"I am Lord Lucidna of the Ebon Moon, but I prefer to be called Luce." He glanced at Desdemona for a moment watching as she sat down. Luce's heart ached, and still he clutched that blue rose to his chest with one hand, watching as Coral hid against Rida, then peeked out at him and offered him a sunflower. Luce smiled brightly for the briefest of moments as he reached out to gently take that offered flower once Rida had settled down closer to him. "Thank you, little Coral. This is a very lovely flower." Now there was a flower in each hand, and he pressed both of them gently to his heart. Quite honestly, Luce had never felt like this before, his heart ached at causing Sikura so much sadness, it left him feeling very sad and just a little emotionally drained. He should try to talk to Sikura, ease her pain somehow, and Frewen was waiting for him. Though Luce hungered, this feeling in his heart seemed to outweigh that hunger for now. He would be ravenous later.

"Its nice meeting you Luce"She smiled once more and then hid her teeth again.Des opened her eyes and observed Luce staring at the blue rose. "Something the matter?"she could see the sadness in his eyes for she had felt the same once herself. He seemed to grip the rose tightly and she was sure whatever happened he didn't want to discuss it.

When Rida picked her up Coral froze slightly. But she soon relaxed when he held her closely and tucked her head under his chin. As they both got settled she watched Luce with her big doe eyes. She gave him a smile back, happy that her flower caused such a bright smile. "Welcome," she said quietly. "My mummy use ta make me em when I was sad." Then she nuzzled her head against Rida's chest and let out a content sigh.

Then moment he began to rub her back she started to hum softly in happiness. Looking at the lady she gave her a small wave before tucking her hands in her lap. Finally she was completely relaxed. Coral felt safe in her new protectors arms. Besides the pain of her wing and the pain in her head she was comfortable. Bringing one small hand up she held some of her hair away from her face so one eye peeked out. "Why you sad Mis-ta Luce?" Her blinking grew slower and slower as it was beginning to become hard for her to stay awake. But Coral wanted to know why he was so sad.

Rida had asked him when he first approached why he was sad, then Desdemona had asked and now even the little pixie was asking. Blue eyes had settled on his lap for a few moments, then he looked at the pixie. She was hurt, very injured and though Luce had noticed it earlier, he seemed to only just now be realizing it. "I am sad because I made a dear friend of mine sad. Such a thing had not been my intention, but I knew it would happen." Still he was sure it had been better to go ahead and tell Sikura those things now, instead of waiting until her feelings for him had grown stronger. Luce shook his head slightly and slipped the sunflower into his left hand. Now holding both flowers in one hand to his chest, he very slowly extended his right hand towards the pixie.

She was hurt, but he could heal her. Though it was not something he would often do, a creature who could drain the life force of others, Luce could use his own life force to heal others. It was an odd ability to have for a demon, even an Incubus, but Luce didn't question his abilities. The only reason he refrained from doing such things though, was the toll it would take on his body. It would make him tired and it would make him hunger for carnal pleasures even more. Though the way he felt now, it seemed very easy to ignore his hunger. A soft blue light gathered at the tips of his fingers as that hand reached out towards the pixie.

Luce's own life force, it was gentle and soft, the way Luce always seemed to be. Soft, gentle, but very strong. The blue light from his finger tips faded, and Coral's skin would glow softly with that light for a few moments as Luce's life force gently and slowly merged with her own. It would do nothing but heal her wounds and repair her broken wing. At least, that was what it should do.

Des had looked down and it made her sad even though she was in a cheerful place. She wanted to say something but she didn't want to cry at the moment. She snapped out of her deep thinking to notice Coral waving at her and she waved back. Luce healing her was a good idea and she smiled when the scent of pixie blood wasn't as intoxicating with her wounds being healed.

Turning confusedly from one person to the other, Priscilla frowned. So it wasn't Arcis talking, it was a demon? How very strange. Priscilla would never have expected it. Shrugging a little, she smiled and shook her head. "I can't remember if I introduced myself or not, but my name is Priscilla." Turning to Nurya, she could truly see the changes that had come over Arcis now. Before her mind had been shoving them away in an attempt to hide what was right before her eyes. "I'm sorry for letting my anger fly as I have." She was still a little angry, but after being interrupted it was difficult to hold on to the intense emotion she'd felt before. The golden eyed woman reached up to tug a lock of her hair nervously as she looked from one demon to the other without any real idea of what to expect.

