Paine jumped out of the way of the sword and of the fist. Her jumps were so fast it looked like she was teleporting.

Paine moved, too quickly. The bag was flying right at Bell, she cut at it quickly and looked around, when she saw the girl who'd thrown the punching bag, she suddenly became incredibly angry at this girl. "What the hell is wrong with you, you crazy broad?!" She screamed, her hair standing on end. "I was trying to protect you and so you throw a damn punching bag at me!" Her temper was definitely getting the better of her and her sword began to glow a slight purple to show it, and she'd forgotten about Paine.

Paine saw the glow of the sword and stood up and roared loudly to get their attention then spoke sternly "Enough!!"

As she was about to yell back at this new person, but followed orders as Paine yelled at them both.Kita looked back and forth from the newcomer to the teacher. She stood still then bowed down towards Paine.

"Sorry teacher. Forgive me for my insolence." Kita said kneeling down on the ground head still bowed.

Bell turned stepped away so she could see both of them. "What is wrong you?!" she asked the bowing monk. Then she heard that word, 'teacher'. "She's the teacher?!" Bell's eyes widen at the realization and quickly sheathed her sword, turning on her heels toward Paine, bowing lightly, a blush across her cheeks. "Eheh, I-I'm very sorry... Teacher..." Her ears and fingers twitched as she giggled out the apology. "You see, I just saw you attacking her and didn't know..." She shook her head and laughed a little harder, her voice now completely playful with no rage, "Of course, it might have been fun to watch you spray her guts across the wall." She stopped laughing and fell backwards into boisterous laugh. "Sorry, sorry..." She laughed out the words between deep breaths, holding her stomach.

Kuja watched Rayvin with his powers, he was quite good already. He could only imagine how this boy will turn out as a Geomancer when this class is over with at the end of the semester.

"Very good Rayvin." He smirked.

He turned to the rest of the class. "You guys can learn from this student, he does quite well."

Kuja turned back to Rayvin, he wanted to see what else he knew before he continued.

"Let's go deeper in the woods, there is a small pond a few meters north of us. Class, follow me please." He continued, motioning the rest of the class to follow him.

Ashura smiled at Rinoa stating that she had the right idea; she knew a few juntioning spells, but nothing major. She was hoping that she would be able to show off a bit. Ashura turned to Rita.

"By the way, my name is Ashura. What's yours?"

Rinoa looked to her students "Even a black mage needs to know these skills... even if you might not use it... now anymore questions before we begin?"

Paine looked to Bell "I was only determing her training regiment... but since you're here you can face her in mock combat so I can determine both of your capabilities?"

Bell stopped laughing and listened intently as the teacher just kept talking. Jeez, what a wet blanket. She thought and nodded at the idea of combat. "Wait, mock?" She frowned and turned to look at Kita, then back to Paine. "So, no blood?" Isabelle looked genuinely sad, her thirst for the ruby liquid never quite satiated.

Rita rolled her eyes at Rinoa's talk about needing to know about summonning and what not. I can junction just fine, I'm here to learn MAGIC! She thought, annoyed. "Of course, Miss Heartlilly." She bowed her head lightly in compliance. Next, she looked to Ashura and responded kindly, but plainly. "I'm Rita McCarty, but you may call me Ritz or Ritzy if you'd like." She smiled and placed her hand on Ashura's slender shoulder and squeezed gently. "Nice to meet you."

In this form Paine felt the same blood lust but she had learned to control it "Yes no blood"

Kita looked up after hearing that she was to fight this newcomer. Sword against fist, that would be a new challenge for her. Kita had fought against very few weapons, mainly just staffs and a couple bows, but only one sword. She recalled the last time she fought an opponent with a sword. It hadn't turned out well for anyone.

Kita stood up and bowed to her new opponent, took her normal meditative stance and breathed a few times, then took her normal stance arms extended.

"I will take the challenge, and will try my best. I am Kita Ushita, may I ask the name of my opponent before the fight?" Kita questioned this newcomer in a very steady voice. "It is only basic fighting etiquette to know the name of your opponent before a fight."

Rayvin had himself placed down with the rest of the class as they headed deeper into the forest. He was not suprised at the baffled looks he was receiving from his class members. Ray was naturally gifted at geomancy he knew this although there were a few things he didn't quite grasp too well. The class made their way deep into the forest until they reached a lake and the young noble knew what their next test was...

Bell sighed and turned on her heels towards Kita. "My name's Isabelle Marx" She bowed her head a bit and drew her massive blade. She then took a low, powerful stance and clasp both hands tightly around the hilt of the claymore. "But, you can just call me 'The winner'."Bell smirked and impatiently waited for the signal to start.

Paine looked at both of the students and said "Basic sparring rules, no killing, no injuring... BEGIN!"

Bell rolled her eyes as Paine read the rules off. No INJURING?! Come one?! I've got a big -assed sword! She shook her head and at the signal took off towards Kita, jumping and coming down at her, blade shimmering in the unnatural light of the gymnasium and twisted so the the flat edge would make contact.

The crowd surrounding Ashura was quiet, she herself didn't have much to say. She was more interested in what Rinoa had to say and teach. Ashura crossed her arms and waited with a smile and much enthusiasm.

The group stopped at the small pond that was over looked by a waterfall, it was a serene place where many animals have been seen gathering a few times. There was a few students still didn't seem to understand the concept of what Kuja was teaching.

"Mr. Kuja, does this style of magic really make a good fighter? I think it is kind of sissyfied." One male student grumbled.

Kuja could tell, he was a punk who just wanted to gain power, not that there was anything wrong with that. Kuja, himself, was a powerful magician; just something about this kid ticked him off. He frowned, raising an eyebrow as he waved one hand to the water, and with a swoop he sent a large water ball towards the unruly student, engulfing him in a large water bubble before exploding it upon the rest of the students.

"Is that powerful enough for you." He groaned.

"Class, every magic in this world will lead you to something else. To be the best, you have to learn everything. To experience everything....otherwise you are just another loser." He continued.

The wet student, who previously was complaining apologized. "Sorry Mr. Kuja.."

Rinoa grouped up the students as she said to them "alright... using junctioning like I taught you as a freshman you are to share summons and summon multiple GF's at once... you are to return them to their respective masters after class"

Ray cracked a smirk on his face when he saw the boy get splashed by the technique then he walked over to the pond and took a deep breath. He relaxed his body then he felt a surge of energy flow through him. Rayvin then made the waterfall reverse its direction and flow upwards for about seven seconds. At the end of the seven seconds he fell on one knee panting. He had used quite a bit of energy during that short time period and it had drained him. He didn't know how well he did but he quickly got to his feet and turned to Mr. Kuja to see his reaction.

Kuja smiled a sly smile, he liked how this child was wanting to impress him, but at the same time he felt that this same boy was cocky about his own power.

"Class, when you concentrate your powers you will feel nature's essence run through you. For each element you are in, the forest, lakes, mountain ranges, you will be able to take that same essence and use it to your advantage out in the field when you are fighting monsters."

He looked around. "Any questions?"

Kuja was getting bored with this, he often wonder why he started teaching. He hated this world and it's bright sun. But after he was defeated by his brother, and his home planet destroyed, what else was their left. He didn't have the desires for evil any longer, back then.

Ashura turned to Rita. "I will share." She smiled as she pulled out her sapphire summoning gem.

It was cool to the touch, since it housed the beautiful Shiva, Goddess of the Ice.

"I was gifted Shiva when I turned sixteen by my father. He saved up every penny to buy her for me." She smiled, any person could tell this summon was her pride and joy.

"Do you know any juntioning magic, to use with her?"

Rinoa smiled at Ashura "Well since Shiva is an ice elemental... ice and healing magic would strengthen her abilities as well as yours... try to avoid equipping her with fire though" Rinoa made a yellow crystal appear in her hand "Here is the GF Siren... I want her back at the end of class" she hands the crystal off to Ashura.

Kita watched as the girl Isabella jumped through the air. She changed her stance slightly and waited for the right time. She wasn't used to fighting this type of weapon no, but she could definitely handle it.

Once Isabella got close enough Kita jumped into the air. It was a brash move on her part. There was no avoiding getting hit, but her techniques were no good from a distance. Once Kita felt the sword make contact with her shoulder she winced a little. Kita grabbed hold of her neck not strong enough to hurt, but enough to hold her still as she landed a punch on her stomach.

Ray took in Kuja's words and sat down. He had to admit he was tired and wanted to take a nap but it was the middle of class so he knew he couldn't. Ray looked around then up at the sky taking in nature in all its beauty. He thought about how Kuja made this all look easy and made a vow to himself that this all of the powers of nature would be his to command. He let a shallow grin slip out from a veiled expression and then rose to his feet. He had to be better than the best who ever lived and had more than enough ambition and motivation to do it.

Rayvin thought about how all the basics of geomancy came to him naturally, and knew he had to be as creative as possible in order to master the power. He got a strange feeling that Kija may not like him much and hoped that the feeling was just anxiousness and not the truth. He would need Kuja's tutelage to hone his skills. He thought about asking for extra instruction after school and challenging his teacher just to see where he was, in fact, he intended to do so after class.

Rita's eyes glazed over in confusion. Okay, so I lied, I don't know crap about junctionning... She just listened tot he two that were talking, then accepted the siren and stared at it in awe. "Y-Yes, Miss Heartlilly..."

"Now, how do I do this juntionning thing?" Rita asked Ashura completely unsure of what to do.

Bell was a little shocked by the girl's jump, but she held her concentration and slammed the side of the blade into her shoulder. Her opponent winced and Bell let her guard down long enough to take a punch to the stomach. It hurt, but it wasn't near as bad as a few of the hits she'd taken during basic combat training, punches were the least of her worries.

The two landed and Bell threw her sword around and shoved the hilt toward Kita's stomach, grinning widely as the thrill of the fight started to get to her, her adrenaline pumping.

Ashura clasped the small gem her teacher let her borrow, it felt as if it was pulsating a bit. Maybe from Siren's own power, maybe it was just her. She turned to Rita, when asked a question.

"What magic spells do you know?" She asked again, looking for something that might work well with Shiva's ice power.

Ashura thought for a moment at some examples.

"Well, with the Siren summon Mrs. Heartily let me use I can junction electric magic, such as Thunder. With my Shiva that I am letting you use, you can junction healing magic such as heal or even blizzard...does that make sense now?" She continued.

Kuja watched as the rest of the class finished their practices that he expected of them. It was getting to the end of the class today, and he was getting bored.

"Well class, this period is almost over. So how about we head back to the room and wait until the bell is to release us from this day." He spoke softly.

Kuja felt a headache coming on and wanted to get home soon.

Kita gladly took the blow. She had been hurt so much worse in the past, and with the right amount of concentration she could ease the pain. Kita concentrated her energy into her right hand and aimed her punch right for Isabell's stomach once more. It was not a punch that many could match.
