"I was referring to plant life being large. Most terrestrial plants don't get too much bigger than a few feet, where I am from. Not enough land mass to afford large plants, at least naturally. Animal life on the other hand, well, you haven't seen big until you see a Sayel Serpent. Full grown, they are about 160 feet. From the head to the tip of the tail. Not too terribly friendly animals, so they are best viewed from a distance."

R'jalla shrugs, "I've never seen anything to fear from plants, large or small. What's so frightening about a tall tree?"

Rika shrugs, "It is difficult to explain. It would be the fear that comes with the unknown. Like I've said before, there aren't a whole lot of trees on my planet, and the ones that are there are small. So, think of it this way, you grew up with large trees, open fields and other such things that you likely took for granted. Now, you have shown that you are a bit uncomfortable with all the steel hallways and rooms, barren of natural life, save for what you bring with you. When you first arrived here, were you not a little daunted, maybe even fearful of being without the various things that you were used to?"

"I hadn't thought of it that way... it was more like, I didn't know how long I could go without some form of plant life. We have areas that are just concrete and steel back home, and even ships and space stations, but I had never been to any of them for very long. The thought of living like this for an extended period of time is indeed a little frightening. But now I know that there's at least one place with some greenery on this big metal boat." R'jalla gave one of her gentle, close mouthed smiles and a small pur to show her happiness.
((Should we add some spice or wait for Leafless?
Edit: Okay, see you later.))

She unplugged the cord between her headset and the pixie. Letting the figure keep the projection on the wall for the moment. Masada smiled to see everyone get along, "It has been so long since I've been planet side, I sometimes forget what it was like. This is a reminder for me. To not forget what it was like and get lost in this city-ship."
OOC: I had an event planned for right now... but I think it's best to wait for Kreai to be on as well. We have to stay in this area for a while though, and I'm going to have to take on a second character. Would you both like to start earlier each day then? So this wouldn't inconvenience your schedules.

R'jalla stretched on the grass, digging her claws in a little and relishing the feel. "It is easy to forget what it's like not to be surrounded by a metal hall and walking through nothing but hollow tubes. I'm just amazed they have a place like this at all, space conservation is usually the rule of space vessels."
((I get off at 5PM, west coast time. I usually shower and eat right after work, when I get on in the evening is usually when I can get on. Sorry.))

Masada looked over at R'jalla and smiled. "You do remember this was also designed like a city, with all the features a city may have. Some of them are just harder to get to. Others are, like this room, kept secret. I know that some of the areas richer passengers can access have artifical gardens. Where all the plants are potted and well maintained."
OOC: Ah, alright then. Edit: I'm in the middle of the country. So you're just two hours ahead of me. That's fine ^^

"Potted plants aren't so bad, in fact I think manicured gardens are quite lovely in their own right. Our cities may have a lot more greenery than other cities but that doesn't mean we don't do something to keep them in check. It's more that... there's a lot of space between buildings. What are these gardens like?" R'jalla looked at Masada expectantly, hoping for some beautiful descriptions.

"Gardens are like rows of plants, most ofter attractively colored flowers and trees. They are placed in different patterns. Some are set up as designs to please the eye. Others are placed along winding paths." Masada turned and looked over at the giant sized tigress. "They are designed to be aesthetically pleasing."