This was of course a rather novel experience for Priscilla. She believed she'd never met a demon before, though she had. She wished once more that she had a skirt on instead of her pants. At least then she would be able to tug and smooth, twist and turn, without worrying that it might look strange. It was a rather nervous habit, but it worked.

Frewen had slipped deeper into his pond, needing to seek the watery depths to ease the irritation in his skin. That was why he hated coming up on land. Though he supposed that if he did it more often the sensation would become something he was used to.

Shaking his head, he swam up and climbed out of the water. A smile crossed his face when he noticed Luce, though it slipped away soon enough. Then there were the other three sitting nearby also. Not quite certain what to do, Frewen went to sit at Luce's feet and looked up at the others. Perhaps introductions were in order. Grinning, he stood up to bow slightly at everyone and say, "My name is Frewen, and consider that a general introduction," before sitting down again and placing a hand on Luce's leg.

Curiosity filled him about everyone else, but he said nothing about that for once. Though it might not have shown, he was worried for the tall dark haired demon. He wasn't in one of his usual moods, no ... It seemed like sadness was just drifting off him in waves in a way that made everyone aware of how he felt. And that simply wouldn't do to Frewen's thinking.

Regan nodded in relief as Loki said he believed him. It had been quite a while since the vampire had needed another's approval like this. In some ways it was strange, but in others it was absolutely wonderful. Smiling, he returned Vex's hug and watched her walk of. Shaking his head, he went to find Loki outside the kitchen, and slipped an arm around him to announce his presence while searching for Vex with his eyes. It seemed like she'd gotten very close with Jinsu... And he was worried for her.

Near the pond, a decent size oak tree started to glow. The leaves began to fall as the tree's size grow smaller and its branches grew more human-like. The bark became more smooth like one piece of sun tanned skin as human features started to show. A bellybutton, hands, the roots became feet and the leaves turned to hair. As the transformation began to slow, a face came from the bark as did more feminine features. It was a woodwife.

She stood there for a moment before yawning and stretching to get the stiffness out of her body. The stump on her back was all that was left of her tree form. Her long green hair gleamed in the sun as she looked over at the kelpie and his friends. The young woman rose from her hole in the ground and started to walk over to them. A leaf top covering her womanly mounds and bark pants covered below her belt line. The woman would not speak since she had spoken in a while and would need a little time to gain that ability. She would stumble as she walked but would eventually gain her stride.

Sikura laid on her side and did not move unless it was to puke into the bucket the inn had provided her. Her eyes red from crying but she would not let anyone see her for a while. The child inside her hungered for food but that was the only time she ate anything. She refused tea or water and did not leave the bed. If she kept this up, she could become even more ill.

((I'm not apologizing for the long post again. Lol I can't help it :sweat:))

When Vex left his room Jinsu remained on the edge of the bed staring at the photo of him and his brother, his anger slowly growing. Jin flung the picture onto the bed as he stood, angrily tipping the bedside table as the lamp crashed to the floor. Then he threw a chair across the room and punched a large hole in the wall. When he stopped, fists still clenched, he rested his forehead against the wall beside the hole as his eyes remained upon it, watching the Inn already healing itself.

It was his fault his brother was gone. If he had only been strong enough to bring in the bounty that would pay to save his brother's life. It seemed so long ago now and Jin had been so young at heart. When his brother died is when he lost it. His anger shot through the roof, something he couldn't control. The doctors said it was a chemical imbalance, but Jin didn't care what anyone said. He spent all of his days and nights from that point forward training in martial arts and boxing to become stronger and faster and more able to bring in the bounties that haunted him each night as he tried to sleep. There were so many out there, so much money waiting to be had. If he had the money, nothing like what happened to his family when his brother died could ever happen again, nothing like that would ever be his fault, never again.

