Really? Mine are crazy intense about it. I have one teacher that freaks out about you having to come to class, and has a very strict no electronics rule. lol She says that coming to class is like having a job, "you only get so many paid sick-days, and then when you run out you have to deal with the consequences." So basically we can miss 3 classes unexcused, and then every class we miss after that will drop us half of a letter grade.
