((I might not post for a while after this, I'm at my grandma's and barely have the internet to stay on here now xD))
"I'll go with you, too," Dracorix said. He felt a need to become a dragon again, whatever the danger. Besides that, he wanted to help Yama find her friends.

Bennon stood, gathering his gear and pushing in his chair. He realized that it had been quite some time since he had last slept, almost thirty-six hours. He felt a great weight fill him, and he needed sleep.
"If you believe you are prepared, then I will take you. If it is too harsh, we can try to return, though there is no guarantee. For myself, I am very tired. There is space in a room that I can use for the night? We can continue this conversation in the morning, over the morning meal perhaps. Just think on what I have said." with that parting statement, he turned expectantly towards Yama, handing her single weighty gold coin. "For the generosity of the room."

Yama considered the offer for a moment, then took the coin. It would be foolish to refuse when dealing with so many unkowns in the days to come, besides, she could always return it later. "I am not carrying one of the keys at the moment, Dracorix and Anyes are, so one of them will need to go up with you. She stood and stretched before slipping the coin into the pouch around her neck. "I think I'll go with you, now that we know where portals can be found there's no need to stay here any longer."

Dracorix nodded. "Come on, Bennon, I'll show you our rooms." He went up the stairs, following the rooms until he reached the number on his key. Putting it in the lock, he opened the door.
The room was small, and with two beds with nightstands and a small desk in one corner, there wasn't much room. But at least it's tidy, he thought. "Here's what we've got. Make yourself at home."

((OOC: Because Dracorix is going to be gone for a bit, i'm going to assume that we all head off for the night without too much more to say. If that is an issue, lemme know and I'll edit.))
Bennon woke just as the sun rose, standing and donning his clothing and straw cloak. Securing the red balaclava around his neck, drawing it up so that it concealed his face below his eyes. The straw hat hung on his back along with his bow and pack, and he headed downstairs, where he ordered a light breakfast, paying with another large golden coin. He observed the other early risers. There weren't many. After finishing his meal, he walked outside, and went around to the stableyard, where he began to hone his knife and sword, checking each arrow for a straight shaft and fletching, then returning to the main room. He began to meditate, filling himself with what meager spirit energies there were left in the area. He knew he would need whatever he could gather in the weeks to come.

Yama woke and stretched leisurely before checking to make sure nothing had gone missing during the night. Since everything checked out she padded over to Anyes and considered waking her. Then she decided waking the giant warrior was a bad idea and simply left the rooms, heading down to the lobby. She and Anyes had shared one room, and Dracorix, Bennon and Ivan the other. Spotting Bennon already there, she joined him at his table and ordered a breakfast for herself, careful to to distrub his meditation. She hadn't eaten last night and she was starving, so she relished the food as she examined Bennon closely. A warrior if she had ever seen one for sure. Clearly the portals had been no easier on him then on any of them.

Dracorix woke up to see the back of Bennon leaving the room and closing the door. Deciding that this was as good a time as any to wake up, he rolled out of bed, changed, and went downstairs. Not seeing Bennon, he took the chance to fly. He went outside and launched himself into the air, stretching all his muscles and floating around for a while. Eventually, he decided to go back and see if anybody else had woken up. He went inside, going to the counter and ordering some ham and eggs for breakfast. When he got the food, he went to sit down with Yama and Bennon, careful not to disturb Bennon.

[Care if I interject?]
=
"Please, Emelia! Please leave me!" The naturally put-together businessman was in shambles as he witnessed the chaos all around him. People screaming, babies crying, dogs barking. The sky was violet and green, and the wind was whipping around him. He was trapped, but all he could think about was his wife and child in front of him desperately trying to pull the debris off of him.
"I can't leave you!" Emilia screamed over the noise. She could hardly believe this was happening. It finally came. The end of the world.
The sky became darker than ever when a giant "CRACK" sounded high above their heads. Emelia grabbed hold of her husband and daughter knowing that they were going to die.
Her surroundings became quiet. Everything became bright, so bright it was almost as if she was blinded by the sun. And suddenly it was black again.
"Am I dead..? Is this hell?" Emelia thought. And then suddenly her surroundings started becoming more noticeable. She could feel her bones aching, like she had been lying on rocks for hours. She could feel the small hand still attached to hers. She jolted up, eyes open.
She looked at her daughter. Oh god, please be alive. Please be breathing. A breath. Two. Three. She was alive. Thank god, her baby girl was alive. But she was still unconscious.. And Roland was nowhere to be found.. Her eyesight was slightly blurry, but when she looked up she could've sworn she saw some strange flying lizard high up in the sky. And she indeed had been sleeping on rocks, because when she looked down, she realized she was on a gravel road of some sort.
Emelia picked up her daughter, both of them bruised, bleeding, and aching. There was a building nearby. It was lit up and seemed bright and cheery. Slowly, she opened the building's door and all eyes turned to her. She passed out cold as soon as she was inside. The only thing she remembered was a giant dog, and all was black.
[Omg it's so long. I hope you don't mind.. and actually read it! @_@]

