Actually, he's sick of living there, his landlord is an absolute asshole and who knows, he might be scared/distraught enough to actually move in with Romeo. XD

Besides... If they did live together... Think of all of the awkward moments they could have. :3

*Jumps onto Cricket*

I was thinking that the ruins could be quite dark and decrepit, but the metal walls and machines would give it a more futuristic feel, like something abandoned by aliens after a new power source was found?

So like the earlier idea, it could be like a rotting power plant. xD

And Zak and Gerin could maybe be interested in the old computers and stuff lying around, maybe take something aboard to ship home for examination.

Fey: And Romeo would get to see Gavin shirtless at least once, allowing him to see the scars on his back from the surgeries he had on his spine when he was a kid.

Silver: Well, taking something alien would be kinda risky. Maybe they could put a beacon by the ruins so someone else from the facility will come out and retrieve things, so it'll be handled properly.

So... Maybe the technology could be old yet futuristic? If that makes any sense...

Yeah, I like that idea, maybe tell the facility to send a scout and a researcher to examine the area and objects. :3

Yup, I know whatcha mean. xD
Kinf of like our technology now, but in the future, it would be futuristic looking, but the technology in that era would be much more advanced.

Yeah, kinda. -Nodnod- So... Should I just skip ahead, say they're several hours into their mission and several hundred miles past the charted territories? Because I don't think the ship would be going only 25mph.

It'd have to go slow enough to scan things and for them to see out the windshield/computer screens. (I think maybe they should have a latching system for the screen, so if the screen were to fail they could take it down and see outside the ship's windshield, but when the computer's working they use that instead, what do you think?)

But yeah, should I set them up for it, or maybe Zak can point it out? He might recognize disturbances in the land that lead them to the ruins, after all, he studied geology and all sorts of other Earth (planet) related sciences.

Sure, that sounds good. :3
And then Gerin could slow the ship down slightly to get a better view of the land and disturbances?

Then they could decide to investigate. :3

Fey: I advance write a lot of scenes in my head, as well as alternatives of said scenes. -Nodnod-

Silver: Well, it's kinda their job to explore stuff they find. XD So yeah, I think I'll get to writing that post now. Sorry I didn't write it last night, but I wanted to discuss it more before I continued.

I usually wait for the other person to prompt something... I hate advance-writing things and then finding out the story goes nothing like it.

I don't think it really requires time, as much as it requires skill in day dreaming and multitasking. XD

Maybe multitasking... but when you've got your head full of all the crap you've got to do, working on fixing other people's problems and lots of other stuff... then you tend to have less room in your head to daydream.

Your brain works better than mine does... LOL. And what's sad is that's probably true. Though I blame that mostly on whatever it is that's causing the seizures... and what causes the dislexia... and what causes the clumsiness... XD.

I always thought tourettes would be fun... frustrating because you end up saying things you don't want to at times... but still fun. At least for a little while. It may be different for those that actually have it.

Alright, most people with tourettes do not say random words! I have tourettes, and when you read up on it, you find that it's actually a very small percentage of people that say words they don't mean, or that shout obscenities without meaning to.

Everyone thinks that that's what tourettes is just because of that asinine basketball player who shouted obscenities at a game then claimed he had tourettes as an excuse, when he didn't even have it.

Vocal tics are more common than saying actual words. Vocal tics are sounds that you can make, and most people I have met with vocal tics don't even use their voice, instead, they flex their muscles in their throat and it changes the airflow and makes a clicking sound. Or they snort air out their noses or sniff a lot. Eye tics are also sometimes considered 'vocal' by some people, because they're in an area that expresses a lot of emotion.

I'm sorry for being hostile, it's just... I fucking hate it when people hear tourettes mentioned and the first thing that comes to mind is coprolalia.

Every person I've met with tourettes gets just as offended as I do, and it seems that everyone who doesn't have tourettes thinks of coprolalia, instead of what tourettes actually is. And there are other illnesses that coprolalia is a symtom of, not just tourettes.

Coprolalia is rare in tourettes.

Please, I beg you to read this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourette_syndrome

I'm sorry that I snapped, it's just very offensive to tourettes sufferers when people always think of coprolalia as the main symptom. I've talked to dozes of people with tourettes, and read dozens of rants on blogs about how mad it makes them, and it always made me really mad, too.

I really am sorry for snapping...

It's ok... it's just... working *laughs* and then posting and trying to keep up with everything. I can't research everything to make sure i'm right when I've got so much other stuff to keep up with. All I can do is apologise when I screw up and make sure it doesn't happen again. ^.^
