Her elbow connected with his thigh as she mock-glared at him. "Shuddap~" Anna couldn't help but smile a bit, though, as she added, "I think it's just 'cause I confided in him, and that's why he decided to trust me." With a light shrug, she turned around, her hips resting against the edge of the table lightly as she added, "A case of give and take, I think. I wouldn't have a clue on why else he'd like me so much."

Drew laughed as he ruffled Anna's hair, "You really are as oblivious as Saiyuri, you know that?"

Finch shoved open the door, Norris right behind him, and hobbled over towards the two students, "What are ye brats sittin' around fer? Don't ye got work t' do? 50 points from each house if ye don' have it dun right!"

Nodding at the table closer to the door, Anna smiled warmly, "See for yourself, Mr. Finch. I think we did a good job. Also," holding up a stone jar, she added, "These are the ingredients for Professor Snape - I don't think we should leave them lying around, my guess is that they need to be dried."

Still smiling kindly at the hold man as he hobbled over to the table with a grunt, Anna whispered to Drew from the corner of her mouth, "I am not oblivious, shush. And he can't actually deduct points, can he?"

"You are oblivious, and no he can't. But he can lie to Snape and have him take points away," he whispered back.

"Alright, missy, enough o' yer lip! Go do what you need to and get back to the Potions room, yer Professor's waitin' fer ye," Finch grunted as he walked back out of the Greenhouse, Mrs. Norris following along behind.

Sticking out her tongue at Finchs' back, Anna turned to Drew with a slight pout. "I wasn't even beginning to give him lip! Honestly, you try being nice, and this is what you get." She was smiling again in a second, though, and she stepped away from the table to give Drew some room to get off. "Let's hurry to Snape so we can go sleep. It's been an emotional day for all of us."

Drew laughed as he jumped down and ruffled Anna's hair before walking out the door with a wave, "You can bring everything since you know what we need and what we don't!"

"Oy!" Quickly gathering the jar of seeds in her arm, she ran after him, kicking his butt lightly as she neared him. "I'm not your maid."

Drew laughed as he ruffled her hair again, "Looks like you've got it under control, don't you? Or is the jar too heavy?" he teased.

Wrinkling her nose lightly, she said, "Oh yeah, mock the person who is holding the ticket out of these detensions." Pushing her hairband back in place, Anna huffed, "Messing up my hair, honestly~"

Drew smirked as he wrapped his arm around Anna's shoulders, pulling her close, and ruffling her hair again with his other hand. Laughing as he released her, he darted ahead, "You're as touchy about your hair as Leane is! Looks like you two've been spending some time together too! Besides, detention's not bad if there's fun involved!" he added with a wink as he glanced behind him at Anna.

Laughing, Anna caught up to him, reaching out to ruffle his hair in return before jumping ahead of him. "The only time Leane and I've spend together, has been spend with the both of us bickering. And yeah, detentions' not too bad. Beat you to the Potions room?"

Drew laughed as he raced after her, "Not going to happen, I'm faster!" As he raced past her, he called behind him, "Besides, you and Leane better start liking each other seeing as how she and Fynn are finally together after all these years!"

Following him as best as she can, she called back, "Hey, I don't even like him much! What do I care?" Sticking out her tongue to show that she was just joking, she rounded a corner, before following Drew down the stairs.

Drew laughed as he teased over his shoulder, "I'll tell him that the next time I see him!"

"I think he already knows," Anna laughed in return, hopping over the railings of the stairs and dropping neatly next to Drew, before starting to run again - though by no means keeping up. "So feel free to do so!"

Drew laughed as he slowed down, "Nah, no sense in telling what he already knows! Where's the fun in that?" Slowing down to a walk, he smiled, "You know, I think those two will be quite happy together if they can learn to trust the others' feelings. Their biggest problem now is trying to decide whether what the other is feeling is true or not. Think they'll figure out each others love before it's too late?"

With a light shrug, Anna came to a halt aswell, her chest heaving lightly as she tried to slow her heart down. "I dunno..." With a light sigh, she added, "It's very difficult to receive love - a lot harder then it is to give it. Look at yourself. You loved Saiyuri, but never felt like you were worth it. At the same time, she loved you, but felt you were only with her because you felt obliged to. It's not so much about knowing how much someone loves you, but rather, risking your heart by letting it be vulnerable." Her hand still on her heart, the brunette's eyes were on the floor, thinking a lot more sincerely then such a question should've caused her to.

