As soon as Kacie finally came to the table Jeremy was using, his cellphone vibrated. "Is it dad!?" Without responding the other twin pulled out his phone and recognized the number as Noel's. He cast a furtive glance at his childish twin, and rolled his shoulders as he felt a layer of magic fall over the city. "No, it's not." Standing up he answered the phone, listening to the quick words of the Paladin leader as he strode swiftly into the hall. "It's still an experimental formula, I haven't been able to fully test it.. Regardless it should be ready. But Noel, I have two formulas... One that has the potential to permanently freeze him, and the other one that is supposed to leave him conscious, but that I have the antidote to."

He paused and glanced over his shoulder to see the curious and anxious expression of his twin. His heart flipped when he heard that he could be promoted if all worked accordingly, he didn't even have the gull to let a sarcastic remark slip through his lips, even if he thought it. Yeah, I'll be at the meeting if I'm still alive by the end of the night. Instead he said, "Where are you? I'll be there asap, unless you want me to wait a few minutes to see if he kills a few of the monsters for us."

"Jeremy, what's going on? You're not going to leave me alone tonight are you?" Waving a hand at his brother he gave him a look that meant 'shut up'. After getting his answer from Noel he'd hang up the phone. Going back into their room he ignored Kacie, who was asking too many questions. "That was the guy that you skip school to go see, wasn't it? Who are you going to freeze? Does it have to do with the explosion and fire we saw? Is dad out there?" Eventually the happy-go-lucky twin got irritated, watching Jeremy pack several things away, including color-coded vials, syringes, and a gun they had designed together that functioned as a tranquilizer gun. "Jeremy! Stop ignoring me!"

Jeremy finally looked up at his twin after Kacie snatched his bag and refused to give it back. "Kacie, there's a phoenix that's loose and dangerous. And no, I'm not being prejudiced this time, he's attacking all of the other councils. He's a danger to everyone and I might be one of the only people to stop him. Either you stop getting in my way, or you become an accomplice in potential genocide."

Upset and on the verge of tears, Kacie handed the bag back, refusing to meet his brother's eyes. "I'm going with you!"

Slinging the bag over his shoulder he walked out of the room. "Whatever, just don't get in the way, or ask any questions." Behind the house, Jeremy uncovered an old Vespa that he told his dad he wanted to work on so that it would work by the time he got his license. Well, it had been working for the past month without his father's knowledge, it was still hard to steer, but he was hoping that his next growth spurt would help. "Since when were you allowed to use the Vespa!" Kacie received a punch in the arm, "It's a secret." It wasn't long before he met up with Noel.

Burk was able to get one shot off, the magic-absorbing bullet grazing right past Asoch, before the form of a large dragon got in the way of his sights. With a heavy sigh he stepped behind the tree and Kyra, finally taking notice of two more members of the Werewolf Council. "We nearly have the ingredients for war..."

Hearing Rose drew his attention away from answering Alianor's question for Ynyr, he could answer for both the 2nd of the Vampire council and the members of the werewolf council. "As far as I know, that is indeed Asoch, although he insisted that his human name was Lugh. As for civilian injuries I have no idea.. I think that Gabriel laid a protection spell over the area.. I could feel it."

Reggie tossed a look to the estate that was currently in flames. "That is Miss Thorn's residence, does she live with anyone?" He looked to Rose, looking paler than usual. He was hoping that the home was empty.

"No freezing, it might kill him permanently. On the roof of the building on the corner of 48th and Bullion Ave." With that, the phone clicked shut, and just as he shoved it into his pocket, Leon woke up.

"Ugh... What's on fire...?"

"A big bird."

"Big bird? Isn't he supposed to be on Sesame Street...?"

"...Wake the fuck up before I put a bullet through your head."

"Argh, okay..."

The blonde sat up and blearily looked towards the battle, eyes widening. "Badass. But crap, what about civil-"

"Someone put a barrier up. I think it may have been the angel."
Leon grinned, and then chuckled. "May I add my own fire to the fight?"

"No you may not. Wait for Jeremy. He's heading over. Judging by the sound on his side, his brother may be coming as well."

"Oh, yay, two pairs of twins. Nice."
Noel rolled his eyes, but couldn't help a slight grin. "Alright, lets look like nice members of the Council... Here's your card." he tossed Leon's fake Council Card to him, which the elder twin snatched from the air without looking, a smile on his face. He glanced down and noticed a familiar Vespa parking near.

"Ah, they're here. Look like a good monster fucker, for the younger's sake, alright?"

"Oh? Usually you call them suckers of the magic dicks."

"Same thing."

Levi arrived at the scene, wincing at the flames. This fire would not be easily put out by normal means, nor magical. Still... She wasn't your normal demon, after all. But she couldn't use the hell brand of water unless she wanted to kill everyone inside as well. A scowl crossed her lovely features before she summoned a more powerful and potent water, taking it from the very earth and air around her. She sent the water barreling through the front door, flooding the bottom floor.

Many shreds of the fire still lingered even in the water, but for the most part it was gone from the first floor, at least.

"WHOEVER'S IN THERE, HURRY UP AND GET OUT! NOW!"

