Rapping, to me, isn't about singing. Not in the traditional sense.

I am good, thank you for asking! I went to a cultural concert yesterday featuring a few African musicians :) What series are you watching?

Ooooo, how was that? Sounds lovely. I love these multi cultural concerts
Watching the Strain! Not an excellent series, but it is difficult to stop watching

It was great! The audience got to sing along to some of the songs, and by the end of the concert, almost everyone had gotten up and danced at least once in front of the stage :)

Oohh I haven't heard of The Strain before, but I just went and googled it. Looks quite scary! I can't tell if it's a horror movie with supernatural creatures or a medical-procedures-gone-wrong kind of show based on the images on google.

THE STRAIN? The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro? it is the best series of books ever ever ever i have all three. It's about a scientist discovering the supernatural evils of parasite vampire undeads and combining science and mystery to defeat 'the Master' ho ho ho. it's completely sci-fi in principle, but there is some fantasy. The tv series (from what i've seen of it) is pretty close to the story line of the books but also i can read more horror than I can watch so *blush* I just kinda watch it when i'm not gonna freak out.

Ooh that's so cool that you both know about The Strain :) thank you for sharing the storyline! It actually sounds pretty cool to me, haha. I do like sci-fi and fantasy mixed with a little bit of horror. I used to really love horror movies, but one time, I watched three horror movies in a row and got so scared! To the point of being scared of the mirror at night and the shadows in the corners of my room, haha ^_^;; So now I just watch horror movies once in a while, or more often if I have someone to watch with to "protect" me, heheh.

I stopped being so scared of horror movies (though i still am) that I get nightmares and stuff after being introduced to the Silence, these horrible doctor who villain aliens whom you can't remember seeing unless you look straight at them. I was having boogeyman feelings for like a year.

Oohh I haven't seen the episode(s) with the Silence yet. But speaking of Doctor Who, the first episode I ever watched was called "Blink" -- those weeping angels scared me a ton!

I'm so immune to horror movie scares. I think I've watched too many movies
Although those ouija board possession type horror movies still give me the creeps O.o
I LOVE Guillermo Del Toro's imagery. He's got such an imagination

The last horror movie I watched was Pandorum, and it was scary with a psychological twist to it! I didn't have nightmares that night, thankfully (at least none that I remember), haha ^_^; Have either of you seen it?
