Drew laughed as he looked over his shoulder at her, "What's wrong? You look as if that door's about to come to life and move if you look at it hard enough."

Her smile was adequately cheerful, but something was still lacking in it - though, had Drew known her longer, he would have noticed; for now, it was still just a hint of something about her smile not being right. "You never know - it might!"

As they headed up the staircases out of the dungeon, Anna asked, "Have none of you gone out of your way to learn how to brew that potion?"

Drew ran his hand through his hair as he spoke, "Heh.. Not exactly. But, it's not for the reasons you're thinking. You see, Mr. Rumeti only trusts Snape to make the potions. Something about the ingredients needing to be precise and if one thing goes wrong it could kill her or something. I honestly don't know the full details, it's not something they'll willingly talk about. Why do you ask?"

"Because there'd be no reason for Snape to worry if he'd instructed someone meticulously on how to brew it," Anna shrugged lightly, her hand resting on the wood of the railings as they walked up the staircases. "I mean, if he had taught Saiyuri himself, had her write down every single step with the utmost care, I'm pretty sure she could just make it herself - Mr. Rumeti be damned."

Drew pondered a bit, "That's true.. but the question is, could she get her hands on the ingredients. They way Rumeti and Snape talk, they're not commonly available. But surely Rumeti or Snape could get them for her... Hmm.. Maybe I should have Sai bring it up to him; he'd listen to her more so than me. Seeing as how he's friends with Rumeti, he's not to fond of me either," he added with a laugh.

Making a face at that, Anna muttered, "People need to stop automatically disliking others. It's so common it annoys me. I would've hoped the wizarding world was less prejudiced then the muggle one, but it seems it was an idle wish."

Drew laughed, "Family lineage almost always takes precedence over how a person truly is in noble families. A person can be the kindest, sweetest person on this planet, yet be hated by many simply because of their lineage. Same goes for the cruelest, most evil person in the world; they can be found amazing and they will readily follow their example simply because of lineage. My lineage isn't exactly the noblest like Saiyuri's or Fynn's lineage. My lineage is more in the form of serving the noble families, mainly the Rumetis."

"I figured," Anna nodded lightly, crossing her arms underneath her chest as she continued walking next to Drew. "But it's complete rubbish. No one chooses their family - both the good and the bad things about them. Whose blood runs through your veins is of no matter."

Drew smiled as he ruffled Anna's hair a bit before putting his arm around her shoulder in a hug, "Don't worry so much. There are still some good people within those circles. Besides, what does it matter who hates you, when the ones you love are all you need and are always there for you?"

With a gentle laugh, she elbowed Drew in the side lightly - barely hurting him. "Ah, but love fairy Anna is just worried it'll keep people from loving the ones they should be loving." Still, it felt nice to be hugged in such a manner, and the brunette relaxed in the one-armed hug. "But oh well, I guess I can't make the world a better place just yet, huh?"

Drew laughed as he let his arm drop back by his side when they reached the hallway that led to their separate common rooms, "No, I suppose not. But, I'm quite confident you'll make a good effort and reform some people at the very least! Don't worry about it too much, you're still young; you've got plenty of time to fix the world. I'll see you in the morning so try and get some sleep okay? Night Anna!" he said as he gave a short wave and a smile before he set off down the hallway that led to the Ravenclaw Tower.

She watched until he dissapeared after a corner, before going her own way towards Gryffindor tower. The common room was still lively, but when she reached her own room, she found it mostly deserted. At ease, Anna changed into her nightgown before crawling into the four poster bed - and, as her head rested on the pristine white pillow, she immediately fell asleep.

Drew sighed as he plopped himself on his bed, not bothering to let down the blankets or change his clothes. Soon, he drifted to sleep, nightmares of Kane and Saiyuri leaking into his dreams as he slept.

