"Another reason why you would make a better king.." The archmage sighed. "I don't even need to ask him if it's part of the old archmage's documents, or in clear view in the library. He doesn't even need to know."
"Yes, that would be him. I gave him a pendant that I need, but as I've said previously, due to the magics cast on the pendant I myself can't handle it, I can wear it, but not hold it..Long story on that.If you are Bellatrix's son, then maybe I won't even need to look in the documents..My father knew Bellatrix..She helped him out of the palace with me and my mother, she was his most trusted ally within the castle, even as a small child..Tonight is a full moon.." the wizard seemed to fall into a trance as his pupils dissapeared and he spoke in a voice not of his own. "On the full moon after your rise to Archmage, visit the Graveyard of the Archmages nearby the palace grounds, and break this crystal pendant, with the son and husband of Bellatrix at your side, along with the servants Altair and Vega..Then you may see me again, my beloved son..And you will gain power beyond your imagination."
The wizard returned from his trance and subtley smiled at the prince. "Those were my Father's final words."

"True...I guess if you can find out without him knowing, then it would be safe." Mycroft seemed relieved. He avoided his father as much as was humanly possible...
"Oh...that's Curry! He's a good guy. He's the tallest, most powerful servant we have here. He's more powerful than my father is, strength-wise, buuut...he's a little...off. He's...what is it called...ill in the head, slightly? My father bought him off a reeeaally abusive slaver...well, he got him for free from that slaver because, after he'd punished Curry, violently, for something, Curry sneaked outside during the night and killed his second large source of income--his chickens...all of them."
Mycroft seemed fascinated. "I don't know if we have any servants with those names, but you can check. A lot of them avoid me because I'm the prince...only the ones that hang around Curry come near me."

"I wouldn't be surprised if you were to make him your own personal bodyguard, that man lifted my entire collection of books--Which is EXTREMELY heavy--AND my heavy jewelery box, on top of that.I am shocked that he has no strength enhancing magic cast upon him..He did seem a bit odd, but he didn't seem violent.."
"They should be obvious, your race is pale, Vega and ALtair are of my race, so they have dark skin and most likely have runes, but they may be forced to hide them with cosmetics..Vega is short and timid, Altair is tall, and very quiet..In our race's society he would be a castle guard, sitting on a perch like a majestic gargoyle watching over the palace doors, or like an assassin in the shadows, hidden somewhere in the throne room to protect his king."

Mycroft laughed. "Curry? My bodyguard? He's kind of already my 'big brother,' in a sense. He's really easily distracted, so he wouldn't be much use in a serious situation. Plus, he never takes anything seriously. I guess if I really wanted him to protect me, he could give me a piggyback ride--he'd pay attention to me, then, 'cause I'd be hanging off his neck..."
Mycroft chewed his lip, stretching his legs out--they were falling asleep. "Most of our servants are different races or mixes between my race and another race, actually...some are pale, some are dark as night, some are in-between...it's a good mix. Curry's one of the few of them that's completely my race, and it's obvious--his skin is white as snow..."

"He cares for you, though, that much is obvious. I'd bet you that if you put that man in a situation where you are in grave danger he would protect you with his life..Just from what I've seen that is."
"And that is why you would need to get a wet cloth, hold Vega still and wipe whatever he's put on his face to hide his tattoos off.I know him from my father's memories, and when he's scared he just stands therre paralyzed..Vega and Altair are my brothers..My father found them wandering the forest, they tried to break in and steal food from us to survive, Altair did at least..My father and I took them in and raised them, until one morning they were gone, my father had sent them to the castle..He was a great fortuneteller..So he probably had already seen all of this, even before he even knew he would reach his full potential, he probably thought at that point that he would live forever.." The wizard sighed sadly, his long ears lowering.
"Oh..I'll..Need some new clothing, obviously..Could you or a servant get me something to wear? All I require is a simple sleeveless robe--I have at least five, any will do--, and a new pair of undergarments..Unless I am not allowed to walk barefoot, as I am accustomed to.If so, there are a pair of silver sandals that I could wear..Something more relaxing, until the ritual tonight, then you will see my prayer robes."