Evelyn had absolutely no time to respond to Eden and the multiple personalities before the house was instantly engulfed in flames. Though the mother was clearly pissed off, the youngest daughter was not. The woman has been a Rogue for a good part of her life, so dangerous situations such as this did not make her panic in the slightest.
"I'm fine, though I can feel that Mother's pissed." She answered the current personality, brushing herself off calmly as she looked around the kitchen. The strings fed off of every form of energy, so the magic in the fire that had engulfed the house was merely giving their defensive mechanism power. "Calm yourself, Nick. Let's get out of here before the flames get any worse." Was her initial response, but when the elements were combined with magic again, Levi's helpful water, the woman was slowly getting tired of magic. The strings shielded around to two women as the bottom floor was flooded, they dispersed as soon as the water was gone. Her ears twitched slightly when she heard the yells from the outside. She scowled at this and walked outside, using the door in the kitchen, pulling Nick along with her. "Thanks, but I don't think it's necessary to yell." She spoke as soon as she saw the dark-skinned woman. Evelyn looked back at the house before sighing out loud, running her free hand through her short locks. "Why is it we always find someone that enjoys either trying to kill us or just merely destroy the house for fun?" There was irritation written all over the vampire's face when the gentle doll that had once been on Alicia's shoulder appear from out of the shadows. "The phoenix was the cause of this, Mama Eve." The green-eyed toy spoke, causing the First in command's daughter to click her tongue. "Of course it fucking was. Damn bird need to be drenched in water!" Was the woman's response. Ah, like mother like daughter, no?

The silver dragon stumbled thru the air, not expecting the phoenix to dodge his claws so quickly. He made a slight dip towards the earth, bouncing off an air current before turning in a very serpentine way around and darted for the flaming bird, his massive wings causing small gusts on the ground below. Ynyr let out another war cry, his large voice booming across the land. He gave chase to the red creature, it being smaller than he, was much quicker and perhaps more nimbler than the dragon, but Ynyr gave chase with all his strength. He stretched out his long neck as far as he could, teeth barred once again in an attempt to catch the phoenix in his jaws.

To the commotion below, the silver dragon could only hope that they were all managing well. He could keep track of who was were, or if even more people showed up. He had to give Asoch all of his attention if he was going to, at the very least, chase the bird off.

((No talking parts for Ynyr. Aww... lol. And a sorry short post for me.))

Alianor looked over at her Beta. "Dellius...? Right, right. I sent you on ahead. I'm fine, it was just an acute silver allergy." She shook her head. "What's going on? Is there anybody still inside the house?" She questioned, her voice distorting as her face began to form into a blunt muzzle.

Nikolas put a hand on her shoulder. "Alianor, don't- fire burns us just as it does every other creature. After everything that's happened today, I don't think it would be wise to-"

Ali looked over at him with half-changed eyes. "Nikolas, I'm pulling rank on you- shut up." The blonde's mouth shut, whether he wanted it to or not. Ali stopped her transformationa she saw the two girls come outside. "Oh, it was those two. I shouldn't have worried, then, they would've been fine on their own. Sorry for snapping, Nick." She apologized, human again.

"It's fine. Are we going to help Ynyr with...?" He pointed upward at the fight.

Alianor paused to seriously consider the suggestion. "No. This is very personal for Ynyr... besides, I've got a feeling we'll have problems of our own to deal with all too soon." With a jerk of her head, she motioned for her Council to follow her toward the other members. "Sorry for my poor timing, do we know if he's the only rogue in the area yet?"

The personality Nick was extremely irritated by the whole situation, however he listened to Evelyn and bit down on his tongue, standing up to look for an exit. He made the black fire die away in time for the flood of water to rush past their, he could feel the fight of the magic water and magic flames in the air and growled, thinking that someone intended to boil them alive. Such suspicions were only dispersed by Levi's yelling and Eve's response as the purebred vampire drug him out of the house. Furious eyes caught sight of the demon standing near the house, "Because the family is cursed, Evelyn. Don't have kids." Pulling his hand away from Evelyn's grasp he took a few furious steps towards Levi, but stopped when he heard the voice of Miss Rosa, and instead whirled around to look at the doll. "A phoenix! Since when is there a phoenix that we hafta worry about!?"

The sound of growling, and the comet flitting through the air answered his question, since the phoenix made it's presence known to a dragon. "Ah Hell! C'mon Eve, let's put the pigeon on ice, we haven't had Popsicle all year!" He stomped past Levi, making the motion to push up his sleeves only to find that he hadn't any. After all, he was in the body of a young woman, wearing a night-gown that was questionably modest. Swearing loudly, he held down the skirt as the dragon flew over head, releasing a gust of wind from his wings.

~~~~~~
"Good job Levi!" If the two ladies weren't vampires, he would have suggested to the High Council member that Levi lead the women to safety, however he knew better than to suggest such things to anyone who could be of relation to Miss Thorn. Relieved as he was to see Levi help those that were trapped in Miss Thorn's estate, he returned his attention back to the two flying beasts above his head, holding his glaces in place as he braced himself against the torrential gusts of wind that Ynyr created. If only the dragon could corner the phoenix and stay out of the way, then Reggie would have a clear shot. With a heavy sigh of irritation, he caught the conversation of the werewolves and decided to take a few steps closer to them. "Excuse me, did you say this was a personal battle for Ynyr? What happened?"
The human hadn't yet heard of any stories dealing with the blood feud between dragons and phoenix's, nor had he heard of the genocide caused by Asoch. However all he would have to do would be to call into his council and somone would be able to pull up an old tome containing the legends. "I believe he's the only marked rogue in the area that we know of at the moment, however I could simply be misinformed."
~~~~~~~~~~~

"Whoa! Jeremy, that's a dragon, and that's a phoenix!! It's absolutely beautiful!" The older twin sighed in irritation as he got off the vespa, "They're monstrosities." He turned it off before he caught sight of the twin brothers on the roof. How ironic. Except that Jeremy and Kacie were identical twins with orange hair, the meeting could have been quite a sight. Putting a hand on his backpack strap, Jeremy ran over to the building, and found a ladder. Kacie was left behind, tripping over his father's long-coat that he was almost always wearing. "Ow, Jeremy! Wait!"

