Yes very true. I'm not against it, only when it becomes a danger am i against it. A friend of a friends died whilst drinking when he was a teen. Being stupid, fell off a cliff.

I have alcoholics in my family, I know what it can do to people. I've had people die in my family because of alcohol. I cannot agree to it being drunk underage, much less to get drunk. Socially on occasion, perhaps, but I cannot agree to how 90% of this world drinks.

I think it's so dumb to have to drink so much and so often just to be happy. Nothing can make up for it in my book.
I mean no, Josiah hasn't lost any respect or whatever in my book, but I'm not going to be happy with him. When he drinks, I'm going to be quite furious with him and will refuse to speak to him while he is drinking and while he is drunk.
He says he puts water in his beer and is playing just strictly competitively, but that doesn't make up for it for me.

I quite agree with that quote. Havin a drink, socially, a glass of wine, a beer after work. That's cool. But why drink to get drunk? I really don't understand that. I mean i understood that when i was young and stupid. But not now i'm a bit older. I mean i can imagine myself getting pissed at a bar, and not knowing where the hell i am, having my things stolen coz i'm so incoherent and going home with some axe murderer. All for what? 1 night of fun? Happened to my friend - but he wasn't an axe murderer, he just tryed to rape her in the alleyway. Lucky some people came past. I keep telling her, some guy is not going to take NO for an answer. Didn't listen! She still does the same shit ... i think she needed to get raped to have a wake up call. Even though thats very sad to say. But it's true. Some people just don't f'n learn. I don't go out drinking with her anymore because of her behaviour.

I agree - some people just need a reality check for things to click, as sad and wretched as that sounds :/

And I agree - social drinking like that doesn't bother me, it's the drinking games and the drinking to get drunk that pisses me the hell off and I cannot forgive. I mean, obviously I'm going to forgive Josiah, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be seriously pissed tonight. And if he can't see and understand why, I refuse to talk to him for awhile.

I don't get the buzz or whatever that you get from being drunk and puking and having a huggeee hangover - I don't get the thrill in that.

All my friends drink and have tried getting me to go to parties - mainly just to be their DD, but also to drink with them~
They never quite understood where I was coming from nor understood my medical history enough to even understand that drinking is next to impossible for me xD;;
I just don't believe in it in any circumstance like that, so I've kind of become "outcasted" a little since I don't share in their "drinking" stories or "drunk" stories and they don't want to talk about them to be in case I "tell the adults on them" -rolls eyes-