Jinsu closed his eyes for a moment before pushing off the wall and returning to the bed were he lay down and closed his eyes for the sleep he'd planned on getting when Vex showed up earlier. That woman certainly had something about her that caught and kept Jin's attention. Maybe it was her spunk, or the fact that she didn't seem to fear or hate him when everyone else did. Either way, he was here for one thing and one thing only, Regan's bounty. Maybe he'd get lucky and be able to take them both in together. His eyes drifted shut as he fell asleep, his deep frown finally fading.

-----

Only a short time later Jin shot up in bed as sweat beaded on his brow. He was panting heavily and his eyes were wide as he recalled the nightmare he'd had. He was fighting someone, a man, for his brother's life, but he wasn't strong enough even in his current state. The man was winning and then suddenly his brother was dangling off the edge of a cliff, but Jin couldn't make it past the man he was fighting in time and just as he lunged to grab his brother's hand, his brother fell. Jin lay at the edge of the cliff reaching out to him as he plummeted to his death, and it had been all his fault once again.

Jin wiped at the sweat as he stood, catching a glimpse of the photo that was still laying on the bed. He couldn't look at it anymore. He grabbed his duffel and moved to the bathroom where he rinsed his face with cool water before putting on a shirt. He chose something fitting and plain, that wouldn't get in the way when he killed Regan. He emerged from the bathroom with one hand haphazardly in his front pocket, while the other reached up to rub the back of his neck as he passed by the window that overlooked the garden.

