GET OUT, GET OUT NOW.

I've been drawing all my life, as far as I can remember anyway.
When I was young, I learned from watching Mark Kistler on TV and VHS.
Then as I got older, I would copy art I found online and in books, such as Dragonball Z, Crash Bandicoot, Sonic The Hedgehog, and whatever else fancied my interest in my youth.
Then along comes my interest in drawing booty...

But then back in 2009, I bought my Wacom Bamboo tablet, and since then I've gotten more involved in digital art, rather than having to go through with scanning and then colouring digitally, which didn't suit my well and still doesn't quite frankly.

Now I'm only caught doing H art commissions, that's what I got caught up in, that's all I get paid for, that's what I'll probably be doing until the end of time. 8|

You don't want to know, Kia.

A tablet is a machine you plug into your computer, and you draw on it. The computer reads the stylus on the tablet and turns it into lines in a drawing software.

H stands for a word.
A word you may or may not want to know.

Tablet is an input device, much like a mouse, but in the shape of a pen and pad.
It features pressure sensitivity, so the harder or softer you press, the thinner or thicker the line will be.
They can either be $50 for simple tablets, or $2,000 for the directly to the monitor screen.

I got the cheap one of course.

A tablet won't help any with skill, if you can't draw with a pencil and paper, you're not gonna get anything better out of a tablet.
But for $50 it's not a bad investment for those who like drawing, and would feel comfortable with drawing at their computer.

*nodnods* Still, it's a pretty expensive bit of hardware. I don't pay more than $20 for anything except music equipment - but then, I'm a musician so there's that.

Computer equipment is pricey, but it's not that bad.

.... Okay, the post office is completely incompetent. They REFUSE to redeliver my package and are going to send it back today. *pissed* And they're all "well we never got any requests for redelivery so we aren't even willing to try to redeliver again." Regardless of the fact they're SUPPOSED to attempt at least one more time anyway and I tried SEVERAL time in al the different ways to get it redelivered. Grr... I have never had this much trouble getting them to redeliver something. I strongly suspect that they opened it or something and know what it is and are all high and mighty about not wanting anyone to have any fun...

How is everyone else doing?

Good morning.

I am doing alright I suppose. Just bumming around before I start cleaning the apartment again. And I completely understand the incompetencies of the post office.

Ah the funness of cleaning apartments. *looks around her* I really should do that myself.

After calling three different times I finally got someone at the local post office to answer and she got my package on the truck RIGHT before it left. Damn I wish I knew her name, I'd nominate her for post office worker of the year or something. *grins* The national number was all "your only choice is to pick it up, they're sending it back today." Thankfully, the local post office was much better about it. So I should get it today!~ *dance* Two weeks later....

Me too. *sighs*

*grins* My best friend is like that. She got bored one day when I was at college and she was on break from school and I came home to a color coordinated closet and a completely re-organized room. I was calling her right up until I moved asking where the hell she put stuff.

All of mine are in Alphabetical by console, and then series of games (like Zelda) are grouped in order by date.

Zelda! i love those games. I'm currently playing Majora's Mask for the N64.

and at least when there in order you can remember what games you have and what ones you don't.

My Naruto cards are in order too...

*grins* My manga are organized by type first then alphabetically. But most of my other books are just thrown in the shelves organized by groups, but not otherwise. I know where everything is, but everyone else is all, wha?

I don't play video games, other than Runescape which is an online MMORPG, so I'm not sure that counts.