"It's taking the leap that has us most so frightened. And I think, with Fynn and Leane... one of them jumped, and the other followed. There'll be problems, but if they keep loving eachother, it should be alright." With a light grin she looked up, and tapped her cheek, "Nante~" [Somehow~]

Drew smiled, "You've got a point. From the look of Leane tonight, I'd say she already took the leap. Usually when she's around a friend and her boyfriend, she doesn't act as if she's dating him; more like he's just another friend she's hanging out with; no affection. But tonight, when she was with Fynn, man, could you tell she loved him."

Laughing, he shook his head slightly, "Bu~ut the dumbass lost his temper and in turn set Leane off. It was about all I could do to pry her hands off me as she was crying. I sure hope the dumbies made up and he made her realize just how much she means to him. If he doesn't soon, he'll lose her again. Guess we'll know tomorrow at breakfast hm?"

"Yeah well, in a relationship, arguments still happen. I think they won't have it easy no matter what, being a Gryffindor prefect and a Slytherin one." Yawning, she glanced at her surroundings, though not really recognizing any. "Are we almost there?"

Drew nodded, "Yeah, it's just around that corner up there and down a few rooms. As for the houses, that won't be too tough for them I don't think. I mean, they've been in love with each other even though they're in rival houses; they mustn't care to some degree. Ah well, I wish them both the best of luck no matter what. I'd hate to see Leane fall apart again.. I honestly don't think she'd recover this time; especially with Saiyuri gone."

"She is rather fragile, I've noticed," Anna agreed softly, her head tilted to the side lightly as she was thinking. "Though I think we can trust Fynn... after all, if Leane's heart is broken, his will do the same thing." Rounding the last corner at a leisure pace, she clarified, "Also, I don't mean to say that they'll have problems amongst themselves, but rather, that there'll be a bunch of gossip. Both Fynn and Leane are attractive people, I'm sure they both have some secret admirers in their own houses, and in others. I'm more worried about others' comments, then their own doubts."

Drew laughed, "Bloody hell, I completely forgot about all the admirers! You're right, both have quite a few from all four houses; especially among the older students. They'll definitely have a field day and rumors will surely spread about each. I think they can handle it though. It seems that after all these years, the bond between them hasn't broken no matter what the one's done or said to hurt the other. If they manage not to wear Leane down with stress and cause her to flip her lid due to Saiyuri being gone, they should be fine. Hopefully," he added as an after thought as he ran his hand through his hair and approached a door to the right of them and knocked.

Coming to a halt next to him, Anna nodded lightly, giving a warm smile at Drew. "Hopefully."

It didn't take long for a very surly looking Severus Snape to open the door, his usual bored expression taking a turn for the worse thanks to the added tension of the start of the school year. "You're done? Where's Finch?" His eyes glanced at both sides of the hallway, but finding it deserted, they soon fell back on Drews' calm face, and Anna's beaming smile in annoyance.

"Mr. Finch told us to come see you, sir," the brunette immediatly replied, her voice nothing but calm cheerfulness and mild respect. "These are the seeds you needed. Are we done with our detention now, sir?"

After taking the jar and looking over the seeds, he nodded, "Yes. Head back to your dormitories immediately. If any prefect finds either of you in the hallway in ten minutes, you will both lose fifty-points, is that clear?"

Drew nodded, "Yes, Professor."

Snape eyed them both before closing the door and returning to his work.

Drew sighed, "That man really needs to get out more. He's even worse when Saiyuri's not around. Seeing as how he's the one making the potions, he's worried she'll run out soon."

Soon, he turned and walked back the way he came, "You think Sai will take them like she's supposed to? She tends to forget them and lets herself get to the point to where her eyes are lavender... You don't think she'd do that do you? You think she'll be more careful now that I'm not with her?"

Pensively looking at the closed door in front of her, it took Anna a while to reply to Drew. "I don't know... I hope so..." It was as if she'd discovered some fabulously intricate pattern in the wood, the way the brunette was looking at the closed door - and it took quite a while for her to put the first step towards Drew, following him out through the dungeon hallways.
