Ten days seem like a really long time though, I remember being exhausted by the end of it because of all the scrambling to post and etc. throughout the event.

it is a really long time, to be honest, your fingers get so tired ;p
but when it was super active it was fun.
I think it is more to help people have time for their families and friends in real life.
who knows it may not be that long this time
I will be happy with even a mini-event
I think I prefer them to a long event
I think it is easier on the pixelist <3
and I personally love small pages of special event commons and rare

I wonder if there are any new items at all, but I wouldn't mind even if there weren't. I'd just be happy to have more people to chat with.

gotta love winter storms

I am not a fan of driving in the rain. Having to put on a raincoat and getting the legs of my pants and shoes wet is a pain in the butt.

O yeah that's an awful feeling being wet all day long and shivering.

Yeah, I like storms and rain, but only when I'm not in the middle of one.

I don't like storms. I always worry about it starting a tornado or something @.@

When you live in tornado areas they can, yeah lol depending on the type of storm. I hate hearing wind. IM FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS ALL WE WERE TRAINED FOR WERE EARTHQUAKES. AND EVEN THEN IT WAS JUST TO GET UNDER A DESK.

...Actually, in the event of an earthquake, sometimes getting under a desk isn't a good method...like, if it were small debris then yeah it's fine, but if something large (like, the ceiling) comes down you'll just be flattened. I think the best place to hide is near a pillar and then hope that when something crashes down it'll be at an angle and you'd be sheltered under the angle.

Well yeah xD But we honestly didn't even get bad earth quakes in my area, it was just like the only major natural disaster thing we had to worry about. And there was never a drought so fires weren't as big a deal as in California either. We still had some wild fires, but yeah, not to the same magnitude.

I haven't ever been in the path of a full fledged tornado but it's one of my biggest fears. Because they're so unpredictable. Like hurricanes are awful and can cause so much devastation too, but at least you know it's coming, tornados just pop up out of nowhere and go wherever they want

I don't think we're capable of having large tornadoes where I live...on an island... The destruction would likely be less than it would be in the states too, since most of our houses are made out of concrete. But then again there are a lot of flimsily made roofs around so those might just blow away and then come crashing down...

I think our most major threats are typhoons and earthquakes, since we're on the edge of a...uh, two blocks of earth? I forgot what the term is.

Tectonic plates? xD you're on a fault line? Earthquakes definitely do more damage over there than here. Well, most of the US anyway, California again xP