He stopped at the window, staring down at the garden just as someone entered it. It was Vex. He watched her for a moment before realizing he'd begun to smile. Turning away from the window, he exited his room and casually descended the stairs on his way to the garden. He needed Vex to tell him where Regan was, and possibly lure him out of the Inn as well. He was sure it's magic would stop him from harming anyone inside it.

~~~*~~~*~~~
Once she exited the kitchen Vex headed straight for the door. She needed some fresh air and to get away from everyone for a moment to try and clear her thoughts. When she figured them out, she would find Jin and try to talk him out of what he'd planned to do. All the while, she lugged the bottle of liquor with her, taking a small sip every now and again to calm her nerves.
As she stepped into the garden the faint sound of voices caught her attention as she looked out towards the pond where some of the others seemed to be relaxing. Moving further into the garden where she couldn't be seen, Vex couldn't help but notice how much more relaxed the place made her feel. Or maybe that was the liquor she was drinking. She shook her head at herself. She was supposed to stop drinking, but who could blame her? Velma would blame her... Vex found herself frowning. What does Velma know anyway.
She found a stone bench and sat, before taking a swig from the bottle and laying down to stare up at the clouds as they passed by. The bottle rested on her stomach as she held it in place with one hand, her other stroking at a patch of flowers beside her. One leg dangled off the bench, kicking slowly and thoughtfully as she become lost in her own thoughts. It was a beautiful day. The temperature was perfect, and the breeze held the scent of rain.
After a few moments the scuffing sound of a foot brought her back to reality as she sat up quickly, knocking the bottle to the ground as it shattered. She stood to face Jinsu with a relieved sigh. "You're really sneaky, you know?" she said with a small frown that soon faded as she wondered what he'd searched her out for. Jin's mischievous half smile returned, "Why are you so jumpy?" he asked, "Have you been misbehaving?" He reached forward and grabbed onto the strand of pearls that dangled down and open around Vex's neck. With a small tug, he pulled her into him, unable to stop himself from kissing her.
Unable to respond before Jin pulled her into a kiss, Vex melted into it. Suddenly all of her worries and stresses were entirely gone. When he stopped, she opened her amethyst eyes in disappointment as the stresses and worries returned. Finally she responded. "I haven't said anything to Regan if that's what you mean." She looked out into the distance at the dark and ominous rain clouds that seemed to be forming not too far away. Would they blow right past them or were they in for a storm? Either way, Vex knew there was a storm brewing at the Inn.
"Where is Regan?" Jin asked. Vex sighed as she reached up and began to fumble nervously with her necklace. "You know Jin, there are other ways to make money," she started, and they didn't have to be legit ways, she should know. "Regan is my friend, and he's fallen in love here at the Inn," she paused, "It just doesn't seem right to take him away, just for the money." Wow she was one to talk. Of all people to be lecturing someone on morals. Her amethyst eyes found Jin again as they seemed to plead for him to reconsider.
Suddenly Jin's mischievous smile faded, and he was left with an angry frown. Was she not going to tell him where Regan was? Reaching out again he grabbed onto her arm roughly, "Vexaline I told you not to get in my way, where is he?" He seemed to tower over her now and his eyes seemed dark and cold as his grip grew tighter. Was Regan still inside the Inn? She didn't know. Maybe he'd left, but that was unlikely. Maybe she should tell him he was somewhere he wasn't, but staring up into Jin's cold eyes told her that too was a very bad idea.
She averted her eyes, unable to stare into his any longer before whispering, "No, I won't tell you Jin, I can't." In the next moment, Jin reached up and backhanded her, never releasing his grip on her arm. "Tell me Vexaline, I don't want to have to hurt you," and that was the truth. He really didn't want to hurt Vex, but she did need to learn her place and he needed to get to Regan before he left the Inn. In reality, his strike hadn't fazed Vex. It wouldn't be the first time she'd been beaten up on. When she remained silent, Jin reached out and grabbed onto her other arm, giving her a shake as he got into her face, "I won't hesitate to kill you, too, woman," he said coldly, as the realization sunk into Vex that he did in fact plan to harm Regan.
Rida found himself frowning a little in concentration, lips moving silently as he mouthed Luce's name. Of course he was also curious about the names the followed, wondering if that meant he had a last name. Rida couldn't recall his anymore, the first mistress telling him he couldn't have one anymore because he was a pet, an animal, and her slave. Well she may not have said that he was her slave exactly, but it certainly seemed like it anyway. Looking up when he spoke of why he was upset, the neko wondered if he was talking about the pretty princess girl he saved this morning, or if it was Loki. They had seemed rather close sometimes.