"Yeah...he takes care of me, more so than my father does..." Mycroft trailed off, suddenly, and looked up.
"Don't tell me you're having some sort of fun time in here without me." Curry was standing in the doorway, with the door half-open. For how much of a giant he was, he had made his way into the room in an extremely quiet fashion. "That is not nice. You know I like my fun time."
Mycroft coughed and went a little pink. "Shush..."
Curry cackled, sounding like some sort of insane crow, and held out his hand. "Cheers." The pendant was dangling off of two of his fingers.

"You still need to give it to Mycroft, I can't actually hold it unless you want to see my hands to spontaneously combust into blue fire and burn down to my bones. And we're all men here, I do not see why me being in a bathtub is such a problem..Unless either of you like men, then that is a different story altogether. Nothing against it, I myself don't exaclty find the female body pleasing.Although maybe that's because in my race, the women are the warriors, and some look more like men." The wizard shuddered, and it wasn't because of the ice cold water he sat in. "Thank you for your assistance, by the way, Curry..You and your friends are quite strong, you especially. How you managed to lift about fifty books, some weighing multiple pounds each, AND my jewelery box, and still offer to let my cats ride on top of all of that amazes me. In speaking of which.."
The wizard's eyes glew and he called out in his own language, the words 'Baten' and 'Deneb' being the only ones that could be recognised.
The two cats came sprinting past Curry and Mycroft and jumped onto the edge of the tub, purring at their master before jumping in with him, swimming around in the cold water happily, any dirt on them turning into ice crystals and snow as they came off their bodies.
The wizard whispered to them an chuckled, genuinely smiling as he gently held Deneb, the white cat's tail still, laughing again as the cat mewed and turned around to playfully swat at the mage's hand.

Mycroft took the pendant from Curry, frowning a bit. He was clumsy and didn't like being entrusted with something so important. "Um...what do I do with it?"
Curry gave a great yawn. "I'm all for males. I have never seen a woman who seems attractive to me in all my life." He spoke offhandedly. He didn't find women attractive, but when there weren't any males around, he would grudgingly settle for one of them. "With how active my love life is, I would not like to have many women involved in it...having little versions of me running around will never sound like a good idea--I'm bad enough as it is."
He shifted, not exactly liking the cats. He was never fond of animals--when he'd been with his previous owner, he had been attacked and almost killed by his prized dobermans. Nearly eaten alive.

The wizard stared at Mycroft for a moment then pointed to his own neck. "Put it on my neck."
"After influence from ym father's brand of parenting, I don't think I would make the greatest father either..Although the abilities of each sex does not exactly stop my race from producing a child. The long answer to the question of 'how?' would take me hours, the short takes merely a second, that answer being 'magic'.." He cleared his throat a bit. "..Are you actually afraid of two harmless kittens, Curry? You are almost a foot taller than me and you probably have lifted a ton of weight just today and you are frightened of a kitten that probably wants nothing more to do with you than to simply rub against your legs and meow at you, maybe cast a playful spell at you that puts an ice crystal down your back. The only instance when hey would mean you harm is if you threaten my life."
Baten jumped out of the water, somehow completely dry already, and brushed past Mycroft's legs before circling Curry, inspecting him a bit, meowing rather cutely and laying down on one of his feet.

Mycroft frowned. But, after a moment, he leaned in and securely fastened the necklace around his neck.
"If I could reproduce with males, my life would be over," Curry informed him, happy that wasn't the case. "I have a very short temper, and I'm impatient. I scare children, not make them."
When the cat settled down on his foot, he wiggled it a bit, trying in a gentle way to remove the creature from his foot. "I am not fond of animals touching me. I was almost ripped to shreds by dogs when I was younger."

