UGH! my mother always did that too! and my son as well! talking the whole time the show is on but at commercial, total silence!

My mom will walk into the room and talk on the phone really loudly too! That's why I rarely watch the big television downstairs. I can't deal with her. Even if I'm up here and laugh, she calls up to ask me to explain why I'm laughing. As if it's funny that way? D:

my son does that! I'll be downstairs and laugh and he yells at me from upstairs and wants me to explain it to him!!!

Yeah, most of the stuff that I'm laughing at wouldn't even be funny to her anyway.

My mum's annoying but for all the good reasons.

I love my mom, but oh man, she drives me nuts!

For instance, in our kitchen, we have a drawer for out pots. Which is stupid because pots are heavy and predictably, the bottom fell out because of the weight in the drawer. So to fix it, she used a craft stapler. And of course, that failed. So I had to take it out and re-fix it. With nails this time. As if the staples that hold up posters for yard sales on telephone poles will work to hold up ten pounds of pans or more. It's just, it seems like a common sense thing I guess. It's annoying because I had to clean up after her.

well, it's super hard to explain stuff to my son so he'll see why it's funny when it's grown-up stuff.

I REFUSE to watch ANYTHING at my friend's house unless ALL of her kids are either sleeping or not home. UGH! no peace at all!