He'd just been about to sleep, head dropping as if about to lean against the older demon's shoulder, but when the kelpie showed up and introduced himself, he 'woke' up. Almost unconsciously knowing that little Coral might get scared again, since there was now more people showing up, he brought his knees up more, tightening his hold on her. Its not that he didn't trust them, he did to an extent, but Coral was tiny, had been through a lot, and it had been hard enough to get her calmed down and into his lap. As well, even with Luce helping to heal her like he had, Rida found himself worried that if she got too scared, she'd run off again and get hurt. "Hello Frewen." He greeted softly, busying himself with gently pulling the leaves and twigs from the Pixie's hair.
Nurya glanced at the little human, sneering. She honestly thought that tiny apology was going to placate him? Rolling his eyes, he chuckled a little. "Tell me, human pest, why you apologize to me, when really you should be apologizing to my host? Did you not, after all, anger her to the point that she willingly allowed a demon to take over her body and her powers? Especially a fire phoenix demon that hates humans?" Oh he knew he was goading her, poking at the dying embers of her anger, but he couldn't help it. Arcis had grown on him, she was only the second human he had given a second glance to, and here this little brat of a girl was being a nervous wreck over being in the prescence of demons because she had acted without decorum? Bah, she should've feared them just because of what they were; demons.
Though, and he was pretty sure that about now his eyes were glinting with obvious mischief, he leaned so that he was looking at Priscilla directly in her eyes. He knew a sure fire way to get to her, and keep himself entertained. Waiting a few moments, knowing it'd make the girl nervous, he grinned, showing teeth, before striking. One hand came up to tightly cradle her chin as he firmly pressed his, Arcis's, lips against the girls, tongue peeking out to swipe against hers before he pulled away and took a few steps back, grin never faltering.
Aine sighed a little as she slept, snuggling closer to Ciar to stay as she was even as she felt herself waking. Groaning softly, she got up and sleepily made her way to the bathroom to take care of a few things. Feeling slightly more awake, she didn't stumble as much as she walked back to the bed, climbing back on and scooting so that she was once more snuggled into his side. Feeling slightly more comfortable, now that she'd unraveled the small buns, the fae found it easier to sleep on her side, cuddled up to his side with him sleeping on his back, and using his chest as her new pillow. Humming contentedly, she found it easy to let herself fall back asleep.
Des had watched the man she had talked to earlier leave the pond. She let out a small nod"Nice to meet you Frewen"she let out a smile once again not exposing her fangs. A sudden wind blew in as if a storm come in and her black hair blew wildly around her face. "Stupid wind"she groaned and was going to remind herself to eventually get a haircut. After she had straightened out her long hair she had noticed one of the trees suddenly becoming a person and her eyes grew wide in awe.
Loki was chewing his bottom lip when Regan came to him. He was standing behind the bar, just watching. Actually, the wolf was waiting. Ears twitched at the slightest sound, and his red eyes were glowing slightly. Loki's body was tense, but only just slightly. He looked at Regan, just watching the vampire for a moment. "I'll take care of everything, so don't worry." He flashed Regan a reassuring smile, though it was more predatory than reassuring.
Luce smiled slightly when Frewen came to them. He had withdrew his hand once his life force had entered Coral to heal her. The slight smile didn't remain on Luce's lips very long. "I am sorry Frewen, it seems you may have to wait a little while longer." He spoke the words quietly with a soft sigh. Now both hands held those two flowers to his heart for a few moments before he lowered them to his lap. He watched those around him for a few moments and then tilted his head back to look at the sky. He hadn't noticed the female that Desdemona seemed to have notice, normally such a thing would not get past Luce's senses. He just stared almost listlessly up at the sky trying to figure out what to do. Sikura was in pain and he wanted nothing more than to take that pain, but how could he when he was the one that caused it? Surely he would only make things worse for her.
Coral blinked owlishly at Luce. "I sorry," she whispered to him. It wasn't ever good to make a friend sad because it made you sad to. When he extended his hand to her she looked at it cautiously, wondering what he was going to do. One of her hands grabbed some of Rida's shirt and she squeezed. But then when his fingers started to glow blue she turned curious and let go. Sticking her hand out she touched his hand with her tiny finger and gasped. Her whole body was glowing now and she could feel all of her pain going away.
Sitting up straight in Rida's arms she pushed the hair off her forehead and delicately touched where her nasty gash had been. When she felt that it was gone she rubbed at it and then broke out in a smile. Coral let out a squeal of delight and smack her hands to her forehead. Then turning her head around quickly she let out another squeal at the sight of her newly healed wing. It was buzzing along perfectly with the other. "Ank you!" She squealed, in her happiness a bunch of daisies sprung up all around her new second best friend.
