Next time, don't be a wimp and just call yourself, rather then getting pissed at me." Taking three of the repotted plants in her arms, she walked away, carrying them to the furthest table to give him some privacy on the phone.

Ignoring Anna, he put the phone to his ear, "Saiyuri?"

"Hai! Konichiwa Drew-kun! Ogenki desu ka?" she replied with a laugh. (Yes! Hello Drew! How are you?)

"I'm fine now that I've heard you for myself; you don't know how worried I've been."

Saiyuri laughed, "Drew~w, don't be so dreary! I'm perfectly fine, even though I have no idea where I am."

Drew's eyes went wide, "What?"

"Father siad we were to visit his friends before we are to return home. We drove a bit in a muggle limosuine before stopping at this hotel; father's in the room to the left of me, and the guards and driver are in the rooms to the right and directly across the hall. I honestly don't get what is wrong with him, I'm worried."

Drew's fists clenched, "I'm going to kill him.."

Saiyuri, a bit taken aback, asked breathlessly, "What?"

"N-nothing. Nothing to worry about, I promise."

"Drew, why don't I believe you."

"You're just a worry wart, darling. Please, don't worry, just do as your father says until-"

"Until what?"

"Until I get there."

"What do you mean? Drew, you're scaring me right now, what on earth is going on?"

"Nothing for you to worry about, honest Sai."

"Then why do I get the feeling that you're keeping things from me! I hate this, not being beside you! If I were there, you couldn't lie to me like this and I would know what's going on!"

Drew sighed, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you..."

"Try me."

"Sai, I'll explain it to you soon, I promise. If I do so now, Anna will hear and she doesn't know anything yet. Just make sure you take the potions when you're supposed to, alright? And please, for my sake, do not mention your worries to your father. Just.. call me, okay? Every chance you get, even if it's for just a little while, call me, okay?"

"Why.. it's as if I'm checking in to prove that I'm alive.."

"In one sense. Now please, promise me you will. You know how to call me, right?"

"Hai. But why on earth would I be in fear of dying?" (Yes. But why on earth would I be in fear of dying?)

"Not dying, dearest, something a bit worse."

"Drew, there's nothing worse than death."

"Believe me, when you've met him, you'll agree with me."

"Met who?"

"Never mind that now, just promise me."

"I-I promise..," she answered hesitantly. Knowing that asking anything more would simply result in nothing.

"Sai, you'd better get some sleep, it's late. I love you."

"I love you too, but.."

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Just do this for me, okay?"

"Alright, I trust you Drew.. I'm just-"

"Worried, I know darling, I promise you'll be fine. Remember the promise I made to you when we were younger?"

Saiyuri smiled, "The one made in the sandbox? Yeah, I remember."

"I've kept it so far, right?"

"Of course!"

"Then trust me, okay?"

"Itsumo." (Always)

"Aishiteru, Saiyuri, itsumo." (I love you, Saiyuri, always.)

"Aishiteru, Drew. I'll talk to you in the morning when father's not around, alright?"

"Okay, I can't wait to hear from you. And don't worry, I'll give everyone a chance to say 'Hi', I promise."

Saiyuri laughed, "Alright, I look forward to it. Give Anna my love, alright?"

Drew nodded, "Sure. Bye Saiyuri."

(Good-bye, Drew) "Sayonara, Drew-kun," said Saiyuri before closing her phone. Setting it on the table and turning off the lamp, she sighed. ugging her pillow close as she layed down, she continued to think of Drew's words as she drifted off to sleep.

Drew sighed as he shoved the phone back into his pocket and walked over to Anna. Sitting up on the table, he sighed, "Look.. I'm really sorry.. You don't understand how worried I've been.. Things; things haven't been going well.. I'm afraid there's more danger in her leaving without me than just the fact that the potions aren't treating her illness well anymore.."

Still frowning lightly, Anna simply walked past him, back to the table to get the rest of the plants. "I was joking with her on the phone, that really should have been an indication to you that she was safe. Also-" The brunette groaned as one of the pots almost fell, but she managed to cling it to her body just in time, "What's with the spouting of random Japanese? Makes no sense whatsoever..." the last sense was muttered more to herself, though it was impossible for Drew not to hear it, as she said it while passing him by again.

"So are you now at least somewhat relieved enough to stop being an ass with no sense of humour?"
