lots of money to be made. but i don't think they realize taking a cut in profit would keep them profitable for longer and in that way they'd make more of a profit.

maybe I should try fish again at a nice restaurant and probably one that specializes in fish. in general places I go to steak is their main dish and it seems like those places fail at chicken and fish dishes.

Yeah, steak people are not good at the more delicate meats.

yep. but steak seems to be what my family thinks of when it comes to nice places. so I end up getting the non specialty chicken meals and sometimes fish.

Already thinking about dinner. I still want something sweet.

Yeah, my family does that too. Luckily, we have some other places that aren't steakhouses that my family likes.
Mmm, sweeeets.

It's 7pm and I'm eating dinner. Haha.

this is completey unhealthy but if you ever get a chance, take a glass pie dish and use margarin or cooking spray on it and then take chocolate chip cookie dough and cover the whole thing (including up edges) with the cookie dough. back the dough as directed. when it comes out it will look like a cookie pie.. bu its not finished yet. use a wooden spoon to flatten the cookie against the edges until it looks like a normal pie crust. then let it cool while you make chocolate pudding. fill the cookie crust with the pudding. let set for a while then later top it with cool whip. it's so yummy and unhealthy so you can only have a small slice...

OH my gosh that sounds so freaking delicious. And so very incredibly unhealthy. It's okay, though, my sister makes these oreo balls that are soooo good. Crush up oreos and mix them with cream cheese, ball them up and then coat them with white chocolate bark and cool them. Soooo gooood.

those sound so good too! I've got a good completely sugar free recipe for cheesecake bars... they taste good you have to not mind using splenda though. i know so many people who don't want to use sugar substitutes because they're rightfully afraid of what it can do to their bodies. then again those same people drink soda... so.. go figure.

I prefer Xylitol if I'm going to use a sugar substitute. You have to watch how much you use, though, because it can give you diarrhea if you're not used to it. But it's not chemical in anyway, just indigestible.

I like how splenda works cup for cup though and as far as baking I've never had it react badly with old family recipes. But i'd be willing to try the other one.

some things though react really badly for me. like even those bio water flavor thingies, i can't handle even small amounts of those.

Yeah. I do recommend that if you use xylitol, use some banana or applesauce as well, to keep up the moisture content. And it won't work for candy or fudge because it has a different melting point.
BUT xylitol has the added benefit of being antibacterial....it fights off tooth decay and ear infections.

It's in Trident gum, which is why that gum is good for teeth. Just don't let dogs get to it, though. It can make them very very ill.
More info

Hmmm trident. I usually have extra because it comes in such random flavors like apple pie.

Oh gosh, those dessert extra flavors are sooooo good. I love the mint ice cream one.
But the dentist says that Trident is the best one for you, and since my mom has genetically horrible teeth, we always use the best dental stuff. I do NOT want my mouth to look like my mom's.

always have to take care of your teeth. honestly what sucks is there are plenty of things they can do to teeth as preventative measures but they aren't covered. there's actually a sealant that can be put over top of your teeth that will seal cracks in enamel and prevent new ones.

Yeah, I had the sealant put on the tops of my molars, because I have really deep crevasses and there is some staining in them. The only problem was it changed the height of my bite. My TMJD started when I did the sealant. Heh.
But, I turned 26 this year, so I lost all my insurance coverage. I need to get some again soon so I can get a cleaning.

yeah when I turned 26 I was lucky. I lost insurance but had the option of buying it myself through my mom's work. that ends next year though >.< which is scary for my career. many graphic design companies do not offer health insurance and I really need it >.< so I'm not quite sure what i will do.

Yeah, I could do COBRA, but it's almost $300 a month. So not happening. Well, I've been looking at cheap insurance coverage for single people.

COBRA is 480 for me a month >.< and you know what sucks is that my mom's company won this lawsuit against blue shield. they were being charged too much for a whole year. so now everyone is getting reimbursed for the extra that they paid EXCEPT cobra people >.<

cheap insurances won't cover me. I'm hypothyroid and have PCOS. so I'm sure those will be reasons to deny me alone.

Oh man, that sucks majorly. My godmother has lupus, so her insurance had to be done up special and she can never, ever let it lapse.