Jeremy pretended not to hear him and swung his legs off of the ladder onto the roof. He stood there, setting his bag on the ground as he looked from the fighting dragon and phoenix to the twin brothers of Paladin. "How long have they been at it?" The ladder rattled as the other twin worked his way up it, but when he reached the roof, he sat down quietly, looking a little distraught with dirt smudged on his face and clothes from tripping and face-planting into the ground. It only took a look, that said to be quiet, from his brother to make him stick out his tongue. "I know Jeremy, you don't have to remind me!"

Dellius gave a quick whiff of the air and frowned. "Well, hard to tell through the smoke, but I believe a shadow demon named Silas is somewhere nearby." She then turned to Burk. "I'm gonna keep this brief: There is only ONE phoenix existing and that's HIM up there, and apparently he ended the world a long time ago, and only the dragons survived with most of their population eradicated. Thus the dragons and phoenix have been at odds since, and because he just loves to make trouble we marked him. But since every time we kill him he just reincarnates, we try to keep him imprisoned. It doesn't work very long, so for the most part we hunt and kill him each time we find him. However, the phoenix makes it his mission to harass Ynyr, apparent favoritism and what not. Story time over, so get some people to do damage control!"

With that, she growled and turned back to her Alpha. "Orders? I'm not sure how long the angel's gonna last, with those two going ape shit up there. Any normal person would be half dead by now."

Gabriel, despite Dellius's words, seemed more or less alright, the song Kyrie Christe Eleison spilling from his lips, apparently the song creating the barrier around them. He did seem a bit tired, though, and his brows were furrowed in concentration.

-MuSiC-MaKeS-THe-WoRLD-Go-RouND-

Levi snarled lightly at the woman's words and rolled her eyes. "No wonder everyone hates you vampires, you're all assholes." She paused, however, upon seeing Eden. "...Why is there a fallen angel here? I believe it was made clear that those things should be reported." Despite her cover as a sea dragon, she was still a demon. While the girl would not be able to tell what she was, Leviathan definitely could identify a fallen angel when she saw one.

Not that she had much against them, of course, but they still had the scent of heaven on them, even if they were buried in sin. The smell really just did NOT appeal to her at all, and made her more irate than usual. "Whatever, we'll deal with THAT later. And I doubt a child like you can do much."

-WuH-oH-SHiT-Be-BLoWiN'-uP-

"About ten minutes, give or take. Do you have it?" Leon asked, glancing over to the twins. He gave the younger a small smile and walked over as Noel tossed his binoculars over his shoulder to the ground.

"Hey, Kacie! How ya doing? I brought more cookies bro made, Noel was being a jerk about them again so they were harder to get than usual." He chuckled, holding a small pack out. Everyone knew Noel made the best treats, and it would be hard to refuse.

While Kacie was distracted, Noel talked to Jeremy in hushed tones. "You'll be doing the shooting, Jeremy. I will pick it up and drive the car while Leon keeps it in its sedate state and detain it. Regardless, if the sedation misses, then try freezing it- But only it's wing or leg. I may have to amputate the frozen part before it spreads, but the mission will have been accomplished. But, even if this fails, you're still going to be needed at the meeting."

He glanced at the battle scene again and sighed, then opened a brief case and quickly assembled the machine inside within seconds. It was revealed to be a gun, perched on something resembling a telescope stand, and the gun itself had a long sniper barrel and small scope for aiming. Noel resumed his hushed tones. "Like we went over, you put in the formula and wait a minute or two, then you shoot. We'll take your brother from the scene, because as you know, the shot will definitely be noticeable, so prepare to vacate quickly. The gun has a self destruct button here," He pointed to the said button before continuing. "And it will cause a mild explosion, it'll barely rock the place but you still don't want to be anywhere near. And yes, I KNOW you know this, but don't blame me for wanting to make sure. Oh, and don't hit the dragon, we don't need more work to clean up."

Meanwhile, Leon was still talking to Kacie. "Oh, right. We'll have to leave, not safe here. Lets drop you off at your house, aye? And this is one of those top secret missions, yunknow, since we're the secret service of the council. You'd get in trouble just mentioning it! And ah know you know this, but gotta make sure. It's our jobs on the line, here." The blonde began leading the younger down the stairs to the car to drive the boy off to his home before returning to pick up his brother.

-B-a-N-G--B-a-N-G--M-y--B-a-B-y--S-H-o-T--M-e--D-o-W-N-

The phoenix laughed again, letting the dragon's jaws graze the barest tips of his wing feathers, darting around the creature's head. As he did this, he spoke telepathically to the rouges he spotted nearby, barely taking his battle seriously.

'Silas, Kyra, lovely to see you both again~ I linked all three of us together telepathically, by the way, want to catch up a bit with you all. What happened for the past 30 years since've been gone?'

A lazy loop de loop backwards followed this, and laughed at Ynyr again. "Don't tell me you're getting OLD, Yinny~ Better hurry, or that little angel's gonna get exhausted! And if not, well, I suppose that gives me free reign to raise hell?" He let out a short cone of fire from his beak to the dragon, as if playfully poking him.

