my lawyer called, I was kinda pumped up a bit. then I called my area director for my apartments and I'm crashed back into deep depression again. I really think I'm gonna lose this and have to find somewhere to live. the ironic part, my son, who, if this IS all our fault, is the one that kept making the floor so wet all the time, is the most upset about us possibly moving. he's downright angry about it and has plans to barricade the door?!?!

well, I got the "official outside source report" from my manager. oh Lord, it doesn't say anything about it being my fault or what really caused it or that there is really even any damage. just that the floor needs to be dried out and the ceiling patched. you'd think they would have to replace half of upstairs the way they were carrying on!
