See, I broke this habit years upon years ago, but I still feel like I just stopped. I used to run my teeth under my nails to clean them almost obsessively, and I'd bite the skin on my finger that a long nail would cover. Not until it bled, nah, 'cause it would hurt before I could draw blood. But I'd bite at that skin and let pieces stick up. It reminded me of claws.