He continued to twist and twirl, musical laughter spilling from him constantly, enjoying himself fully.

The dragon was getting hasty. He made many more charges at the flaming bird, bellowing out metallic yells at the trickery and teasing Asoch was playing on him. Ynyr was now worried. His Third in Command had been sealing Asoch in and protecting the himan world? How long had he been doing that? Such a powerful spell, and Gabriel was just a young angel.

The silver dragon looped his way back after one charge, gliding on the air current just long enough to bellow out again, this time in his native tongue of Draconic. "Enough of your games, you turkey!" Ynyr dived down once more, teeth gleaming to catch the phoenix when Asoch let out a spiral of hot flames at him. It was easy to dodge, but it had been so long since the dragon had walked in his true form, that he underestimated his turn. His left wing was singed, from the middle to the outside edge, his once light, silvery wing now singed black and burned. The top where his bones and muscles were still had small flames burning. Ynyr let out a painful, screeching cry at the pain. He was faltering in the air.

The dragon plummeted thru the air, crumpling into a half formed ball with his back facing the earth. His wails grew louder, and from his screaming mouth an icy fog rippled forth. As Ynyr passed the mythical avian, he tried to aim his breath of cold at Asoch, and whipped his long tail around one of the bird's thing and scaly legs. He figured as long as he was going down, he would try to get the phoenix to follow.

Silas huffed loudly, before appearing beside Burk, seemingly out of nowhere.
"Why, Burk, I think I'm almost offended that you haven't heard of me before." Silas grinned devilishly at the human council member, before turning his eyes to watch the continuing fight. "You should be enjoying this, I'm sure few humans could ever say that they've seen something this...magnificent." Silas paused, then shrugged. "Frankly, I can't see how this can end without one of them being killed. And since Ynyr has always been in a pain in the ass I can't say I won't be glad to watch him burn." Silas' eyes darkened to black, his face taking on a demon-ish appearance as old memories and feelings rose to the surface. Power seemed to radiate from his being, as creepy shadow shapes crawled off his body. He looked the complete opposite to the cheerful human-looking being he had been a few minutes ago.

Shaking himself free of his reverie, he frowned at his loss of control. He guessed it probably had to do with seeing the dragon in his original form and the old feelings it brought out. Turning back to Burke, he grinned cheerfully, clapping the human on the shoulder. "I'm sure it'll fix itself in the end..." he trailed off when he heard the phoenix's voice in his head.

Grinning, he replied: "Good to see you're still in fighting form, Asoch, it actually looks like you have the better of that dragon. And Kyra I see you're looking as beautiful as ever. To be honest, you haven't missed much. Just some silly plots of Council members to round up us marked rogues, a few of the lesser demons were caught but you should know that it's not like me to get caught."

Alianor cursed as Silas appeared. "It's just a rogue party around here, innit it?" She growled, beginning to transform again. "Let's see how long you last once I start taking bites out of you, Silas." She growled, her voice warped as her began to puff out into a muzzle. Bones cracked and shifted into place to accomadate for the animalistic body Alianor was making use of.

"If you were smart, you'd disappear before she's finished." Nikolas advised coldly, holding up his hand. His nails had lengthened and sharpened into razor-sharp claws. He could not complete a transformation as quickly or easily as Alianor, being a 'changeling' werewolf rather than a pureblood. But he could be ready to give her backup if need be- and he had a feeling it would.

Silas almost sighed as the 1st in Command of the Werewolf council decided to confront him. Raising an eyebrow at the women, he almost laughed at her challenge. "Somehow I don't think this will be as interesting as the dragon-phoenix battle, but if you really insist." He winked saucily at Alianor. "Plus you're much prettier as you are, love." Silas' red eyes darkened.

Turning to the young pup, he grinned evilly. "No I think she had better be the one to leave." His teeth began to become razor sharp, the whites of his eyes blackening and his red eyes narrowing to slits.

Jeremy nodded solemnly, and knelt down to go through his bag, bringing out a black case that held the formula that he needed. As well as the back up and the antidote. He cast a sideways glance at his twin, who had looked up with a slight scowl at Leon at first. However the promise of treats was a sure fire way to cheer up anyone, especially if they had had sweets from the twins before. "I'm fine! Just worried about my dad.. and Jeremy wont tell me anything.. as usual." He glared over at his brother who looked away.

Jeremy listened attentively to Noel, Jeremy paled when he heard that he had to be doing the shooting. He had been practicing, even with this particular rifle, however this would be the first time that he actually shot at a living, moving target. The boy opened his mouth to ask, what if he failed all together. Well Noel was right on top of that and so Jeremy shut his mouth. The orange-headed boy almost opened his mouth again, but instead smiled when Noel said not to blame him for making sure that Jeremy knew everything he had to. "Hitting the dragon could also be a waste of resources at the moment, I wouldn't want both monsters chasing after us." He couldn't help but to have a little smirk before going to the gun, opening the black case and pouring the first, green vial into it's designated slot where it would be processed into about three of the bullets.

Kacie hadn't taken a bite of any of the cookies yet, the treats were absolutely delicious on any occasion, but he didn't have the stomach for it. Also, he was also vaguely suspicious of the intentions of the Paladin members. He stood up, giving Leon a funny look as he mentioned taking him back home. Obviously the younger twin didn't want to leave his brother, but he really couldn't argue with Leon. "I'm good at keeping secrets, or brother would probably be in big trouble by now." He went with compliantly, getting left at home. Kacie climbed onto the roof to see the dragon and phoenix from afar, glaring the whole time. He was upset with his brother and Paladin for pushing him to the side.