(( Skay, i'm going to assume you just fell into the inn? If not, just say so and I can edit.))
Bennon opened his eyes, blinking a few times as he adjusted to the light. He realized that Dracorix and Yama were both sitting next to him.
"Good morning." he took note of the empty plates in front of both of them. I must have been meditating longer than I thought. He glanced up to the waterclock on the mantle over the fire. "It is only a few hours until noon. Should we wake the others? There is much to discuss, and we should prepare for the journey. We have several realms between us and the first magical one." A wet thump at the door caused him to turn in his seat, and he immediately leaped out of the chair, and over to the prone figure of a woman lying just inside the door of the inn. "Good god. Dracorix come help me with her, she isn't well." Quickly passing his hand over her face and chest, he managed to work out the details of her condition. She was injured, as was the child in his arms that he almost didn't see at first. "The young one needs care. They are both battered, but the child first."

((hmm... lol I thought she was lying on a road, but ok xD))
Dracorix was there in a flash as soon as he realized what was happening. The words of a healing spell were on his lips when he remembered it wouldn't work here. We'll just have to do it the hard way, he thought, sighing. "Let's move them out of way of the door," He said, picking up the lady, moving her over, and calling for a medic. While he waited, he asked, "Do you remember what happened?"

Ivan had been awake for a while and was siting under the table that everyone was at when the woman and girl came tumbling into the inn. He ran over to her with Bennon. They looked hurt badly and nodded care right away. He licked the little girls feet trying to get her to laugh to make sure that she was alright. That was one way you could make sure that a baby was okay and still alive.

((*shrug* she said she passed out as soon as she was inside, with all eyes on her o.O Oh well, it seems to be working...))
Carrying her up to the room, Bennon layed the woman on the pallet he had used the night before. He strode quickly over to his packs, unrolling a leather case covered in small, rectangular pouches, he began to withdraw a tiny pinch of herbs here, a vial of thin purple fluid there. Setting aside what he had gathered from the case, he began to administer first aid to the woman.
"I am not a trained healer, I only know battlefield basics. If any of you have skill in non-magical healing, it would be much appreciated." he said briskly.

Yama stepped forward, she had followed them up to the room after being pushed out of the way by the inital rush "Besides being my Tribe's shaman, I did double duty as healer." She began reaching into the pouches that hung around her waist, taking out herbs that she quickly mushed together in her hands, rubbing vigorously until a kind of sticky paste coated her hands. With her left hand she held a wound together, then with her right she covered it in the paste, which held it closed as a kind of stitches. She turned to the child and did the same thing before cleaning her hands and examining them both more closely. "Hum. Shock. Keep them warm, and get some water ready for when they awake, they'll need to be well hydrated."

Ivan stuck close to the infant and licked her head and hand gently from time to time. He liked babys even thought that when ever he got close to a kid that would scream and say that he was going to eat them. He sighed and stayed close to the kid to give her the warmth of his fur since there wasn't anything warmer then wolf fur.

[Yeah, she passed out in the Inn. Also, the daughter isn't a baby. If you'll notice in the first part of my writing the mother and daughter were trying to pull the rubble off the father. So she's old enough to do that. Say about 5 or 6.]
Emelia woke to a group of strange people surrounding her. Most of them looked nothing like what they did at home. And she knew she was hallucinating when she heard the dog from before speak. With words. Her daughter must have been feeling better than she looked, because she laughed. It was nice to hear her still capable of laughing after all that had happened.
She asked the man who had been addressed as "Bennon" if he could look after her daughter for a few minutes. He seemed the most trustworthy to her, and he was the one she saw first after she woke. She went to the Inn's powder room and wet her face with the water from the urn. It looked clean. There was a hand-mirror setting on the in-table, so she picked it up and looked at herself. Her medium-length dark brown hair was wind-worn and dirty. Her blue eyes were circled by dark rings, and there were cuts and bruises all over her face. She was normally fair-skinned, but today she looked deathly white.
Emelia brushed her hair with a comb she found in the powder room and washed her face and hands. She walked back out into the main room after about 10 minutes looking more polished.

In her absence Yama had been tending to the kid with some assistance from Ivan and Bennon. The girl was now giggling happily as Yama made a simple brew, which she handed to the mother as soon as she re-entered the room. "Drink that. It tastes horrid, but it's good for you." Yama leaned back with a sigh before addressing the mother again "So what happened to you?"

