@Taki: My friend is really struggling with math, so I'm always the one that has to help him. He's in a remedial type course, and some of the stuff he knows how to do, but I don't. Then I'm like. . . uh, why am I tutoring you again? You get this more than I do. XD And I feel really stupid. XD;

@simp - Calculus was a horrible experience, let me tell you. Oh, and a trig/precalc class in high school does not prepare you for calculus in college, let me tell you. x.x I found that out the hard way, and got a D. I studied everyday and went to get help from the teacher almost as often, and I still got a D. >.> First and only D in my life.
@windy - lol, the tutoree knows more than the tutor. Don't feel stupid though! However, you should maybe tell your friend to get another tutor. XD

@Taki: Oh gee, make calculus sound all wonderful why don't ya? xD
I'm not really sure what comes after Algebra II though? I think it's Math 4, but I don't know what Math 4 is..I wonder if that's calculus. But then if that's calculus, then what's AP calculus? lol
I'm getting myself confused.

@windy - Ah I see. Maybe, you could look up help and then help him? o.o;; I'm not sure, lol!
@simp - Oops, sorry about that! Didn't mean to scare you off of it. I'm not sure what math 4 is actually... XD;; Lots of schools have different names for the same thing. I vaguely recall hearing something with that name though, but I've never taken it. Don't worry, I'm just as confused.
Also, I'm going to be leaving soon, so I'll have to say good bye a little bit in the future. *goes to change clothes* Still here for now. :D

@Taki: That's really what I end up doing. I end up re-educating myself in order to educate him about a certain subject, so it's really funny. At least I'm getting some personal gain out of it, yanno? :o

Ugh.
Gosh darn it.
Now the cake won't come off of my head. x.x
@Windy: That's good at least. I know what you mean, when I'm tutoring my friends in Geometry, it's like they expect me to know everything. Of course, I don't, but looking at the explanations brings all the stuff that I've learned back.

@windy - I think that's what parents do for their kids actually. xD My dad had to read the book a little, but picked it up again quickly and was able to help me with some of the harder things for my homework. It's funny, because he always mentions how he was terrible at math, but he's actually really good I think.

@Sim: Yeah, I can't help people in the same class as me because I sometimes don't understand the material we're being taught either. Plus, in my grade, it's a dog-eat-dog world. >_> I'm gonna be working on at least Salutatorian (cause the Valedictorian has a 8.0 something GPA -- it's nuts).
@Taki: My dad's the same way. He's a builder and he claims how he never knew anything about math in his school days, but now he knows what measurements need to be made to have a certain width by height by length room. . . it's crazy.

Hmm...I haven't asked my parents for help in school work since like third grade, and that's because I didn't understand one word of English. xP
But my mom buys me all the books my little heart desires. ^^
@Windy: Salutatorian? Is that what comes after the Valedictorian? Geez..my school is NOT that competitive, well at least not my year anyways. I'll probably make it with my awful grades. lol I wouldn't want to make the speech though. @.@

@windy - What in the world is a Salutatorian? I've never heard that term before. x.x I had a 3.8 gpa in high school, so I didn't make valedictorian (Although none of the valedictorians had 8.0 I think. How do you even get that? o.O?) I'm not sure what the term was for me.
btw, how did you get that little cake in your sig? I keep seeing variations of that cake everywhere! XD
@chai -Welcome back! :D

@Sim and Taki: A salutatorian is the person with the next highest GPA in the graduating class. Currently, that's me. I'm no where ever close to being to the valedictorian. But if I get salutatorian, I'll still get the pretty yellow sash that drapes around my shoulders over my blue gown. :333