Back on the roof with Noel, Jeremy had the phoenix in his sights, and was cursing the silver dragon that chased after the flaming bird with a vengeance. It made it difficult to get in a good shot. However the dragon went down, and as soon as he had the gun aimed on Asoch, he pulled the trigger with a shaky finger, closing his eyes.

Opening them again, he was hoping to see that he had hit Asoch.

~~~~~~~~~~~`
He listened to the werewolf's story, with a faint smile on his face. Even though Dellius had a habit of making Reggie uneasy, he still enjoyed her view point and sense of humor at times.
Hearing Del's comment Burk gazed around for the angel, and saw how exhausted Gabriel looked, but was quickly distracted by the appearance of Silas. Ice blue eyes narrowed, in truth he had heard of Silas, but he hadn't had a good look at the shadow demon what with the chaos going on around them. He kept his mouth shut, as the demon spoke, popping open the chamber of his pistol and putting a new bullet into the one empty place. When he noticed the emotional changes on the rogue's face the smallest pang of pity and curiosity was pushed aside.
Burk would have popped the bullet into Silas if the demon hadn't caught him off guard by changing emotions faster than the drop of a hat. "I'm sure it'll fix itself in the end..." The words made Reggie think, however he was more preoccupied with one idea. Shooting Silas with the poisoned bullet before he could escape, even though the demon had a way with shadows, he wouldn't be able to use them to his advantage if he happened to be unconscious, would he?
As the shadow demon's attention was turned away from the human yet again, in favor for the first in command, Reggie pulled back the hammer on his gun, and raised it to Silas's side as inconspicuously as possible. The trigger was pulled before he could hesitate, and he was positive that it couldn't miss, but he took all of his confidence with a grain of salt. Predictability was not something the paranormal creatures had.
~~~~~~~~~~~

Nick caught the comment from Levi about vampires being assholes, that statement coupled with the lack of proper clothing made him temporarily forget about the fight between the dragon and phoenix. "As if a demon is any better!" But he closed his trap with a snap when Levi's eyes fixated on the visage of Eden, without any idea to the turmoil in her head. If Eden hadn't been turned into a vampire, then her face would have paled considerably. Instead Nick thought furiously as to how Levi was able to tell that he had the blood of a fallen angel in him, and started to pray that she didn't notice that there was also plenty of vampire blood in the mix.

"Hey! Get it right, darky, we're the daughter of a damned angel. It wasn't our choice ta be born inta damnation!" He was grinding his teeth together looking at Levi, forgetting to be grateful that she might have helped in saving their skin. Nick even took the comment that Eden couldn't do much as an insult. "Nick, calm down, if you start a fight you will get Eden killed. Just go stand next to Evelyn, we'll figure out something when she's distracted."

"I fuckin' hate you Edgar.." was the response he had, concealed under his breath before stomping over to Evelyn. "Rosa, I know that the house is.. in flame and all.. But it wouldn't be too much to ask you if you could find me a descent outfit to wear? I don't want to kick ass in a girl's night gown and panties." Yes he was talking to the doll, and not Evelyn.

Perhaps it was fortunate that the dragon wrapped his tail around the phoenix's leg- It made the creature drop a couple hundred meters, making the bullet miss, before he managed to return to being airborne. "Woah!"

Asoch looked vaguely annoyed and scowled down at the dragon. "Oy vey! Sorry, sweets, as much as I know you just LOVE me, I'm not into the whole double suicide thing." He seemed to be rather strained as he beat his wings, with the weight of the dragon making things harder. So the phoenix shook the dragon off, slipping his leg free.

But by now, the dragon was close enough to the ground to at least glide into a relatively soft and safe landing, especially with the warm air currents from the fire. Riding one of the aforementioned currents, he spiraled back up into the air.

'Ow, my leg. Jeez, what a jerk. But really? Hm, shall we spice things up a bit, then? Of course, after this game... Although it might be ending soon. Looks like Ynyr's almost done. And someone just shot something at me, and I'm pretty sure it's a bad thing for me to be hit by it. Hey, you two want a free ride? I'm gonna be bouncing soon...

Oh crap! Silas, behind you!'

--THe-CiTy-iS-aT-WaR--PLay-TiMe-FoR-THe-youNG-aND-RiCH--

Levi rolled her eyes. "Racial insults? Really? Wow, and you'd think the color of someone's skin would have little impact upon our kind. Regardless, children should stay out of this. Looks like things are going to end soon." She turned and started back to the scene, but paused a moment and turned back, smirking.

"We'll keep the vampire thing between us, darkling, and remember your manners when you speak to your elders. Who knows when I just might let the secret... Slip."

She then ran off to the battle in time to see the phoenix escape Ynyr's grasp. She went over to Gabriel, who was now looking strained- Singing non-stop would do that to a person. He paused a moment to couch, which caused the barrier to flicker before he quickly resumed.

Noel growled as he witnessed the missed shot. "Dammit. He fucked up that one."

"He might make the next."

"True, but still- We don't exactly NEED the phoenix this early in the game, but it would be one less thing to worry about, and would save us a lot of time and resources. You ready, just in case?"

"Yeap! Seal is completely drawn~"
Leon replied cheerfully, sitting next to a magic circle drawn in the trunk of the van.