Anton Sangrey quietly surveyed a video feed. It showed three females, all of varying races. He actually had to squint ever so slightly to make out a small metallic figure in the tree, near on of the girls. It seemed that they had all decided to go out on a little excursion, via the ships interior. At first he had assumed it was just some curious crew members children. He let them pass thorough the scans. Even though they seemed to come from a more dubious corner of the city. After all it wasn't that uncommon for the children aboard the ship to be abroad.
Yet he didn't have years of experience under his belt to disregard the trio. It turned out his instincts had proven well yet again. Especially once he noticed a girl that looked part at least part Terran to walk over to one of the walls panels and create a new image on the panel. He quickly ran rental scans through the ships database. Coming up with two positive scans. It seemed that the smaller humanoid was a Majaii. That wasn't such a surprise, he had encountered a few before and would be ready in case of a physical assault. The second wasn't some engineered pet like he'd originally assumed.
She was Tlajshna. He'd heard of the race before. They had traveled in space for ages. The one's he knew of always stayed on specially designed ships because of their sheer size. Dealing with an intelligent feline would either prove entertaining or disastrous. Anton was not quite sure which of the two, and grimaced at the though of finding out.
The data file said error on the last girl. Sometimes these machines did malfunction. He quickly looked up at the screen which projected the three faces. Reflexes scanning to see what had went wrong in the data logs. Then he looked up to see if their was any way to get a scan and swore. Give her golden eyes and black hair, and you'd have a Star Sung. One of the men in his late command was quarter blood. From him Anton learned that the race rarely traveled into space. Preferring their adoptive planet. The few who were had been traded as slaves. He also had to opportunity to learn about a genetic anomaly within the race which resulted in the silver heir and black eyes.
He looked over the three of them, quickly running several scenarios through his head. This was going to be difficult no matter how he approached the situation. Wonderful, just wonderful. Their was no way this wasn't going to turn into a mess.

"Isn't is surprising to note that even if we come from different planets most people find mostly the same aesthetics pleasing? There's to be said for symmetry when so many varied species find it beautiful." R'jalla stiffled a yawn and lay on her side in the grass. "It's so warm and relaxing here... I could fall asleep very easily. I think even some of the normal internal noise is dampened."

Masada looked over at the Tlajshna. "That is true. I assume that objects of beauty are appreciated in most every culture." She placed the pixie on her hand and cut the vid feed. Returning the cord to the pixie's arm, then placing her on a shoulder. The metallic figure had earned a small break and promptly curled up. Somehow managing to rest on the much larger Star Sung.

Clap.
Clap..
Clap...
Anton had entered the scene. It was quite a surprise that they had managed to enter this particular room. Access had always been limited to events and members of the staff with high rank. That meant one of them had some sort of psychic ability, or was a bit of a hacker. The second seemed far more likely.
Slowly he walked towards them. Insuring that each was in his line of sight. Making a sweeping gesture towards the trio with his left arm, he insured that they could see the weapon casually resting on his belt. His right side was concealed due to a far more practical item. He shook his head, beginning his first approach. Charm.
"Ladies, ladies, I am quite astounded that you've managed to come to one of the natural areas. It's a feat you should be proud of. But, on a more serious note," and now the smile he had plastered onto his face took on a slightly darker tone, "You should be aware that access to this particular area has been restricted to people associated with a staff. Something I've come to know either R'jalla nor Ms. Asmein has."
He took a measuring glance of each as he said their names. Making sure that they understood the gravity of the situation. Then glanced over at the third. "I did not find a record of you on the ships passengers though, or any other database this ship has." He looked at all three. "It would also be foolish to run."

R'jalla perked her ears and jerked her head in the direction of the clapping when it first started, quite surprised to see the human at all. As he continued forward and started his speech R'jalla was quickly calculating what it would take to fake her way out of this, but her ears fell with dismay when he said their names. If he knew her name then the "pet routine" wouldn't work on this one. With how gruff he looked she doubted it would have in the first place. "So what are you going to do?" She rolled into a sitting position, putting her at about eye-to-eye level with the man, and leveled an even stare at him.
((Okay, I'm just going to have to keep the bios in a separate tab at this rate, and Anton's height isn't listed so I'm just assuming he's whatever height I want.))

OOC: ... D'oh!!!
At the first clap Masada froze. She knew it would do no good to try and escape. Maybe some alternative bargaining might help. The second clap had her turn around. It seemed this wasn't going to be a standard run and dodge like she would usually get into. Which is positively great. The elders use to say something about groups attracting more attention than one alone.
When he launched into his speech, saying both R'jalla and Rika's name she was in for a whole new experience aboard the Messenger. One someone who had stowed away on the ship should never have to. Let alone a ship as well known and maintained as this. She had been discovered.

He watched as the tiger like Tlajshna turned to stare directly at his eyes. He was impressed. Most beings of that size could never move in such a way without being clumsy. Managing some amount of grace required a good deal of practice as well. "Now, that all depends on how you and your friends react, and how far you're willing to cooperate. It would be a great favor to me if you all realize you are not to be in this area. No exceptions."
He glanced over at the Star Sung. "If your little friend their also stopped planning on trying to leave this pleasant encounter, we wold be meeting under much better circumstances."