Laying her head back down on Rida's chest she nuzzled her head under his chin again. When everyone started to show up she was thankful that his arms tightened around her. The big man from the water was scary, but she wasn't as scared anymore. He seemed less frightening after he introduced himself. Coral's burst of energy a second ago had drained her completely. Bringing up a small fist she rubbed one of her eyes sleepily and yawned. Soon her arm dropped and she was asleep. But she would wake up again soon. Pixies didn't sleep much and when they did their energy quickly returned.
"Nurya..now where have I heard that before," came out of Phaedra's mouth. She had heard the name before but for the life of her she couldn't place it. When the human gave her name she gave her a small nod. "Nice to meet you Priscilla," again her tone had a bite of ice in it. It was just really hard for the demoness to actually care. As a being of ice you tended to feel like ice. Then when Priscilla apologized she let out a snort and crossed her arms.
As Nurya began speaking again Phaedra was enthralled. A fire phoenix demon? Oh this was wonderful it was like her other half was stand next to her. She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. Fire and Ice, this could be interesting. Watching his actions to the human she burst out in a fit of laughter. "Oh my have I come to the right place. Does it ever get dull here?" An icy grin was playing on her face as she chuckled once more.
Gathering herself up, the young woman flashed a glare at the ... She supposed he was a man, though he resided in Arcis's body at the moment. "I was apologizing to her, and to you. That seems to have escaped your notice. She can hear what I say, can't she?" Shaking her head, the brunette didn't dare turn her back after seeing a strange look slip into his eyes. What did he plan on doing to her, this demon who hated humans by his own admission?
As he stepped forward, Priscilla looked at him defiantly with her golden eyes. As Nurya grinned, the young woman wondered what in the world he was planning. Then her chin was captured, and her eyes widened in panic. "Wh.." The beginning of her question was cut off as lips pressed against her own. If the demon hadn't backed away, she'd have made him somehow. Though now that he had, she could only bring up a trembling hand to her lips. Was that what it felt like to be kissed?
Shaking her head, Priscilla tried to shove the memory of what it felt like aside. Moving forward she raised a hand for the second time and pushed forward with all her strength. This was no slap, but a punch and one with the force of an angered and confused young woman behind it. "How dare you steal away my first kiss!" The words leaped out without any conscious thought. She hadn't meant to declare such a thing aloud. Priscilla's one minded concentration on the demon before her drowned out what Phaedra had said.
The blue haired kelpie looked up at Luce with concern as he spoke. "It's alright I just want to know that you'll be back to your old self. Who else is going to keep me out of trouble and tolerate me the way you do Luce?" Turning away a little, he glanced at the little pixie with a small smile. She was so excited to be healed! And that was when he noticed it.
Flowers, bright flowers, had popped up all over him. Blinking incredulously the kelpie plucked at them a little before grinning. It looked like he was going to be starting a new fashion statement. They were useful too. Plucking up a few flowers, he handed them out to the people sitting around. Rida, Luce, Desdemona, one for the little pixie and the newest arrival too. Each time he bowed exaggeratedly to each person with a huge smile. That done he returned to his previous seat.
With a frown the vampire sighed. "Loki, I can take care of myself." He would have gone on about what he'd already gone trough but decided against it. Besides, the redhead was just a little glad that the wolf wanted to protect him so. It soothed away even more of the worry he'd once had, so that now it was nothing more then a tiny spec. Leaning against the bar now, Regan turned his blue eyes to Loki with a malicious smile. "We could always take care of it together." Though killing the man was out of the question, it seemed like Vex might have some regard for him.
Loki reached out and grabbed Regan's hand, giving it a squeeze for a moment before he let go. Those red eyes sweeping over the inside of the Inn for a moment before he turned to the bottles on the shelves behind him. He grabbed two bottles and began to mix himself a drink. Just one, he didn't need anything to cloud up his senses. The bottles were replaced and Loki tossed the drink back quickly, his nose wrinkling just slightly at the strong mixture. He set the glass aside. "You might get hurt, and I won't allow that." The wolf had turned to look at Regan, he was serious, there would be no arguing with Loki.
Luce seemed to be in his own world. He had noticed the flowers that had sprung up around him and all over Frewen, since the Kelpie was covered in water and sitting so close to him. It brought another brief smile to his lips, but his attention was on the sky. Just watching clouds float lazily by with the breeze. "Frewen, could you go inside and check on Sikura? She is probably in her room." His gaze flickered from the sky to the kelpie. He wouldn't be angry if Frewen refused, but it would ease his mind some to know that someone was talking to Sikura. Comforting him because he knew he couldn't.