Syn stepped into the dimly lit room, knowing when a slight magical presence that burst some glass in the bar meant that the Shape-shifting goddess he dealt with would be a little bit late. Sighing, he twisted the large ring on his finger, a sapphire stone in its silver antique embrace. At least I don't have to worry about this damn magic shit... The ring was designed to block outside forces, like magic, affecting his own being, a good thing to have when one dealt with what he did as a human. Sitting down on one of the leather chairs in the room, he awaited Kyra Bjudu's arrival.

~.~.~

Kyra yawned playfully as she watched the ordeal with the dragon and Asoch in the air, raising an eyebrow as a bullet closely missed the Phoenix, all thanks to the grey dragon.

Deciding to speak up, Kyra twisted away from the shadow demon and two werewolves, another fight just waiting to happen, and moved away from the only human present. I believe I can provide my own transportation, you dirty bastard. But I don't know why you'd want to leave. There's so much fun here... She spoke slyly to Asoch with his little mind-talk crap, something she didn't particularly like but was glad for the convenience in the current situation. Glancing around at the Council in attendance, she only wished at the possibility to toy with them. I've been cooped up away from the world for so long, I want to have a little excitement!

The world would be better off with everyone dead. And Asoch had almost made that a reality with his first attempt to end the world. Damn dragons... but second tries were for victories, and Kyra was beginning to contour a plan of demise now that she knew the phoenix was back. If only he be willing...

"What is it with you people and trying to shoot me?" Silas' voice came from next to Burk's ear. "I mean, really you don't think I was aware of what you were doing that whole time? I'm a fucking demon." Silas chuckled, reaching a hand to stroke Burk's hair, never actually appearing into view. "And you, Burk, you little, insignificant, human. I actually expected more from you. I mean, you are the head of the Human Council aren't you?"

"And where might you be off to, ol' phoenix?" Silas asked Asoch. "I think I'm nearly done here, in fact I'm getting rather bored."

"Hands off, filth." Alianor spat, her voice completely twisted by her changed vocal cords and physiology. With a growl, she lunged toward Silas, her teeth aiming to clamp down on his arm.

Nikolas couldn't see what Ali was biting at- but then again, a werewolf saw in completely different spectrums than any human, especially at night. Minding his now lethal claws, he tugged the human- a little roughly- away from Silas's touch and out of Alianor's grasp. "You might want to stand clear- I don't think the head of the Human Council would like being turned into one of us 'mangy beasts'."

The dragon's decent was significantly slowed, so he was able to turn midway in his fall. He extended his great wings, crashing them into smaller fauna like tree saplings. He did his best to not crash into the group, opting to stumble and skid into the dirt and gravel. The ground shook beneath him. Ynyr quickly recovered, giving a quick glance at the smaller beings a few yards from him, making sure that chaos hadn't ensued yet. He took a quick look at Gabriel as well, who didn't seem to be holding up so well. The angel was obviously distressed from his extensive use of magic.

Ynyr let out another metallic and shuddering roar, glaring at the bird above him as he flew higher and higher. He lowered his body closer to the earth, and in a split second, he jetted up and above into the air from a standstill, furiously flying higher and higher to reach his opponent. Once within reach of Asoch, Ynyr unleashed a breath of paralyzing gas.

Jeremy was furious to see that his shot missed, but he wasn't greatly surprised.. what was it that his father always said? It was impossible to predict that monsters. Of course that wasn't verbatim. Well Jeremy had two more shots left with the formula that was working right now. He was grateful that he always had the foresight to write the entire formula down before implementing it. The twelve year old wasn't willing to give up his chance to take down the phoenix just yet. Listening to the chatter of his bosses as he watched Asoch spiral upward in the air through the scope he started to wonder what all they had planned.

Then the phoenix seemed to be hovering still in the air, Jeremy took his second chance while his back was turned. "Noel, what are you guys planning down there?" Right before he finger squeeze the trigger, just in time for him to see that the dragon was racing towards Asoch, a beam of a different kind of breath coming from it's jaws.

~~~~~~~~~
Nick crossed his arms, looking back at Levi, unable to keep his trap shut. "You started it." He turned back to Alice and Rosa, grumbling under his breath. "I'm not a child, I may be twenty-nine, but Eden is Forty-two. I believe that classifies us as an old woman!" A bark of laughter escaped before the roof on their house caved in, the support beams had been reduced to ash already. If seeing that wasn't sobering then Levi's next comment did the trick. A dark expression crossed the adorable, freckled face as his head and shoulders slumped.
~~~~~~~~~

Burk only looked in the direction of the voice, unsurprised that the bullet missed. "Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared for all of this. And I so happen to lack your wonderful abilities, Silas." The dagger that he had hidden seemed to jump into his hand. Now Burk wasn't silly enough to have a regular ol' insignificant metal dagger. This was one he had inherited from an ancient collection that could do a fair amount of harm to demons, unfortunately it worked mainly for elemental demons by exposing them to the element that they were most weak against to poison their systems when the blade cut in their flesh. Reggie wasn't sure that 'shadows' counted as an element. If they didn't he knew exactly what artifact he shouldn't have left at the house.

But in the instant that he had his hand on the dagger, a hand armed with sharp claws wrapped around his arm and yanked him away from the shadow demon. Truthfully he was grateful that he was pulled out of the line with the furious Alianor, he was planning on ducking the werewolf as soon as he saw the shift out of the corner of his eye but this worked out better. He smiled at Nikolas a little ruefully, "First, I don't find any of you 'mangy beats'. Second, thank you." It wasn't worth it to argue that he could take care of himself, despite being a fragile human.

