People don't eat horse meat in the states. It's not exactly illegal, but people have a similar attachment to horses as they do to dogs so it's rather taboo.

Eating dog meat is illegal though, despite a lot of people used to eat it before. That's why a lot of people still sneak around eating dogs and trying not to get caught >.>;

@Cookie: A lot of fish eat other fish's poop, and we still eat those fish without a second though...:P And pigs here generally eat leftovers. So...I don't really mind as long as the meat on their bones are tasty. :ninja:

I know there are places that specially breed dogs for eating. Maybe I'll try those someday. For now I'm content with petting them...:ninja:
