Rieun walked alongside Alexandria into the town, looking all around himself from underneath his dark hood. Rieun looked around and plotted, "So will you stand guard, while I sneak in somewhere, and take some flour, or what?" He needed to know what they were doing in order to form a plan.

Trynie slowly pulled herself out of the water and set the bag on the river bank as she rung out her hair to dry it a bit more. She then picked up the net and started walking back upstream to the campsight. Once she got there she got dressed again before sitting down to skin and clean the fish, hoping that the other two were ok.

Alexandria looked to Rieun "Don't I always?" Alexandria took up a spot where she could get a clear view of everything up and down the road and the store as well while looking like she was supposed to be there.

Rieun walked casually down the road, ntil he came to the right store. He walked in casually, and a foreign man approached him, asking him joyfully if he would like to try some of the west's latest fragrances. Rieun frowned beneath his cloak, while shaking his head. If it smelt anything like this hellhole, then he was sure that he didn't want to smell like camel's ass.

He walked through the shop until he came upon some sacks of flour. He walked past the sacks, and as he did, his cloak reached out, looking as though it was flapping in the wind, and took the sack subtly from the table it stood on. He looked around the shop for a small while longer, and then as he neared the exit, he saw the Siren scale coat hanging in the window.

Rieun's chest felt heavy, as he grew angered, and he turned swiftly to the shopkeeper. there was no-one else in the shop. Hidden from sight by his black cloak, the shopkeeper couldn't see the furious expression on his face. When he reached the shopkeeper, he reached out to him with his cloak, and the fabric muffled his cries as he fell unconscious. Rieun left the shop with both the Siren scale coat, and the flour hidden beneath his cloak.

Trynie picked up her cloak and lay it outunder a tree near the fire after she added a few logs to it and curled up, knowing that the others noises would wake her if they were loud enough. She closed her eyes and fell to sleep, a soft smile still on her face.

Alexandria saw Rieun come out of the store and followed several yards behind Rieun all the way to the camp while watching out for any signs of trouble.

Rieun's heart was pounding furiously as they got back to camp. He was starting to wonder whether he really should have taken the coat, and remembered Trynie telling him not to worry about it. But he knew what would have happened to the Siren's who those scales would have originally belonged to, as he'd seen it before. He had just lost control. They got back to camp, and he dropped his cloak to the side of the fire, with Trynie's cloak, and curled up beside Trynie, enjoying being near to her again.

Trynie felt a warmth close to her and slowly opened her eyes. "Rieun! Alexandria!" She said happily, her smile becoming wide. "Did you have any problems with the farmers?" She asked and lightly messed up Rieun's hair.

Rieun hugged Trynie, and then looked at his feet. "We.. Decided to go into town instead" He said guiltily.

Alexandria got to the camp and sat by the fire with Rieun "That took a while... was holding you?" She asked curiously as she removed her robe and sat with her back to the fire to wait for Trynie to get back with the fish.

Rieun gave that same guilty look to Alexandria, and then looked at his feet, murmuring under his breath, not really knowing what to say.

Alexandria caught the look on Rieun's face "What did you do?" she had that accusing tone in her voice.

"It shouldn't have been in there.." Rieun looked to be on the verge of tears. "He was evil.. He... Those poor..." The tears welled inside his eyes, and he shook his head, and ran to his cloak, opening it to reveal the Scaled cloak, alongside the sack of flour. He left them there on the ground, taking his cloak. He looked at Trynie sadly, and said "I'm sorry I didn't listen." And ran into the woods, crying. (Rieun really is a difficult child, isn't he? XD)

Alexandria looked as Rieun ran. There was no way she was going to catch him so she let him go knowing he'd be fine. But she would scold him when he got back. She picked up the siren scale coat and felt a certain sadness for the poor siren who lost her scales just for the sake of fashion.

Trynie had to swallow the bile that rose in her throat at the sight of the coat. She looked at Alexandria and smiled a little. "I'll go after him. The fish are on that seaweed all ready." She said and stood. She walked into the forest and found Rieun. She walked over to him and held him close to her. She stroked his hair and hummed a calming song softly.

"It's alright Rieun." She said in a sweet and melodic voice while continuing to strok his hair softly. "You had good intentions."

Rieun turned around and looked at Trynie sadly. "I just thought that... Whoever had those scales before.. Wouldn't want them in the hands of people like that!" Rieun pulled himself closer to Trynie, burying his head in her shoulder, tear flowing from his eyes, as horrible memories filled his mind.

Alexandria started to prep the fish and mixed just enough flower with some of her milk in a pot to thicken it to a stew like consistency and added the prepped fish and started cooking it all together. She wasn't the best cook but at least she kept the group fed when it was her turn. She poured the rest of the milk into 3 small cups and set them on a semi flat rock.

"Shh, everything's alright Rieun." She said as she held him close to her, lightly storking his back and hugging him tight. "You were right... no one would want to have their scales inthe hands of those people." She whispered, her own eyes filling with tears that she quickly blinked away.

Rieun began to calm down slowly, soothed by the sound of Trynie's voice, and comforted by the fact that she wasn't angry. Rieun clung to Trynie tightly, the memories subsiding quickly, as were the tears. "I'm sorry I didn't listen.." He said, sincerely feeling bad for it. "We should probably head back.." He said sadly, "Alexandria is probably waiting for us."

Trynie smiled and nodded. "She more than likely has some nice warm milk ready for us!" She said and stood, still hold Rieun to her and started walking back to the camp.

Rieun walked on, clamped to Trynie's side. As they walked back to the camp site, Rieun wondered where Remnant and Turkish had gone, worrying a little about whether they had been exposed to the king's guard, but the worry melted away as he looked back up at Trynie.

Alexandria looked up to the two that showed up and said "Dinners not ready yet... but the milk is over there." She points to the cups on a rock and takes on and starts to drink.

Trynie nodded. "Thank you so much Alex." Trynie said with a smile. She led Rieun over and handed him a cup and then took her own before looking up at Alexandria. "Have you seen Turkish or Remnant? They usually aren't gone this long." She said, worried about her friends.