R'jalla huffed, if he thought she was graceful he had never seen a Tlajshna acrobat, he shouldn't make assumptions based on his own race's inherent clumsiness. But she was getting worried, what were the penalties for being caught in an area like this? Why wasn't Masada on the passenger list? How much trouble was she in?
When the strange man mentioned "little friend" R'jalla looked over to see the pixie trying to quietly sneak away while the others weren't paying attention. She quickly accessed her personal computer and sent a quick, wireless message to the pixie: "Don't get us into more trouble!"
((I hope she can get wireless messages. You'd think everything would be wi-fi in the future.))

OOC: I want to say something cynical right about now. But I shall hold back ^^
Masada slightly cringed. This was just not going to be pleasant. Apparently the pixie model had been attempting to sneak off and get help while she was still formulating a plan. She had been living on the ship long enough to have a few reliable people who would possibly help her out of this. She just couldn't think of anyone who owed her a favor at that particular moment in time.
The pixie model received the message from. R'jalla. Then looked over at Masada's face. Turns out her person was not pleased at the idea. She quickly returned the her common perch. Crossing her arms and pouting at being caught so early by the man.

He looked over at the thwarted fairy. Nodding at her compliance. "This may come as a surprise to you, but the Star Sung is actually not on the passenger list because she is not a passenger." He turned his head towards the silver haired women.
"It seems you are truly an enigma aboard this vessel. Most who have tried to come aboard unnoticed do not succeed. Yet it seems you've managed. Somehow. I believe this is the first time you've actually been noticed by any aspect of security on this ship."

R'jalla looked at Masada in shock, one word stamped on her mind: stowaway. "You... you're a stowaway?" She wasn't sure how to feel about this, Masada had shown her kindness but she had also broken some very severe rules. Their present situation forgotten R'jalla put a paw on Masada's shoulder. "But... why? Why would you stowaway? And for how long?"

I... do not want to burden you with this knowledge R'jalla. It is not safe for you to know. But I have been on this ship for the last few months."

It seemed his assumption about the girl was correct. "Yes. I once traveled with a man who was quarter blood. I learned enough from him to guess where you came from. Although how you managed to survive is beyond my reckoning."
He also glanced at the pixie. "I am also assuming that that little toy does not have a connection left, or you would have been found long ago."

R'jalla watched the two go back and forth. Star Sung? Surviving? What was going on? It was all beyond her and she wanted some answers. "Now listen here," she snarled, "what in the universe is going on?! How does her race have to do with being a stowaway? What kind of a situation were you in? Found by whom?" R'jalla gave a low growl after her barrage of questions, she was patient for a Tlajshna but even Saint Krishrii had his limits.

OOC: Yes. My race isn't really into space travel. You sort of have to get forced into it. Meaning captured. Which is the most common way for a Star Sung to go in space. People are nomads, low tech. Remember?... Sorry about the confusion n.n""
... Why do I not think it wise to make her rage? "Alright R'jalla. If you want answers I shall tell you." She reached up and touched the pixie model. "This metallic figure, which is no toy, has a signal linked to their original owners. Such a signal is hard to destroy. Unless their owner wills it. That is why I found this little pixie broken and discarded."
She looked directly into the Tlajshna's eyes. "This is no light matter. I know that while your race and that of Rika's are know, mine is less so. We gave up space travel many years ago. Chose to abandon technology and live in the old ways... But old hatred never dies." At this she cast her eye's down.
"My people have been hunted and captured for close to a hundred years. Never in large groups. Most of them consisting of mere children. Those who inflict this upon us are enemies my race though they left behind with the stars. Some would say it is like a holy war..."
She looked up, green eyes matching black. "I am not a key example of what my race looks like. Most are golden eyed with dark hair. This has marked me apart, and when I was captured I was suppose to die for these reasons... because I was different. Like an idol to my tribe. I was suppose to be killed. Instead I was forced to serve them." She cringed, for these were things she did not want known.
"It was a handful of years which stretched into eternity. I barely managed to escape."
