Oh, really? You're not? I'm a little surprised since I'm usually the one who dislikes everything. Oh, a lot of people don't like them, actually. They're known for disappointing people who thought they were chocolate chip cookies. But I love them more than chocolate chip. Oatmeal raisin reminds me of my daddy because he's the one who introduced me to them. They're his favorite. What cookies do you like?

Oh, but gingerbread… gingerbread is heavenly. So is double chocolate.

my nonni would put mini chocolate chips in them

there are many kinds but this is most like what I am used to, but mine have no icing on top...special hummy kind

table pepper. don't judge. it is very much worth a try.
as long as they aren't iced they are delicious to me.

Limoncello Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients
For 4 Dozen(s)

For the Cookies:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/8 cups sugar
1/4 cup dry Hershey baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup any kind of whiskey
1/2 cup crisco shortening(do not use the butter type)
1/2 cup milk( can use whole or skim)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
For the Frosting:
1/2 pound powdered sugar
2 tablespoons dry baking cocoa
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Cold coffee about 4 to 5 tablespoons and keep adding til it is smooth. You are going to dip the cookies and let the frosting drape over the cookie

my batch has no whiskey or walnuts
though I would eat ones with walnuts ifn a pinch!

I, too, avoid le pepper. The only hot sauce I can handle is Frank's Red Hot sauce with a whopping Scoville rating of approximately 450.