"Hey, you are back. I never caught your name. Or your daughter's for that matter."

"I don't know why we're here. I thought I was going to die. I thought I was dead. But I'm alive.." Emelia looked at her hands, then back up at the woman who gave her the liquid.
"I witnessed my world crumble, but somehow I'm alive.. Mu husband might still be alive somewhere! I have to look for him!" She started a little frantic, but the voice of Bennon made her snap back to reality. He had asked what their names were, and she realized it had been rude not to mention it in the first place.
"My name is Emelia. And my daughter is July*.. It's short for Julianna."
[*July.. pronounced like the month.]

[Sorry, I need to step out for a little bit, but I'll be back tomorrow. @_@]
"I think before anything, July and I need to get some sleep.." Emelia went to the inn-keeper and asked what currency he took. Apparently it was coins, so she got out the Sacajawea dollar-coin from her wallet and gave it to him. Surprisingly, that dollar paid for 3 weeks of room and board. With food.
"I'm sorry to leave like this, but I think tomorrow we'll be a lot better for talking.." She nodded at the other men and the dog, then went upstairs to her room with her daughter and they both fell asleep almost as soon as their heads hit the pillows.

Bennen turned in his seat and watched Emelia and July as they left the room.
"Well then. It seems we are not leaving today after all, seeing as Yama wishes to interview this woman about her world collapse, and her survival." he looked up at the waterclock. It was nearly noon. "I'm going to go find some breakfast. I tire of the inn's fare." standing, he left the inn, heading towards the butcher's.

Lillyanna stood at the edge of the cliff, and looked at her world comin apart at the seams. She was as beautiful as her mother, with her long blonde hair, and electric blue and silver eyes. Where she had her mother beauty she had her father's mind for battle and leadership. Her planet was a peaceful one, ruled by her mother and father. Until that day the world statred to collapse. It started with earthquakes, then people started to show there true colors, looting and fighting. My father and mother new what was happening, yet he couldn't do anything about it. They were dead now, killed when the palace collapsed around them. After the news of the collapse the ones that were left were scared and not unlike most people turned that fear into violence. Lilyanna sighed, and looked down at Rua her spirit tiger and said "We will not go down without a fight old friend". When she turned around, she saw them waiting for her to make her move. Lilyana, was a Shadow Guardian, like her parents. So, in the back of the mobs minds they knew what she could do. They rushed her, just when they got to her the last and final quake shook, and Lilyanna knew it was the end. The ground gave way, she grabbed on to Rua and they fell through. Just when she thought they were gonners a bright light engulfed them, they suddenly hit the ground and rolled.
Lilyanna Lay on a street in some alley not know where she was, she was happy though that Rua was with her at least. She got up and brushed herself off thinking they must have went through a portal, realizing what she was carrying on her. When she packed to leave the city she called home, she had put on her shadow gear, and all her weapons, it was all sleak and black and it looked like she was armed for war, she hoped the people would not take it the worng way. She looked at Rua and said "Come on. let's got find out wear we are". So, they walked out of the alley toawrds the street.
((I hope this was ok))

Yama sighed and rubbed at her forehead. "Wonderful. Just wonderful. It looks like I'll be in this town for a while longer then." Grumbling to herself she headed back to the main lobby to take a corner table and start making more sculptures. As long as she was here, she fully intended to make a little income.

Lilyanna found an Inn of some sort, she needed to find out what world she was on. She and Rua walked in and headed for the front desk. When the front desk worker saw her, he looked wary of her. She put her hand up and said, fear not I am not her to harm you, I just need a room, and some food for me and my friend, she said as she looked down at Rua and back to the man. After a small discussion she found that she had enough jewels and coins with her to in her pack that she would not have to worry about money for a long, long time. When she left her city she pack wall the coind and jewels she could fit into her pack, she thought it was a good move.
She paid for her room, for a weeks time, and walked over to a table near a woman making sculptures, Rua layed down besides her, and they waited to be servered.

Yama scrubbed her eyes as she set down her latest work. Normally she could make these all day without tiring, but now after only three she had a splitting headache. The work was not as great as she normally would have made it either, but they should fetch a decent price on an open market. She waved a hand in the air to attract the attention of a waiter and looked around the lobby. There had been several changes while she wasn't paying attention. The place was beginning to fill up as more people came down and there was a constant rotation of people coming and going. Most notably there was now a woman in what looked like full battle gear with a large tiger by her side. Yama's hand slowly lowered as her mind began to ponder the possibilities of a sculpture. Her migrane faded as she got out another, larger, piece of wood and began to trace her lines on it, wood slowly peeling away to reveal the form she had in mind, a noble warrior with a mighty beast by her side...
