So I found this site about two hours ago, and I think this is amazing! Well now it's pretty dead (poor me), but I already think Mene is wonderful place and I might fit in here. I'm really excited how you gonna take me in (it seems everyone is sleeping, so if someone will notice me, it won't be now...) even though English isin't my language, and I'm so unsure :D

Thanks for the tipp hummy :) But I can`t remember to say that I like Dr. Who because I never senn it. But it should be funny so maybe I will watch it one day when there is a place where I can see it on the internet legaly and for free. :3

@Noblette: Yeah your right fiction is never wrong :D But on the first side of this topic The_Crow ask to quote this sentence, so I try to do that. Which book do you read? It sounds interesting. What is it about?

@The_Crow Thanks for the answer. I think I understand the most things. I also found the art corner. Maybe I also add some Pictures I also like to draw. :D
My native language is germany, Monstermietz the last name of my username is also german, as I said.in the FreshMeat Topic it means something like monster kitty:3 What languages do you speak? And why have you learned this much?
And thanks I`m happy that I`m not this bad.

Noblette: "It Can't Rain All The Time" is a song by Hangman's Joke, the band the late Eric Draven was in. When The Crow returned to set things right in terms with the men who raped and murdered his wife, and murdered him, he ran into their 'adopted' daughter and saved her from getting hit on her skateboard in the rain by an oncoming car. The Crow mentioned to her "It Can't Rain All The Time" to her, and then she looked up and asked "Eric?" but he was gone. She went back to her apartment and put on the vinyl copy of that song and fell asleep to it.

FelisMonstermietz: So, your native language is German because you come from Germany. I have German blood/family in me. I know this because my mother's maiden name (my mother's last name/surname before marriage) is "Feyerabend". I know it translates to "Quitting Time" and is the name of a few bars. =S I like German music: Rammstein, E Nomine, and Oomph! I am an 'ameteur' linguist so I know many parts of many languages.

I really like "Laybryinth" and "Augen Auf":

Augen Auf Ich Kommen >=D

@The_Crow: I didn't see the moie the Crow but I read the book. The story about Eric is the best :)
Thanks for describing some words. It makes easier for me to understand what you are meaning. I think it's really funny that you have some german blood. Where are you from? Feyerabend is written Feierabend in german, the rest you said was right. It means that work is over and you can go home or in a bar to drink a bear :D Greetings to your Mom ;)
And you surprise me this morning seriously. I didn't know that E Nomine is also known out of germany. And the song that you had posted was a famous here. It was also in the charts. When you like Rammstein, you also could like Eisbrecher. The best album is Eiszeit I think. Some songs are: Böse Mädchen (Bad grils) and Kinder der Nacht(Children of the night).
What means "ameteur" linguist? That you learn some things that you want to now? I think it's great when you're interested in languages :3

Mimmu: I have a flair for the macabre, plus I love Menewsha as well. You make it sound a bit like an "in Wonderland" experience.

knic: By how much? If it was just ONE OR TWO DAYS or somesuch, you could have asked and I could have made an executive decision. After all, this does just happen to be my charity if you weren't aware. I make exceptions on a semi regular basis. However now that I know you have an outfit I will not, but there are still other ways to earn prizes from the charity for the 'regulars'.

FelisMonstermietz: When you have more than one STORY (when you make it plural) you "drop" the "y" at the end and ADD "-ies" so it becomes "stories". I have more books than I can carry, and I enjoy reading stories, and like online role playing, which is where you have two or more people take turns writing what happens next in the story. It is fun because you never know what will happen next. Sometimes you have an agreed upon goal overall but you have no idea what will happen. Lots of surprises for everyone!

I've been a member now um... three days, maybe? Heh, this place is awesome! Love the games :P

I would love to role-play in here, but my English skills aren't that great, so chatting and writing little poems is my thing. :)
And about my signature, I'm listening a lot of music by Emilie Autumn, so I have now little wonderland-theme going inside of my head. :D

What happens to be your native language?

I speak "broken Spanish" (about 5/10), and I speak and have the reading comprehension of a preschooler (2.5/10) for Japanese. However I've sang quite a bit of Latin in church, and I also recognise Italian and Portuguese cognates to Spanish. I know a few German bands, and a few German words(1/10), and it is so strange to me that English is technically a Germanic language, but we have 'time capsule' of Old French, a Latin language, and we've also stolen from many other languages, so the English we speak ish half Germanic half Latin and then some.

If you plan on getting an outfit and a surprise from this charity, you might want to buy an accessory before you fill out your form because right now you have a little bit too much gold :P However, if you buy an outfit you will be disqualified, so maybe buy a nice necklace or something for your hair...

Finnish, so I live in Finland. ^_^ When we go to the 7th grade, we have to start study Swedish, so I can speak/write a little bit of that too. I know many little words from many languages, for example German (German bands ♥), Japanese (Anime), French (we were in France few months ago) and Italian (because I play piano, so I have to study little words like allegro and largo etc.) Now I regret that I didn't take any language for the next two years to study in school. Hmp.

I have consider buying something nice for my hair, but I don't know, has the "buying-bug" still alive. I don't wanna pay double for anything. :/

The buying bug only applies to the market place I think and not the shops. You can ask a mod or staff member to double check that.

Quote:
ATTENTION MENEWSHA USERS!!!!!

There is currently a BUG with the Marketplace! This bug causes items to sell for at least twice of the buying price. (If the item is 25 gold, you will be charged 50 gold and the seller gets that 50 gold. If the item is 1,000 gold, you will be charged 2,000 - and so on.)

UNTIL THIS NOTICE IS REMOVED, BID IN THE MARKETPLACE KNOWING YOU WILL PAY DOUBLE. It is very possible we will not be able to refund costly mistakes, so please be prepared to never recover the difference.

NOTREALLYANUPDATE: Considering the way the bug is progressing as we watch it and test it, you can be charged MORE than double and, if so, the seller WILL receive however much you're charged. It is quite possible we'll have to do a rollback to when the server came online again to fix the problem. I would advise doing no buying or selling in the Marketplace, period. Don't forget the Menewsha Facebook to keep updated if the site goes down during this time.
From what I read it doesn't apply to the shops where you buy commons at regular price at. I'll ask a staff member to make sure or you can ask before you buy from a regular commons shop.

To earn prizes from this charity, it is pretty random from what I can tell. The birdies stop by and literally drop gold or items on your head if you're the random lucky number. Am I right, Crow?
