I think we can all make guesses, and inklings, but definitely need that alarm spell, if Zebulon has the time, otherwise we are laying in wait for it. Even if we guess right or think we know what it is we still have to catch and stop it

I know I'm having fun watching you guys investigate, so I'll let this one run a shade long. I'm pretty busy today anyway, so I'll push back the start of the next turn to midnight my time... My time being EST, or UTC/GMT -5 hours. (It's 9:32 AM as I post this, if that helps people)

Well I have had ideas and thoughts but trying to keep things in character, Aneja is logical and smart but not charismatic, or experienced in the world. But at least it appears vegetarian at the moment! Lol

Oh lord. I figured I should include a backup roll on my Alarm spell in case my first roll failed. Good thing I did, cause I got a critical failure and then a critical success! XD

I've done it before... but I was playing D&D 2e, and the 20 was supposed to be a save roll, while the 1 was supposed to be attacking something, so I was looking at 2 crit fails in a row. But then, I don't think my d20 likes me much. The d6s I use for GURPS are much friendlier.

I think Zebulon got very lucky there with that critical failure roll lol

He did... I have a crit spell failure table that I roll on when something like that happens. Actually, I have two tables. One is for good/neutral characters, and one is for evil ones. Be very glad Zebulon's not evil, he could have aged everyone in the party by 4d6 years.

Lol, would have been interesteping a bunch of aged pensioners trying to chase a creature around the trees! I does the difficulty or power of the spell reflect on the result if a critical failure occurs...
So a spell to change a piece of cloth from blue to green, if that went wrong woul that not be as bad as if someone was casting a spell to let them walk through a wall, or a fireball or something?

Also when it gets dark enough Aneja will,roll to spot anything moving in the darkness, i thought I'd say now just in case i miss the opportunity, and didn't want to post it just yet as it doesn't fit in very well in the rp thread.

I'll let you know when it starts getting darker... I want to make sure I know what people's plans are for the night first. It seems like you're all planning on sitting up all night instead of setting a watch-- which is fine in this situation, but I wouldn't recommend trying to do it several nights in a row, because I'll start throwing penalties at you all. :P

You can... but I want to move things along pretty quickly. I think I'm mainly waiting on Mythos, Ethos, and ~LONGCAT~ to post before I launch into the next 'event'.

True... it would affect the squishies much more than Draza. :P

It was either Draza call humankin Squishy or Smooth Skin. And everytime I try to type out "smooth skin" my brain hears it like the ghouls in Fallout3. XD
