YES PLEASE!!

I can't imagine sleeping with all that light.

I tried to power through but then ended up with a massive migraine and had to lay down.

I'm very happy it's Friday and we have a long weekend (Monday's a holiday) so super looking forward to that. Though I may have to work if I can't finish all my tasks. It's good motivation though to keep me on target today!

I'm off today to work tomorrow and then I work on Sunday. ; A; Sundays are supposed to be like 6 times a year but it feels like it happens once a month. XP I'm pretty happy I get Monday and Tuesday off though!

Well yesterday sucked. I had high anxiety all dang day. I was in bed early and slept like a rock.

Ohhh I'm jealous of your holiday haha! That's exciting! Definitely keep on target, and enjoy that day off!

Ah crud sorry! I forget not everyone is on a Mon-Fri schedule and here I am rubbing it around! Didn't mean to! Hopefully you get lots of reading in at work at least!

lol It's okay. I don't mind working weekends occassionally. Yes, I finally finished my first book of the year yesterday! I keep putting reading books off now cuz I like posting on Menewsha lately. XD

@Kent - Ohhh congrats! What book was it? Sorry if you already said it! Oh my gosh I know! Last night I was posting a bit on Mene, playing on FR and playing Lake Kindred on Gaia. I felt like I was 16 again LOL

lol It was a manga. Volume 2 of Run on Your New Legs! Highly recommend. It's about a high school boy who gets into an accident and loses part of his leg and has to learn to use a prosthetic. He loved soccer but had to quit and then discovers athletic prosthetics thanks to a random prosthetic maker~ It's pretty sweet and I'm looking forward to learning more about his best friend who like basically hates him now cuz they made a promise to basically be the best at soccer in high school. XP I hope he gets to play socccer again but he's leaning toward track and field now.

That actually sounds super cute! And my niece is sports obsessed, loves soccer. Would you consider it okay reading for a 10 year old? As in, no sexy bits? LOL Would be a lovely book to read together!

@Randeh - Absolutely! I love all the characters! No sexy bits at all! There's even a part in the second volume where the mc plays tag with little kids that are trying out running prosthetics for the first time. It's so cute.

Oh perfect! Autym isn't super into reading, no matter how much it kills me (LOL), but she likes the DogMan books, so maybe she'll like this!

Ooh~ Has she read the babysitters club graphic novel series? Those are really nice too!

We tried the regular babysitters club, she was not interested. But I didn't know they had the graphic novel series! I'll have to try that. I so desperately want her to be into reading lol. I'm grateful she loves sports but I would love to share a love of reading LOL I started enjoying books in grade 5 (that's what grade she's in now) so I haven't given up yet HAHA

The graphic novel series is so much better and modernized! Hope she likes them. I know they're popular. I'd also recommend graphic novels by Raina Telgemeier. And if you want novels, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries have been really popular too. X3

I'll try the first couple suggestions and see how we go! She did like Diary of a Wimpy Kid! My nephew is the reader in the family (also 10 years old). He's already read the Harry Potter novels on his own and is on to bigger books now. I love it so much!

Well I managed to MOSTLY catch up but I still have one big task to do. Trying to figure out if I want to try to work late tonight to finish it or work on it over the weekend. I have to do the comms planning for our big yearly event. So basically planning out all of our communications from now until the end of May. No big deal right???

I read the physical books from the library~ But they don't have the third volume yet and I wanna read it so bad I might just buy it! XD

Wow, it's really cool that your library has the series! I checked my local library for manga but they didn't have much of a selection unfortunately.