"And what do you think I would feel like if you got hurt defending me?" Towering over the other man now with his greater height, Regan looked down at Loki stubbornly. He knew that this would be a difficult argument, in all probability he would lose. At least giving it a try might ease his mind a little later on. The argument with himself was definitely a futile one. It wouldn't make a difference at all.
Head popping up to look at Luce, Frewen nodded. "Of course." Standing, the kelpie waved gladly at everyone before jogging off towards the Inn. His mind was filled with worry for two people. They were both friends, though one he had known longer then the other. Luce was miserable, and in all probability Sikura was too.
Still running, he leaped trough the common room and jogged up the stairs. He knew the Inn would show him the way in some manner. And it did, with small flashes of light pointing the way to one particular room. Slipping inside quietly, Frewen moved towards the bed. "Sikura?" He dared not move closer without her acknowledgment.
Sikura laid on her bed and closed her eyes as she had run out of tears for the moment. Her hands clenching the bed she had shared with Luce. She was a bit pale from her crying and her lips were dry from not drinking anything. An empty plate with smears that had once been food on her nightstand. The young woman just laid there on her bed gazing out the window. Her rose that Aine gave her starting to close up in sorrow. Sikura didn't flinch or even give Frewen a glance as he entered her room. She wanted what she couldn't have and had what she didn't want. The young woman just laid on her side as another tear got the courage to fall.
Everest watched as Frewen ran into the house. She wondered if that was he covered in the pixie's flowers or something that Luce had said to him. Her green eyes looked over the neko boy and the pixie. The vampire didn't interest her much and stayed close to her barked kin. She moved closer to them to gain the use of the language that escaped her moss covered tongue at the moment.
Carefully moving to sit down on the bed, the kelpie plucked a remaining flower from his hair and placed it delicately in front of her face. Frewen sighed a little, finding this a little difficult. He knew his usual happy go lucky demeanor wouldn't help this situation at all. "Hurting you was never his intention. Luce can't help what he is. He needs a certain type of energy the same way I need water." Reaching out the blue haired man whipped away the tear and let his hand warm her cheek for a moment before putting it upon his lap. She was hurting so badly ... Frewen didn't know why, but he wanted to gather up Sikura in his arms to give her a hug but it just didn't seem like the right time.
Her eyes went to the flower as she let go of her bed and picked up the little daisy. Sikura stroked its petals as she closed her eyes and sat up on the bed and looked at Frewen. She blushed and wiped her red eyes as she looked the flower in her hand. "I understand that he needs the energy but...I feel like I've been strung along. Like even a demon can't love me. Am I just doomed to be alone?" The young woman looked at the kelpie and wiped another tear from her face. "I don't know what to do. I feel like I can't even face him right now."
Loki just shook his head. "I will protect you. I won't let you get hurt, not by anyone or anything." The wolf stared at Regan hard. Regan was his mate, a part of his family, there was no way he would let anything happen to the vampire. Loki wasn't planning on killing Jinsu either, but if it came down to it, the wolf wouldn't hesitate to end that man's life to protect his mate. Or anyone of his friends and those he considered family. Loki was a creature that was quick to put his life on the line for others, it was in his nature and he couldn't really go against such a thing. "I'm stronger than I look. I can handle a human easily." All this waiting for Jin to come down and make his move had Loki a little restless. The wolf was tempted to bring the fight up to that man.
Blinking a little in confusion, the kelpie tried to decide what to do next. Giving in to his earlier urge, he loosely put his arms around the tearful young woman. "Sikura, I'm sure you'll find someone. As for facing him ... Why not take some time to relax, and maybe get your smile back?" An idea suddenly popping into mind, the kelpie waited till the Inn provided a bowl of water for his uses. Removing an arm from the brunette, his hand went to hover over the water, slowly shaping it into the shape of a delicate fish. It swam around Sikura in lay circles until finally moving to rest upon the side table and freezing there. That took more effort, but if it made her smile then it would be worth it.
Growling angrily, Regan moved forward to grab Loki's arm lightly. "You want to protect me, I understand that.. And I know you can take him, you could probably take me down as well, but I don't want to see you hurt Loki. That would hurt me more then any kind of physical pain." Searchingly looking into the wolf's red eyes, the vampire hoped he'd gotten trough to the stubborn wolf. Bending down he pressed a soft kiss to his neck, then pulled back while still keeping a hand upon Loki's arm. Regan looked around the seemingly deserted Inn before returning his gaze to Loki.