As the next morning came around, it found a very tired, but very cheerful Fynn walking down the stairs to the great hall at 7 am - impossibly early for Hogwarts. With his hair neatly tied back, the bangs free, and wearing an impeccably clean uniform, he looked quite dashing - though, of course, Fynn himself couldn't care less.

Carefully he unlocked the door to the great hall, putting the large key in his pocket for now until he could give it back to Professor McGonagall. The house elves setting the table for breakfast all froze as he opened the door, but after recognizing him, continued about their way. His footsteps were the only sound heard as he walked through the mostly empty Great Hall towards the dais with the teachers' table, setting down the key on Professor McGonagalls regular spot, before turning around and walking back out again - this time, to the staircase coming from the dungeons, by which most of the Slytherins' passed; and he calmly rested his shoulders against the wall across from it - waiting for his Leane.

Josh sighed as he walked into the common room and heard from a friend of his that Leane was still sleeping. Nodding towards a mutual friend of theirs, the girl laughed and ran back up the stairs to wake Leane up. Before Leane could wake up and yell like she usually does, he quickly made his way out of the common room, taking his usual route to meet Kalli.

The young girl mentioned, Tatiana, laughed as she saw Leane sprawled on the bed, her hair flowing around her in raven and cotton candy streaks, her hand hanging off the bed, her blankets all entwined through her body. Walking over to her, she shook Leane's shoulder, "Mornin' sleepy head! If you don't get up soon, you're going to miss breakfast!"

With a grown, Leane turned away from Tatiana, "Go away.. tell Josh I'm tired.."

Sighing, Tatiana pulled the blankets out from under Leane, causing her to roll onto the floor. Shifting so she was sitting on her knees, Leane glared at Tatiana, "Tati.. that's not fair!"

"We go through this every morning, one of these days you'll get up on your own and I won't have to do this!"

Both girls laughed as Leane stood up and began changing into her uniform, "Yeah yeah yeah.. you'd better get a move on, I can hear your stomach all the way over here!"

"True, I'm starving!" Tatiana replied nodded and waved goodbye as she walked out of the dormitory and made her way out of the common room, heading for the Great Hall.

Sighing, Leane brushed her hair and teeth before applying her usual make-up. After throwing her hair up into a loose bun, she threw on her robe and shoes and headed out of the common room.

"That's not true!" said Drew as he playfully shoved Liam.

"Sure it is! Yer lost withou' 'er, I can tell! Ye stayed down in the common room starin' a' the staircase, expectin' her t' come bouncin' down like she always does!"

"Oh shut up. I don't miss her that much!" Drew lied as they made their way to the Great Hall, "Bloody hell, Liam, do you always have to harp on me about Saiyuri?"

"O' course I do! Yer me friend after all, ye can't expect me not t' tease ye about yer girlfriend! It's hilarious how yer actin' now tha' she's gone!"

Drew laughed, "What can I say? I'm used to having her around all the time. I miss her."

"I know ye do, I miss her too. But just think, it'll only be fer a month 'r two 'n' then she'll be back!"

"Yeah, your right, besides, there's always talking on the cell I gave her!"

Liam laughed, "Ye always think o' everythin'. Ye'd better tell the gang the next time she calls, they'll kill ye if they don' get a chance t' talk t' her."

Drew nodded as they made their way to their table to sit down, "True, she'll probably call during free period tomorrow."

Kalli smiled as she skipped over to Josh and kissed him, her hand slipping into his.

"How'd you sleep?"

"Pretty well actually! I couldn't stop thinking about you," Kalli teased as they walked down the hall, "How'd you sleep?"

Josh laughed as he kissed the top of her head, "Okay I guess, Leane got in pretty late, looks like we'll be having a new member at our table."

Kalli's eyes widened as she looked up at him, "Really?! Who? Tell me tell me!"

Josh laughed, "You'll see soon enough."

Kalli's lips molded into a pout as she turned away from him. Noticing her pout, he smiled and turned her face back up towards his and kissed her, "Don't give me that look. I don't want to ruin the surprise!"

