lol maybe. The light won't go on when I shut the switch off and on. I've updated the drivers, reinstalled (twice) looked at the plugs a zillion times to make sure it isn't unplugged. I've had it for 5 years though, so I'm guessing a new one in in my future.

If I am on the spot, I can try figure it out for you.

I don't like 3d as much as other things but in a way I feel more accomplished with 3d. And it comes to life in a different way. I love rigging my characters and then seeing them move.

I still find rigging a pain though. xD

Polyface on youtube. If you can't at all afford to have a broken rig or something that's a little weird, just follow his step by step tutorials. Unfortunately had only has a rig for a human and its done in maya. I'm not sure what software you use.

Worse case scenario, there's the human IK tool. Also in maya. Its not the greatest but it gets it done.

I do use Maya, and I know the basics of rigging, although it's not my cup of tea. ;)
Just rigging a character modeled by my team member was a nightmare. The topology and paint weight were off so the model kept turning into some weird polygon monster. I have a lot of respect for riggers who know their stuff and enjoy doing it.

I figured I prefer modeling much more than animating some time back, however, so there's that.

I've had that nightmare before. Sometimes just adding some edge looks can help. There's also bend deformers that also help deal with nasty topology. There's also muscles. I've never messed with them really but I hear they help.
