Yeah, my coworker told me she hated water too, but then after forcing herself to drink water and no other type of drink for around three weeks in a row, she said she's much more used to water now.

I think I'm still a little flabbergasted that someone could hate water. It would make sense, though, if that person came from a city where the water wasn't very clean, or lived in the middle of nowhere and had to use a well. I live where the water is pure enough to drink right from a lake or a glacier. I grew up on it, and I enjoy water.
It's just that so many drinks have so much sugar or excessive amounts of flavoring it's hard to enjoy.

I don't like overly sweetened drinks either, so I drink a lot of tea or milk.

I had a latte today that was flavoured with vanilla and cardamon. It was actually a delightful surprise.

That's insane.
We only drink bottled water or RO water here. Never tap water. Thankfully they don't taste like blood...though I'm not fond of most bottled water because they tend to taste like plastic instead.

I get sicker from bottles water so I just drink the tap. Sometimes it's boiled but I'm a lazy sucker so I don't bother most of the time. lol

It sounds like there's a high level of iron in the water, which is what would make it taste like blood. And fluoride is used to hide that taste, and is supposed to help sanitize it. But using too much like that not only poisons you--as you've discovered--but can make your teeth soft. There's a tribe that lives on the salt flats, and a coming-of-age tradition for men is to sharpen their teeth; they're able to do this because of all the natural fluoride in the salt.
I still just drink from the tap.

Rest in peace, Ika.
The water here is too not safe for direct drinking, so I think most people buy bottled or distilled water. Some get them from streams or underground on mountains where the water is supposedly less polluted, but I don't think it's healthy either because of how much bacteria there would be in them.

It's hard to tell. I live in a place where the water from the mountain is clear and delicious. It comes from a glacier-fed lake where the most you'd have to worry about is silt. Even then, it's not so bad.

Well mothership got Halobacta from our water so it's not exactly safe.. >_> But it made the government come and replace all our pipes for free.