The anguished roar of the dragon brought Burk's attention away from the werewolf and shadow demon. Ynyr was after Asoch again, despite his severe wounds. Then an idea hit him in the head with such force that he actually cried out before turning towards the fighting Alianor and Silas. The phoenix was their main concern, especially if he had caused an end to the world before. With a frown he pulled out the staff from behind his back, spinning it in his hand. Reggie was good at staying alive because he kept just an inch away from danger on most occasions. Once he saw an opening, he was going to help Alianor with Silas.. if the tricky demon didn't elude them. Why would Silas cause a hassle for those scattered on the ground apart from boredom.. One would think that even a marked rogue would be concerned about the phoenix. "So is Silas with the phoenix?"

"Nothing, mother. We're just being good little boys, jacking off and watching por- What the fuck do you THINK we're planning, dammit? We're gonna put up a containment barrier around the bird IF you shoot it down and IF the fucking thing works."

"Now, now, Noel, remember he's just a kid."

"We're kids too. Anyway... Jeremy, you missed again. If the last shot doesn't work, Use the freezing formula."

Noel sighed lightly and put down the radio that contacted him to Jeremy, leaning back some as Leon hummed to himself, playing his DS. "...What are you playing?"

"Pokemon. Ironically, I'm battling Moltres. Trying to catch it."

Noel smirked. "Ironic indeed."

---

Asoch saw the next one coming, and dove down under both the gas and the bullet, deciding to play risky and head butt the dragon in the gut before fluttering away with light laughter. "Poor bitchcakes, can't keep up? That kid down there is looking pretty bad."

Gabriel was visibly pale and the barrier was flickering more often. Del growled as she noted her Alpha was getting into a fight and whipped out a cellphone. "Activate the pillars around the town and set up the barrier now! I want this done within the next five minutes or I'm going to kick your sorry asses!" Levi, meanwhile, was calculating how much more paperwork was do be done after this fiasco. She knew there wasn't much else she could do, so she sat there and drank tea. She COULD send Silas back to hell, it was definitely in her power to do so, but she would not lest she reveal her true form.

'If only I'd be willing for what? Remember, Kyra, telepathic connections~! Oh, and I'm planning on heading to this awesome treasure hoard of dragon that was really old, even by dragon standards, who I killed a while ago. Seriously, its amazing. You could by the entire world with what's in there.'

The dragon curled in on himself as Asoch rammed his head into his scaly gut. All of the air in his massive lungs was forced out painfully, and some puffs of his paralyzing breath weakly shot out of his mouth and nostrils. He let out a weak whimper.

But as the blazing bird pulled away, Ynyr forced himself to stay afloat in the air, stretched his neck out as far as he could reach, and locked his jaws of razor sharp teeth into the plethora of red and orange feathers of the phoenix's wing. With the dragon's sorry performance up to this point, he did not plan on letting Asoch go.

And with that done, Ynyr didn't care to stay in the air much longer. Knowing he was much, much heavier than the bird, he let himself drop from the air, dragging his enemy with him.

Miss Rosa took an opportunity to dress Nick in a more suitable outfit, one she knew the personality would be happy with, as Missus Arachne and Raven appeared beside Evelyn. Her green eyes were well fixed on the house they had lived in for quite a few years, watching as the fire burned it down, but her ears caught the arguing between Nick and Levi. Though she was grateful that the woman had saved them, she was not pleased or grateful when she heard her threats towards her sister. "Fucking Councils." She hissed, her anger growing as her eyes narrowed, glancing over as the High Council member ran off towards the battle. Evelyn was currently an Unmarked Rogue, but she would gladly become Marked if it meant saving Eden from anyone who believed they had a right to take the girl away from the Thorn family.
"Are we to help the Councils with the Phoenix, Milady?" Arachne asked, looking up at the woman. "Are you mad, Arachne!? Hell no! It's not our fucking problem, it's theirs. Let them handle their own stuffed chicken." The red-headed doll responded for their creator's daughter, which caused the woman to smirk. "Raven has a point, but that's all up to Mother. After all, I'm not a part of the Council, am I?" The smirk grew more devilish as dolls began to appear left and right around Nick and Evelyn. Dolls of all type and looks, each one commanded by the silver strings attached to their limbs. "Go to her. Nick and I will be alright." She commanded, her stance becoming now more determined than ever. The dolls soon disappeared into the shadows of the trees. If Nick wanted to head into battle, Evelyn would allow it, since she would be right behind her.

So, Alicia was pissed and now currently surrounded by her creations, patiently waiting orders. Since the battle between the Phoenix and the Dragon was something she could not interfere with, she was almost grateful when Silas, the Marked Shadow Demon, made his appearance. Honestly, it mainly looked like Reginald was trying to get himself killed. And that displeased her. "If you want to die, then come to me!" Was her angered thoughts as she decided to lean against a tree, watching to see what the human man was to do. Truthfully, she didn't know whether to help him or not, but of course, the scowl on her face didn't really make her appear like she wanted to help.

"Violet, we REALLY shouldn't be here! Oh god, oh god, what if they find us-"

"Relax, Rosie. Can't you see the epic battle going on over there? They're too busy to deal with small fry like us."

"But we aren't small fry. Actually, the things we do are quite questionable and I'd think that if the councils discovered we were behind even HALF of the schemes you made, we'd be marked on the bingo book, top twenty, even."

"...You're so mean. You jerk!"

"Ai! Stop jerking the boss-lady's vibes!"

"Uh, ignoring how wrong that sounded... Who cares about the hippie vampire?"

"I do!"

"You ARE the hippie vampire, you don't count."

