Oh my... last night was horrible. I showed up to work and there was nowhere to walk. ><

I mean the ground was covered with freight. Day shift wasn't doing their work, and there was no way to get it all done in eight hours.

Sounds like some of the places I've worked at. Then again, with how little people get paid at jobs like that, it's no wonder they don't care enough to put forth their best effort.

Yeah...not something I learned in ROTC, that's for sure.

Hopefully I'll be able to at least get a job over the summer. There's a bookstore in a town close to me that I REALLY wanna work at!

I've always wanted to work for a book store. Never had the opportunity. I think if I end up getting with someone who's super wealthy then I'll drop my current job and work somewhere like that. I'd love it.

I'm honestly not entirely sure if working at a bookstore would be the best idea, considering how I'm such a bookworm.

Fey: indeed! That's pretty much the general consensus for why people don't put forth the effort at Walmart. The guy that does electronics never puts TV's up on the shelves because 'they're heavy and no one buys them' despite the fact that when everyone got their tax refund, the entire city of Muncie went out and bought a big screen TV. People don't label things, and when things are labeled no one reads them. They don't promote the smart people because a manager needs to be a certain kind of dumb. A lot of people have given in to the futility of their roles as associates.

I've never been so happy to soon be unemployed.

Then I feel quite sorry for my cousin. She's working at Wal-mart, and if that's how the one in my area is....yikes.

It means that I can spend a little bit more time on the pages I just drew. And finally finish this chapter. God... I've been working on it for three months. I'm losing my touch.

Consider that a chapter is 20 pages.

Now consider that I used to do a page a day.

I would finish a chapter in less than a month.

Now consider that I am just now finishing a 20-page chapter after working on it for three months.

That's quite a lull in productivity.

Well maybe you'll get your groove back now that you're not working somewhere you hate?

Fey: That's one of my hopes. How can I have a character that controls rock if I've never seen a mountain? xD

Cups: I'm not sure where you're getting at here.

I would be too afraid of what would slip out of my big mouth when people asked for certain book. I would be like, "Are you serious? You want to read that!?"

I get in enough trouble as it is...

LOL! Yes, that would be coming from my mouth as I could hear myself getting fired...