All of the Wizard's tattoos glew at once for a good bit and then he sighed in relief. "Thank you.And by the way..It is impossible for you to break this pendant, if you were nervous about that. Your face looked it."
"Thank the Gods that the same case isn't true for you..Uneless you fall in love with one of my race..If you have your eyes on a servant named Vega, or Altair, you maaay not want to go for them in a romantic sense. They are pureblooded members of my race..If allowed the chance they could be just as good at magic as I am."
"Baten, come back..Maybe later you can help Curry warm up to you." He chuckled as the cat seemed to pout sadly as he looked up at Curry, meowed and jumped back into the water.
"Mycroft..Myca..If you could at least have a servant get me the clothes I described, I'd much appreciate that..Now that I have my strength back I Don't think I'll need to take it from the water any longer. Not that I don't enjoy an ice cold bath.."

((Curry probably would have pulled it apart already if he was able to. :3 Now, if you want badass...that's Curry!))
Mycroft seemed to relax, immensely. "Oh, good...I'm so clumsy. I was afraid..."
Curry raised an eyebrow. "Those two? Oh, no. They stay away from me. Vega is afraid of my...tallness, I suppose? Either way, they are not a part of the 'clique' that hangs around me..." He looked quite relieved when Baten removed himself from his foot. He heard the comment about clothing and straightened himself a bit--he had been slouching slightly to fit in the doorframe. "I'll fetch clothing for you."

"Only I can break this, and only under special circumstances. You could crush this with the weight of this entire castle and everything in it and it would not even have a scratch on it." He laughed, petting one of the cats.
"Yes, in one of my piles of clothing there should be a simple, dark blue sleeveless robe. bring that and a fresh pair of undergarments, that's all I'll need." He said, looking over at Curry. "When you return to your chambers later tonight, please find Altair or Vega and tell one to find and bring the other to my chamber, I'd like to speak to them..And Vega might not fear you if you'd give him reason not to..He does fear people who are taller, but he does not fear me, or Altair..You have to earn his trust."

"Which I find odd. You seem graceful as a swan..Although appearances don't always show what lies deep inside.Vega may seem timid as a mouse, but with training he could be as strong as a lion..Altair as well, although he is strong anyway, or so I hear..Strengthened by speed and prescision, not merelyby physical strength. That is true power." The Archmage said, before looking back at Curry. "To be blunt, I think you are the rare occasion where your appearance says all. You are fairly handsome, but I can simply tell by your eyes that you have had a troubled life, which has drove you to violence, maybe even murder.Or thoughts of it..You act with great power, but with a troubled past, confidence is only there to hide weakness, as a defensive measure..Behind fierce eyes lies a traumatized child that knows true fear, fear of death.."
"But, first impressions don't show all, not even to the son of an all-seeing Archmage..Before my ceremony tonight in the Mage's graveyard, I'll need to bring your father to there as well, Myca..This of course means he will know who I am truly.I will not speak my name still, for I know one thing my father said holds deep truth.'A mage who's name is revealed is powerless in a time in which you may need to speak against those who know you by name..So if you ever saw that your superiors were not fit to hold their position, even if you had no malevolence in your heart for the innocent..Those corrupted superiors could still your tongue simply by speaking your name..This is why Vega and Altair, your brothers, may never reach their full potential, for a high superior such as the king would not wish a servant, or a soldier, in the case of Altair, to hold the power to rebel, even if the king was to twist and corrupt.'..It isn't as if I excpect that of you fo your father..But I need to be sure that I know your true natures..That I can trust you with the power to control me.." The wizard said, looking Myca dead in the eyes. "..The power..To, simply by telling me an order, even if I do not accept this order even if that would mean certain death..I would scream in silence as I walked into the battlefield and annihalated innocents, became a monster against my own will..This is how my kingdom fell under a wicked king..This is why my race is so suspicious of those who do not share our blood."

Mycroft snickered. "Heeee...I'm no swan. I'm more like a very unstable table. I rhymed!" He paused. "Um...okay?" The intense stare he was throwing at him unnerved him a bit. "I, uh...I don't think he'll listen to me, so you're probably going to have to ask him yourself. He rarely ever listens to me, unless it means finding a way to keep me in line or something like that...and I'm not like that. I'm not power-hungry, unlike some people I know." Mycroft threw a bitter glance in the direction of the throne room.
Curry didn't respond to the assumed comments about his past. "I will fetch that clothing for you. And I'll try to talk to those two servants, but I doubt I'll get far." He turned and started off towards the proper room.