"...Harsh, dude."

"Stop harshing the boss-lady's vibes!"

"Shut UP Sugar!"

"Guyyyyssss! I really don't wanna get cau-"

"QUIT FUCKING WHINING!!"

The blue eyed werewolf girl with long black hair in two ponytails visibly shrunk, whimpering a slight. "...Kay." She tightened her grip on her dark pink skirt, large red turtleneck sweater baggy on her form as she looked down. The short haired blonde vampire sighed lightly and all but draped herself on the taller werewolf, patting the girl's head in an over dramatic manner. "Oh, poor Rosie, I'm sorry we yelled at you~! You know how we get when Ai decides to be a jerk and ruin all the good energy!"

"Say what now?"
Asked the tall black haired man, glaring down at the vampire woman with dark brown eyes, who returned the glare with pale blue irises. He was monstrous in height, but features clearly Japanese despite his muscled build, shirt missing and torso exposed for all to see, a pair of black jeans and brown oxfords the the only articles of cloth seen. He was handsome actually- No, drop dead gorgeous. He didn't seem to realize this, however. The blonde chuckled and got off the werewolf, adjusting her short green dress and hat before kicking the man in the shin with her brown leather boots. The man yelped and grabbed the injured area, hopping on his uninjured leg as he cursed in Japanese.

The last member of the group, a girl with black hair and eyes dressed in a pale pink shirt that slipped down her shoulders, black undershirt and baggy gray camo pants, adjusted her glasses and sighed, but smiled as sweetly as her name. "Boss-lady, I think we should hurry. After all, who know how long this blessing will last? We don't want Roche- Oh, I mean Rosette," She corrected when the girl paled at the 'slip up', a slight smirk on her lips. "To be caught by the council. We should hurry and get what we came here for."

"Sound advice, Sugar! Lets go, team! AWESOME FORCE, MOBILIZE!!"

"...We have no vehicle, Violet."

"MOBILIZE!"

"Vio-"

"MO. BIL. IZE."

"Bos-"

"MOBILIZE MOTHERFUCKERS."

"...Kay...?"

"I DON'T HEAR A 'FUCK YEAH!' HERE!"

"...Fucck yeah..."

"SAY WHAAAAAT?"

"Fuck yeah."

"SAAAAAAAY WHAAAAAA-"

"Fuck yeah already, lets GO dammit!"

"AWESOME FORCE, GO!"
The vampire woman began speeding off, vaguely embarrassed team in tow as they left the staring crowd, they couldn't help but sigh.

"Crazy fucking bitch..."

Kyra shook her head ever so slightly at Asoch. "You know very well my wishes. At least, if you are not as dense as most birds go." Laughing quietly, she circled the small party, not drawing attention to herself, as the bird and scaly thing played in the sky. Rolling her eyes she looked up. "Its a waste of time meddling with this Council..." She glowered in Asoch's direction and stopped underneath the tree that the fight had originally started at.

As the dragon grabbed Asoch's red wing and pulled him towards the ground, Kyra sighed reproachfully. Why must the dragons always ruin my not-so-elaborate plans?! She thought, blocking her thoughts from the Phoenix in the sky. She learned quickly from her own mistakes and didn't wish to let Asoch know more than he needed.

Picking at her fingernails she went into meditation of what to do if her plan involving the Phoenix didn't work out. The shadows enveloped her, blocking her visage from that of everyone else.

Jeremy made a face as Noel started swearing, and was already well aware that he had missed. "I know!" He snapped, then bit his lip. Putting his eye to the scope again. Jeremy wasn't a half-bad shot, so he was getting irritated that he was missing so much. It just wasn't typical, and if Jeremy believed in 'fate' then he might have had some thought on this being some sort of Karma. "I'll get it!"

The phone in his pocket vibrated and he ignored it, figuring that it was his brother. He was glad that he hadn't taken his final shot as he saw the flaming bird get pulled under the weight of the dragon beneath him. "I got ya!" The aim was in the dead center of Asoch's body, Jeremy was sure there was no way he could miss. He pulled the trigger and looked over the gun to see if it hit it's mark, holding his breath.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Why won't you answer your phone? I hate it when you leave me home alone..." Kacie was still sitting on the roof of the house, the house phone balanced on his knees. For some reason the more bubblier twin hadn't been allowed to have a cell-phone, everyone saw Jeremy as the older and more mature one even though they were the same age. "I'll find out what's going on by myself!" He hopped down the ladder and went into the house, packing a bag before leaving, heading towards the fighting creatures.
"Awesome force, Go!" He snuck around the crowd that had gathered around the bunch of loud people, and he watched as a blond woman ran off, followed by a group of people. "Oh!" It didn't take long for him to realize that the woman running off was a vampire, he nearly had a sixth sense for other creatures by now. So he decided to follow after them, easily distracted.
~~~~~~~~~~

Nick was far to happy to be wearing a suitable outfit, that was definitely fight-worthy. "Thankya Rosa! Yer amazing!" He cast a glance at Arachne and Raven as they argued. Listening to Evelyn he clicked his tongue. "That fuckin' buzzard burnt down our house! It wasn't even Eden's fault this time, so that buzzard is going to freeze, if I have any say in it! You and Mama Spider don't have to fight, I'll take care of it." With that he was running off towards the dragon and the phoenix, stopping in a clear spot in full view of Alice, he glared up at the red bird and silver dragon, watching them fight. Black flames danced around the girl's fingers, as her jaw was set with determination. Nick was waiting for the right moment to attack.
