Yeah. I was reading the news earlier and all those pictures were just scary. It's fortunate that there weren't that many deaths this time as compared to the other major earthquakes that had happened in Japan and elsewhere.

It's not as much the noted deaths as the disappearances. Thousands are missing so far. And I honestly dont think they are counting the small towns and villages that were wiped out... if you guys are talking about the tsunami quakes

and also, the possible meltdown of nuclear plants across Japan will terrifyingly cause more damage than the quakes did. And I don't even think the quakes are done...

I'm scared to see what we wake up to each morning, and feel safe over here in the U.S. (which I haven't felt recently) but nature hasn't quite hit us, yet...

Mmm, as long as she's alright.

I'd probably freak out in the case of a major earthquake. We get earthquakes now and then, but we haven't had any really major ones since the 921 earthquake in 1999. But even the semi-minor ones had me freaking out, because I had nowhere to run when they happen. (I live on the tenth floor, so yeah, by the time I finish walking/running down the stairs to ground level, I'd be buried/dead already -_-)