"I will. For further reference, if my father mentions your mother, do not hold me accountable for what ensues with your father..My father doesn't even know she died, unless he saw that in his visions as well.." The wizard watched as his pets crawled up onto the edge of the tub and both mewed happily at Myca.
"Ah..It seems the Kaitos brothers have taken a liking to you.The white is Deneb Kaitos, the grey is Baten Kaitos.
A timid, shaky-handed young servant followed along with his brother in a pack of servants trying to see the archmage, and he managed to break out of it, only trying to deliver fresh bedclothes to the prince's room, which itself was making him nervous, as he had never met the prince face to face. Behind him was a taller man who seemed to be constantly keeping an eye on anyone in a close radius of who you could easily assume was his younger brother.
The younger of the two stumbled forward, somehow keeping the stack of fabrics in his hands steady as he bumped right into Curry. "Aaah!" He exclaimed, stumbling backwards a bit. "I-I'm sorry!" He said in a frightened tone, looking up at Curry as his brother rushed up to him. The younger stood at 5'3'' and looked quite like the archmage, soft, delicate tan skin and hair that was that familiar odd blend of gold, grey and silver, along with those glowing eyes. His were currently golden yellow, his eyes sign of fear..Which like the archmage's calm blue eyes, was their default color. His hair was even the same style, a long braid, but his was looser, making it appear thicker around the top, as only the bottom ends were held together.
The other silently seemed to say 'are you okay' with only body language and teh color of his eyes, currently the same yellow, out of fear and shock for the one he was protecting. He stood at 6'0'' and looked simply like an elder form of his younger brother, and almost could pass for teh archmage's twin if it wasn't for the fact that he looked physically stronger, if not only by a smidge, and also the look in his eyes was harsh compared to the calm eyes of the archmage.
These two were of course Vega and Altair, respectively.

Mycroft happily reached out to pet the cats. "C'mere, cuties!" He frowned at the mention of his father once more. "...Yeah...I don't think my father would take well to the mention of my mother. Trying to erase someone from history is difficult, especially when trying to explain my existence."
He reveled at the constant lies his father told about his background...they were all so interesting.
Curry grunted, scratching his head. "Maybe you shouldn't carry such a tall stack of...whatever that is, around." He eyed the bedclothes pointedly. "You do need to be able to see, you know." He paused suddenly, realizing who he'd stumbled upon. He then pointed to the Prince's room. "You're needed in there. Both of you. It's something important to the Prince and his new friend."

"Erasing her from history is like killing her again..It's disrespectful to say the very least, especially to such a wonderful woman. My father told me all about stories he had heard from the castle about her..She herself could have ruled the country quite well. The palace itself must cry for that loss.."
The two purred softly, until Deneb slipped and fell back into the water. Baten looked confusedly down at him as he scrambled back up, looking embarrassed as a cat could.
"Ah, I'm sorry I'm sorry, I really really am..I-I can see, I don't know how I didn't see you, I-I.." Vega stuttered, before Altair calmed him and softly smiled at Curry.
The older man quietly spoke. "Once my brother is done with his task we will visit him, thank you Curry." He said, his voice deep and almost intimidating, although his face was for once soft and calm, happy that Curry wasn't angry and that his brother was okay.

He happily helped Deneb back up out of the water. "A bit distracted, were you?" He sounded friendly.
"I'm not angry." Curry had a temper only when he was disrespected, or someone he cared about was disrespected. "Cool it...at least talk to him in the next hour or so." He paused. "I gotta get something...I'll see you later."

The pure white cat purred softly, concerned for his owner's current mood but enjoying that scratching so damn much.
The timid servant replaced the prince's bedclothes and handed them to a nearby servant who worked in teh same 'department' as he did, before making his way to the prince, with Altair close behind. He stared in amazement at the archmage, recognising the man without any sort of effort at all.
The archmage calmed himself and smileda t the two servants. "Myca, could you get a wet cloth?I want to see my brothers for who they really are..Not the mortal image that makeup makes them appear as." He said, nudging his head to behind Myca, where Altair and Vega stood, shocked to see their elder brother.