Kalli rolled her eyes but didn't ask who it was again. Instead, turning the conversation to the trip to Hogsmeade that Saturday.

As people were slowly moving out of their common rooms and into the great hall, Fynn still stood against the wall, overlooking the staircase that would - eventually - reveal a Leane. He'd gotten some odd glances already, and some snooty remarks from first year Slytherins, who weren't aware yet of the fact that prefects could deduct point.

Still, being in a good mood, Fynn had let them go by with just a glare.

Leane sighed as she shuffled down the staircase, still not fully conscious and quite sleepy. Hearing some of the first years in front of her commenting on a Gryffie staring at the staircase, she looked up and spotted Fynn at the end of the staircase leaning against the wall. Laughing at the look he was giving the passing Slythies, she swiftly passed everyone on the stairs and walked over to Fynn, her hands clasped behind her at the small of her back, "Morning! Looking for someone?"

"As a matter of fact, I am," Fynn's grin practically split his face. He leaned towards her, and whispered, "This really hot Slytherin girl who says she loves me. Know who I'm talking about?"

Leane laughed and whispered back, "Hmm, I think I might. Could it possibly be that brown haired girl over there?" she inquired teasingly as she pointed over towards a third year Slytherin girl walking with her friends.

"I think I like this one better," he smiled, his arms sneaking around the small of her back and holding her hands there. With a light tug, he pulled her against him, catching her mouth in a light kiss. "Good morning."

Leane smiled as she kissed him before inquiring teasingly, not noticing how a few people had begun slowing down and whispering amongst themselves over Leane and Fynn's embrace, "You sure you want to settle with me? That girl's much prettier," she added with a soft laugh as she brushed her nose back and forth lightly against Fynn's before placing a gentle kiss upon it and then his lips.

Answering her kisses eagerly, he lightly shook his head in reply to her question. "Lies - I've never seen anyone prettier then you." taking his chin in between two fingers, he tilted her head up for a proper kiss, taking his time.

He, too, didn't notice the stunned looks they were getting, or the barely contained whispers. And had he noticed, he wouldn't have cared.

Leane answered his kisses just as eagerly and tenderly as she slipped one hand around his neck, twirling his hair in her fingers, while her other hand caressed his cheek. "I see what you mean about contact between classes," she whispered, giggling softly, "We'd surely be late for class every time wouldn't we!"

Over hearing a couple of 5th years in Gryffindor House loudly whispering as they passed Leane and Fynn, Leane's face turned into a scowl as she glared at them, her hand automatically slipping out of Fynn's hair and going straight to her skirt, where she kept her wand tucked for safe keeping. Leane's scowl deepened as the girls looked behind at Leane and Fynn again, turning quickly ahead again, their voices filled with laughter.

'Why those little.. Stupid Gryffies.. They'll definitely pay for that remark..,' Leane thought as her hair began to crackle.

"Why does everyone make it their business to know whether we're fighting or kissing? What the hell does it matter to them?!" Leane hissed through gritted teeth as she continued to glare after the two girls, "They just had to go and ruin my morning! It's their unlucky day, Sai isn't here to save them. They are so going to regret this."

"Lee-" his hand slipped down her arm and closed around her hand, keeping her from using her wand. "They're just jealous. You should pity them, rather then be angry at them." Fynns' words and actions didn't really coincide, though, as he too was glaring at the group of Gryffindors. "We'll both get in trouble with our respective houses - but it's their problem, not hours."

Leane smirked as her plan finally completed in her thoughts, "You won't get into trouble one bit 'cause it will be all my doing. Besides, it would be better to have detention and give them neon hair and have them smell like fish for a few days than it go around that I'm turning soft. I will not allow them to say such things and get away with it."

Turning her thoughts and face back to Fynn, her face lit up with a smile as she kissed him gently on the lips, "Besides, how can I possibly get caught? I learned from Sai," she added with a wink.
