Seems to be the same throughout Cali. Better in some spots more than others. I think the town next to me is actually down to $4.15

Lucky them. D: That's 20 cents cheaper the cheapest I've seen in the last year or so. D:

It was below $4 for awhile, but its been going up and down like crazy lately. Sadly, though, the area in which i'll be transferring to for college has really bad gas prices. When we were visiting in April, their prices were between. $4.47 and $4.55

Me too! T^T

I miss the old gas prices so much. I just can't afford these gas prices. It seems like all of my pay checks go to gas alone. -_-

I think that I'll be spending a bit of time riding the motorcycle this summer, since it gets much better gas mileage.

Gas prices should encourage people to take the bus more, or walk or bike more, or maybe think about alternative fuel vehicles.

Whenever I learn to drive and my parents get me a car, I'll choose one that is a hybrid or plug in or something.

hmm... gas prices do not encourage because the facilities for bus, bike, and walking are not that great.

Not when any other mode of transportation adds an additional hour to time traveled D:

alternative fuel vehicles are also more expensive than gas powered vehicles. also, the people that sell the battery operated cars are not sure exactly when the battery goes bad.. since the technology is so new.

I live in a very small town that is further away from anything, so any mode of transportation besides a vehicle of your own is rather sucky. Buses only come in like twice a day, and a bike would take you hours to get where you're going.

As for a hybrid, I would love to have one, but they're far too expensive for us poor folk. :lol:

@ Sei - Yeah, well thats largely contributed to the fact that you're on an island, and one that has many tourists, no less. :yes:

Yeah. I mean if it takes me 40 minutes to get school, with the bus that's like double 80 minutes D: which means getting up even early and gah. Driving just simplifies it really.

They'll like stop the bus driver and take like 5 minutes asking for directions. Clock's ticking! Have to be somewhere!

In Ohio, gas is under $4. We were at 3.59 before Memorial day.

Alternative fuels and hybrids are too expensive.

Biking or walking can only get you so far and they double travel time.

Oh man. I'm so jealous, reaper. :drool: I wish gas prices were like that over here! I mean, even so its still a lot for gas, but so much better than what we're paying right now. @__@;;

And I personally hate riding buses. I had to take the college bus to school everyday for 2 semesters, and I wanted to die from it. The people on it were horrible, and annoying, and often smelling extremely bad. And I had to get up at 5 am and be on the bus at 6am, and it wouldn't leave campus until 3:30pm and I wouldn't get home until 5pm. It was awful. I have found a rather strong hatred of buses since that. >_>;;
