"You already working on that thing?" a voice said. Yurine jumped and turned around to see Laria standing there.
"Ever thought on working on that last night?" she asked, "The tornament is going to start in 10min and everyone else is at the stadium."

Yurine stood, wiping her arms with the grease rag. "Yeah...Nerves, I guess." She said. "I haven't been in a tournament for nearly three years."

"Then get over them. When Melhana is coaching you, 'you're gonna be like "piddly POW!"' You catch my drift?" Laria asked, "Though Mel's more motorcross, she's a great duelist." Yurine just stared at her.

"If she's a great duelist and into moto, then why isn't she into Turbo Duels?" Yurine asked. She shook her head and pushed herself up off her kneeling position. "Anyway, since I'm going to be in the pro section of the tournament, I won't have a coach. The amateur section is where you're in teams of three plus a coach."

"Mel is more into motorcross. I'm sure you can find some old newspaper clips or screens about her acheivemets in the sport. Now get out there and do our best" Laria said, "Hey, are you good with a electric guitar?"

Yurine blinked, heading to the 'fresher to wash up. "Uh...yeah, I used to play a bit in high school, why?"

"Well...two of the guys who was suppose to play at the concerts I'm preforming at, has fell ill for some reason (one of them more like dead she thought since one of them was a shard). So, i was wondering, would you like to play on stage with me?" Laria asked.

"Uhm...okay?" Yurine replied. "About the only times I've played 'on stage' was in a school talent show, and Marshall and Negi had decided to go 'exploring' on the upper deck of the stage...and caused part of the rail to fall down about an inch behind me."

"Are you forgetting something Yurine Fudo? I am an angel and so are you, so you be fine. You have Yusei's blood in your veins. Trust me on this. Kaimiri won't harm you during the tornament." Laria replied.

"I know that, but...well, I've learned one thing through my life; as a mage, you trust your gut." Yurine said from the 'fresher, where she was washing the grease off her arms and face. "Especially if you're a woman. Besides, I have more than just Yusei Fudo's blood in my veins."

"You have the blood as a Supreme Arch Angel Yurine. You are one of the rarest angels out there. I'm a supreme, my daughter is a surpreme, and Yusei is a supreme. My husband is a guardian angel, Ruby is an warrior angel and so is Atem. Not sure of Yuzaki where he fits in or Yuma at this stage" Laria replied, then turned to leave, "Oh yeah, you needed to be there in 3 minutes for a sound check." Then she left.
How on earth did Yurine figure out that she was an angel, before either Selena or I got to tell her? she thought then she must've activated her powers beforehand.

"Not what I meant, but true all the same." Yurine said, exiting the 'fresher. She grabbed her jacket and pulled it on over her tank top. She tapped her earrings. "These are what I meant. They're psychic limiters; I'm as powerful a psychic as I am a mage, thanks to my ancestress." And I'll need less than three minutes to get to the arena, that's for sure.

At the arena, Aotori was worried. "When is Yurine going to get here? There's less than five minutes till the check!"

"Calm down, Tori." Jiyann said. He was reading one of his comics on his slate. "Yurine will get here, and it won't take her long. You know that as well as I do."

"But with three minutes--"

"You're whining like Marshall, so shut up." Negi said. "If you want to be on the receiving end of her wrench, however...."

There was not a responce. Laria wasn't there.

"Which will leave a mark" Laria said, making everyone jump.

"Bwagh! Ninja woman!" Aotori yelped, nearly running into Jiyann.

Jiyann stepped out of the way, causing Aotori to faceplant into the wall. "Nice to see you've arrived. I take it Yurine's on her way?"

"Yep, but i need to talk to Ku- i mean Kamakaze" Laria replied, "it's urgent."
"That can wait" Miku said as she walked in, "you have to be in the main stage in 3 minutes or you will all be chucked out and disqualified. Now beat it!"

"Alright already!" Aotori protested.

"Tori, just come on." Jiyann said. "Or d'you want to find yourself disqualified?"

"What?! No! Wait up!" Aotori ran after his friend and the other competitors.

When they got there, they discovered that Yurine and Kamikaze had beat them to it. "About time you guys got here." Yurine said with a grin.

"Yu--what the heck? How did you get here?!" Aotori jammered.

Yurine flipped him off. "You should know by now, genius. Mage, remember?"

"Guys? What are you doing? It suppose to be a sound check by now" Yuzaki said, walking into view "But since you're here, i can fill you in about what's happening in the moment."

"That was overdone a bit" Laria sighed, "You have to be careful how you do this. You are the one who is leading our operation.
"Sorry...." Miku said

"Great. I showed up a few minutes ago, so I'm great." Yurine said. "And yes, my D-Wheel is in the garage used by the competitors."

"I already know what's going on, but I'll let 'Zaki explain." Kamikaze said. "Anytime you're ready, Zaki."

"the bad side of Charnia is trying to overthrow Kaimiri off his perch to become queen herself. She organised the tournament herself, which is more dangerous than Kamiri's tornament" Yuzaki explained.
"That and the third circle has just arrived" Laria said, making everyone jump....again. This time, she had Miku with her.

"And Kaimiri's usual tournament is dangerous enough." Kamikaze said. "Now...expect more bloodshed than any previous tourneys."

"That's just what we need. More people dying." Haine said. "In this colony, people bay for blood in Kaimiri's tournaments. And I thought those were bad..." she shook her head. "This is going to be worse. I can feel it in my bones."

"You've got that right. Kaimiri's style of tournament play is why I stopped competing for a while." Yurine said. "And those were sick, to be nice." She shuddered. "And the third circle is?"

"The descendants of Judai Yuki and his comrades." Kamikaze answered. "We've already met one of them: Sakura Marufuji."

"What's worse, is that Kaimiri has his powers back" Miku replied, "they raided the game store for it. They found it and now....."
"We have to do something!" Aria exclamed.
"Shh...not so loud!" Miku hissed, "I have Kaimiri's trust!. Anyway, i have a plan to get Mouto out. Meet me outside HQ at midnight. This is the best time to get him out of there since they can't harm you because of the tornament."

Kamikaze nodded. "Yep. And...the opening ceremony is about to start."

"So come on Fudo, we have to get to the stage" Laria said, then walked out to backstage.
"Weird girl" Aria sighed.

"Weird is not the word." Yurine said. "Well, I'll see you guys in the arena!"

"Here's hoping nobody of our number gets killed, either." Kamikaze said as Yurine walked off.

As the pair got backstage, Laria turned to see Yurine.
"I guess you know what's going on right?" she asked.
