I don't care so much for the other items they released, but the Mercury moon is to :drool: over. Too bad I don't have 1.3 million gold to buy it with. :roll: I'm hoping the price drops to something more reasonable over the next week or so, but we'll see.

I think after Repo Lamp they decreased the drop rate of the new stuff so I don't think the price will deflate reasonably anytime soon...

I noticed that they altered the Famestar link yesterday. Must have had a lot of people complaining about it for them to do that! Though the announcement for it still gives no indication that it's a cash item. I suppose they don't need to tell people that now, as ALL new things are cash items >_>

The thing about Gaia is that it does respond to complaints, being a big corporation as it is now, and more professional than a lot of the other sites, many of which are run by young individuals who know very little about running a business or how to handle oneself with complaints, etc... I think that's a good thing, personally.

I don't see the Gd getting better any time soon. It's a shame, really.
Has anyone gotten anything good from the Famestar? It seems like a waste of cash to me. But I really must have that Mercury's Moon. I wonder why they didn't just add it to an ei bundle like they did with the Drome Egg recolor. That would have made a ton more sense.

I don't spend money on Gaia after they nearly gypped me in their real-life items store... >_>; And since I don't make a lot of gold on Gaia, I'm never likely to get a Famestar... thing. XD

I've only bought one pair of monthly collectibles and that was by sending a $5 in december '06 XD.

Other than that, I am of the position that until I can donate to all of the sites that I'm on (dozens, literally) then I donate to none.

In the past, I've spent more money than I should have on Gaia. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to do it, heh. I could have done a lot more better things with all that money.

Exactly how I feel about it, though I could say that for most other avatar sites I've spent over $20 on.

I've been on recently, but only because I have a few IRL friends who started accounts and so I've been trying to help them along, and slowly I am reminded of reasons why I can't stand the place anymore.

Gaia gypped me the first time I ever donated, they still owe me two kikis, bastards >_> I sent in all the info, credit card transaction number and everything and never heard a damn thing back >_>

I suppose at the time, I was pretty active on Gaia and thought it was a worthwhile place to spend real cash on. But I suppose the reason for me really hating myself now for it, is knowing the kind of place Gaia is now. Makes me want to really kick myself.

I don't mind donating to sites such as Avaricia or Menewsha however. Because I feel more secure about it. Especially, since I am really early member on both sites. Just feels more comfortable for me.

It may only be five dollars, but for all we know Jelly was depending on those Kikis and thus gained a lot of emotional and mental damage from the lack thereof. Then all of the medical and psychiatric bills could be included and a case would be made. :angel:

I gypped myself. I played the Famestar game, opted out early, 2nd round, and got the duosomething dolls. I looked on Marketplace, saw there was one going for around 35K, and one for 40K...I put 60K on them. Got the 60K within hours, and the next day I see that the dolls are going for around 150K.

lol. Guess I'd better stay out of the stock market irl.

If I'm going to sell a stock, I'll let yall know, so you can keep yours or buy some. It's sure to go up!

You'd probably end up losing a large chunk of money, taking it to court. Not that it's even enough money to take to court. I think the lowest amount is..forty dollars? Somewhere around there. Court fees are usually at least thirty five dollars. And that's if you aren't hiring a lawyer. xDD