She hugs the kelpie and nods as she closed her eyes. Sikura smiled and looked at the fish that Frewen made for her. "That's amazing Frewen." Her eyes went to him as she hugged him again. "Thank you so much for caring about me." The young woman said as she kissed his cheek and standing to go wash her face. Sikura came back and sat down on her bed and stroked the daisy. "Think I should talk to him so soon?" She asked softly. The young woman wanted to see Luce even though her heart was still aching.
Loki blinked when Regan grabbed his arm, frowning just slightly. "I won't get hurt, he's just a human." Loki had scoffed lightly, shivering a bit at the kiss to his neck. "I'll be fine, and you'll be fine. Don't worry so much. You're my mate, it's my duty to protect you from any and all harm." Loki moved closer to Regan, capturing the vampire's lips with his own. His lips lingered there for a few moments longer than necessary before he pulled back. "You worry too much." He was smiling at Regan, a mostly reassuring smile. More or less. That predatory gleam still in his eyes, Loki was a bit excited for a fight, but he was trying not to let it show.
Managing to pull out the last twig, at least as far as he could tell, Rida smiled when she yawned and fell asleep. She really looked as if she could use it earlier, so he was glad she was comfortable now. Reaching out to pick up the shirt he'd been working on, the neko pouted as he realised he'd have to move a bit to reach it. Sighing a little, he held the tiny pixie in place as he sat up, snagged the shirt, leaning back once more. Pulling the needle out from where he'd placed it, he worked on sewing the grommets into place on the other side, liking how the bright and shiny silver stood out from the dark purple of the top. He was planning to then thread a black satin ribbon through the hoops, undecided on whether he'd make the bow on the top or the bottom. Lost to his work, one of his ears twitched in the direction of the strange female, the other seemingly locked onto Luce, incase the demon needed him for anything.
Nurya glanced at the ice demoness, wondering how she would have heard of his name. He didn't think he'd gotten that popular. His thoughts were quickly interrupted as he stumbled back, pain blossoming in his cheek. "Fuckin-A!!!" He shouted out, one hand coming up to cover the injured flesh, the eye above it closed, giving perfect and complete viewing of the mark there, the other glaring heavily at the girl. "Maybe there is real bite to you. But seeing as I need to educate you..." Nurya let his words trail off as he stood to full height, knowing that he was now taller than the girl, one hand reaching out to grip her throat. "When the human host give control, their conscious goes to sleep. As well, if we weren't at this Inn, in the real world, I could, and would, kill you without a thought. Next time, consider your place in the world, human." He sneered the last word, letting her go as if touching her had burned him. Nodding to the ice demoness, he turned to leave. "Excuse me." He needed to relax, his feet quickly leading him to a secluded spot, a moderate distance fom the neko he'd seen earlier, and the demon he liked.
Returning her hugs, the teal eyed kelpie smiled as she did. She truly did have a nice smile. For some reason, when Sikura's lips brushed against his cheek he could feel a light tinge of pink appear. Frewen rolled his eyes at himself as the young woman went to wash her face. Meanwhile, he glanced down at the bucket beside the bed and wrinkled his nose. It was a good thing the Inn took care of things like that, making it disappear. "You should speak to him sometime, he's miserable." Stating the truth bluntly but gently, the kelpie watched quietly as Sikura held the flower he'd given her.
Regan's eyes brightened with happy emotions, though he was still worried for Loki's safety. Wrapping his arms around Loki with a smile, the vampire leaned into the kiss. A soft sigh left him when the dark haired male retreated, though he chuckled at his words. "Alright, fight him and protect me but if any harm comes to you I will not stand on the sidelines. Understand?" Passing a hand over Loki's soft ears affectionately, the vampire hopped this could last. He didn't want the arguments from before coming back, he was terrified of that.
The nerve of him! Rubbing her throat, Priscilla had to admit that she'd been terrified, but just a little exhilarated too. It seemed like she was picking up a taste for danger, a dangerous thing in and of itself. Shaking her head, she sighed and looked to Phaedra with an apologetic smile. "Well, that didn't go as I expected. Forgive my outburst, but having my first kiss stolen in such a way is not a pleasant experience." The only thing keeping her running after Nurya was the fact that if she did so, Phaedra would be alone. She did so want to give him a good piece of her mind, or did she? Priscilla wasn't sure anymore, and here she'd been thinking her emotions about Rida had been confusing.
Sikura looked at Frewen and sighed as she nodded. "You're right. Where is he?" Her eyes stayed on the daisy and stroked its petals. She was not sure if she was ready to see him again but Frewen said he was miserable and this made the young woman sad. If this could make him feel a little better, then she wanted to help. Sikura stood in front of him and looked at herself. "Think I should change?" Her eyes went to a dress that the inn had put in her closet. She smiled and walked back into the bathroom before he could answer. The pale yellow dress highlighted her figure and brightened her features as she braided her hair. "How do I look?"
