I didn't mean it like that.... your parents can probably AFFORD to help you out. My parents are kinda upper-lower/lower-middle class... when I was a kid growing up I always kinda wondered where my next meal was coming from because we never had a lot of money for food. I was always hungry after dinner because they never fixed enough food. You're situation is a lot different too. I mean it would be hard for you to keep a job. I don't think you're lazy, just that your medical issues would make it a lot harder for you to work under most environments.

On top of that the job market is so crap right now it would be hard TO find a job in the first place. Even if your parents are having a difficult time meeting all the bills it's not that bad of a thing in your situation... it's because it isn't generated by you being LAZY like it is with my syblings. I think if people are sick there's no reason why others shouldn't care for them. But outside of my sister's asthma/depression issues and my brother's pending divorce and bad sense of humor they're both perfectly healthy and could become productive members of society if they wanted to. They just don't have the drive to...I honestly think that if you were as healthy as they were that you'd do things differently.

I had a huge response ready, but found that it was too focused on some of my own stuff and not pertinent to what you're going through.

The whole parent/child relationship is never easy. Not even at my age has it been a simple issue. What I can say is that in spite of any tension that I may feel whenever I've asked for help from my parents, they always come through in a manner that surprises me. They may bitch and moan about it, but they come through - sometimes voluntarily.

Be gentle with yourself Cricket...

I'd like to think that my parents enjoy coming through for me when I need help, even if it gets a little troublesome for them..

I live at home with my mom my dad would never support me since he has a new kid he wants to focus on now. But since I can't find a job since I got fired right when the economy went bad I don't really have any other option than live at home. And even though it might be much for my mom when I work I give all the money to my mom as she needs it and so does my brother. So even though it could be taxing on your parents I don't think it would be so completely unbearable or anything like that if you're willing to try your best to help when you can

Fey: No, my parents can't afford shit. They can't afford to care for me but somehow they manage anyways. Don't assume things about our expenses. And that's the end of that.

You probably have heard it before. It's a line in a song called 'So far away' by Crossfade.

Nothing ever goes the way it should
No more sitting in this place
Hoping you might see it my way
Cause I don't think you ever understood
That what I'm looking for are the answers

I'm guessing the doctors aren't just checking to see if Cricket still has one or both lungs in their chest.

Nope. Cricket developed a deep rattling cough that's non-productive (doesn't knock anything out/up out of the lungs like drainage), and Cricket's chest has been more sore than before. So this is to see if an infection or something that be found.

Also it's to check his stomach and other things. Because Cricket's entire body has been messed up lately. D:

Non-productive coughs are not a good thing, and I am glad that Cricket is seeing someone about it. Hopefully, his doctor will be able to give him good news today.

Cricket isn't stupid. If there's something wrong with him, he calls the doctor and complains. -Nodnod-

Unless it's a UTI, which Cricket gets quite often, but lately he's been complaining about those a lot, too. Cricket hopes for good news and a way to relieve the pain that doesn't involve fogging up his poor little brain anymore than the medication he's already on fogs it up.

Cricket is wiser than most. I've known people who would wait until they had full-blown pneumonia before getting it checked out.

UTIs are never fun. Am keeping fingers crossed about the diagnosis and treatment.

Cricket has a weak immune system and his health could go 'poof' just because someone coughs in the next room. Cricket doesn't want to go 'poof'. Cricket wants to live. So Cricket bugs his doctor a lot.

Cricket thanks you for the crossing of your fingers.

Aaah Cricket going 'poof'? D; Sushi doesn't even want to think about it... People going 'poof' isn't fun...

And ello by the way. I'm here for a few minutes if anyone else is... -not really sure-

~edit
OH MAN you're so right. I LOVE that song. Haven't heard it in forever though.... -will go listen to it as soon as I am able-
